My appointment was at noon and they saw me at 11:55. No waiting. The office is very nicely decorated and very clean. I felt very comfortable at derma spa and it was my best doctor/patient experience ever in the GTA. I highly recommend derma Spa for their excellent service and friendly and welcoming atmosphere. 5/5

On DECEMBER 29 my FIFTH APPOINTMENT I arrived for my appointment at 1.30 and was denied service. I could see in red print that it was for NEW CUSTOMERS and also a list of treatments I might be interested in. I offered to fill out although not necessary as I only had a couple more sessions...left THEY INSISTED THAT IF I COULD NOT FILL OUT I WOULDN'T RECEIVE TREATMENT. Further as I became annoyed they offered a print out and quiet room to accomplish the request.Later in a text message, I was told it was a consultation appointment. I did not need consultation...I WANTED WHAT I PAID FIRST...AS INEFFECTIVE AS IT IS TURNING OUT TO BE. I wanted to…read moreget massages for my wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law and had no idea where to take them. I found tons of spas in downtown Toronto using Google, but wanted to find something closer. Saw the sign for this place as I was driving along Kingston and decided to drop in. Oh how lucky I was! I was greeted right away by the owner (William) and I booked 3 appointments. Sis-in-law and wife opted for facials instead of massages. They raved about the service and have been looking for a place exactly like this (superior quality of the procedure and extractions)! In the DC area, we've had no luck... Every spa/salon we've tried only performed minor extractions (not worth the price of the facial). My wife also decided to get a haircut while she was waiting for her facial. She told me that she got one of the best haircuts she's ever received! She said William was awesome and now her hair has more volume and the style is better suited to her hair's natural curliness. My brother-in-law and I were so impressed that we both decided to get haircuts as well. Our stylist, Karelia, was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Started off with a relaxing scalp massage and then got one of THE BEST haircuts in my 38 years of life! I have a stubborn cowlick that she addressed and she even trimmed my caveman eyebrows LOL. Seriously though, now i'm pissed because I have yet to find a place like this in my area. Great positive energy from the owner and all the employees of this establishment. I'm really glad that I randomly walked into this place! Oh, and we're bringing my father-in-law here tomorrow as well :)

I'm sorry, but it's a no from me. The pedicure I received left a lot to be desired…read more To start, the soapy foot bath was tepid at best. My nails were not filed evenly and some are strangely angled and not even filed straight. Very little was done to smooth the heels of my feet and they we left rather rough. I'm also not a fan of metal scrappers being used for exfoliating. The polish was thick and gloopy and it left little bubbles and a strange looking texture on my nails. There was quite a bit of nail polish left on my skin which I had to clean off once I got home. There was no tissue wrapped between my toes to keep them apart and the polish was applied before putting my flip flops on so putting them on after only ruined what had been done to that point. The second coat of polish was more to fix the mess that putting on the flip flops made. The outcome defeated the purpose of getting a pedicure. I'll have to take it off and redo it myself before stepping out in sandals. The calf massage was nice though. Live and learn.

In addition, I had previously done microblading but didn't like the shape anymore as I felt it was a little uneven. I mentioned this to Nita and asked her to shape it so it was more even. That's pretty much all I told her and my eyebrows turned out great! They were the perfect thickness and she managed to make them look super even. So happy with how they turned out! I did my upper lip as well, which I've never done before. She was patient in explaining what to do so she could thread it properly. You can tell she had a lot of experience (19 years to be exact)! My appointment was pretty quick. I was in and out within 15mins. This is a home-based business, so that's something to keep in mind. Her prices are very reasonable. Eyebrow threading was $5 and upper lip threading was $3. Overall, very happy with my experience and will be coming back. Thanks, Nita!

I confirmed back a time via e-mail and even received a reminder e-mail 24 hours before my appointment. LOCATION It is right off of Bayly - note it's not located in the condo towers but rather next to them in the townhouses, street-facing. Parking is street parking - I had no problem finding a spot on a Tuesday evening but I can imagine it might be a challenge during the weekend. FIRST IMPRESSION When you walk it, it's absolutely stunning - classy decor, very clean and very chic. It's very small (one treatment room) however it's done up amazing. I was met by Yao (my massage therapist) and had a quick health questionnaire to complete. MASSAGE QUALITY Amazing! I had a 90 minute massage done and it was completely worth it. Yao focused on my problem areas (shoulders, neck, upper back) and also accommodated my requests (no feet - I have an issue with ppl touching my feet!) and also made adjustments to the pillows so it was more comfortable. The massage cream used was also very nice - lightly scented (not too overpowering) and not too greasy. OVERALL I have found my go-to massage place in Pickering (have been looking for awhile). The hours are fantastic and they are open 7 days a week. Because there's only one treatment room, you feel like it's your own personal spa - no hearing other people walking/talking, getting their massage done...extremely personal and private. Highly recommend to check it out!
