I had a pretty negative experience from a recent visit to Sephora…read more I was doing a return and a buyback of a perfume that we purchased at another location We got a Visa gift card as a gift and instead wanted to use that to purchase the perfume and get money back to our bank account That part went fine However it was when I was shopping further and looking to buy a cream for myself Now I know staff are there to be helpful and she was trying to be nice saying how if we purchase a fragrance we'd get four times the points which wasn't done on the repurchase And just before doing the transaction I told her that we did this on a Visa gift card and she said ...oh yah..:shouldn't be a problem...well it was a problem....the gift card didn't reload after doing the refund...I couldn't buy back the perfume with the gift card again....another staff member said that it usually takes 7-10 business days for the money to back on the card....so I ended up walking out without the perfume or the cream So disappointed and frustrating I think I will likely be going to the Pickering or Oshawa locations from now on

Staff are very professional and they have great prices for the services they provide. I appreciate the pre and post care reminders as well as the appointment reminders. Very helpful cause I'm forgetful. I think it's pretty cool that you can get treatments at other locations too, although I haven't visited the other locations yet. Since I have been denied service on a paid for service I am requesting my money back...on services not rendered $1277.31 They wasted my time and so I will not be returning nor wish to debate/ mediate the situation further. Additionally they advise that services are...non refundable. However if they refuse or can not provide services,,,which I was told then monies have to be returned. Every spa/salon we've tried only performed minor extractions (not worth the price of the facial). My wife also decided to get a haircut while she was waiting for her facial. She told me that she got one of the best haircuts she's ever received! She said William was awesome and now her hair has more volume and the style is better suited to her hair's natural curliness. My brother-in-law and I were so impressed that we both decided to get haircuts as well. Our stylist, Karelia, was A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Started off with a relaxing scalp massage and then got one of THE BEST haircuts in my 38 years of life! I have a stubborn cowlick that she addressed and she even trimmed my caveman eyebrows LOL. My nails were not filed evenly and some are strangely angled and not even filed straight. Very little was done to smooth the heels of my feet and they we left rather rough. I'm also not a fan of metal scrappers being used for exfoliating. The polish was thick and gloopy and it left little bubbles and a strange looking texture on my nails. There was quite a bit of nail polish left on my skin which I had to clean off once I got home. There was no tissue wrapped between my toes to keep them apart and the polish was applied before putting my flip flops on so putting them on after only ruined what had been done to that point. The second coat of polish was more to fix the mess that putting on the flip flops made. The outcome defeated the purpose of getting a pedicure. I'll have to take it off and redo it myself before stepping out in sandals. The calf massage was nice though. Live and learn.
