Can't go wrong with the technicians here at Nail One Spa! Ladies here care making great suggestions , efficient and very tentative. Really good sense of the team spirit they've got going Extremely accommodating to say the very least:) Parking available in the back and on the street Pedicure was just under $40 Full set Extensions, manicure, and design was about $85 I would highly recommend text reminders

The peeling, probably gonna come right off

A little disappointed, came here twice, both times the nail shipped or just came off entirely. The pedicures are okay, application could use some work. The shellac is worse, the colour originally spilled out onto my fingers. I know my finger nails are really short but comon, that's so much spilling out. Paid 53 in total plus pedicure and I still need to fix the rest on my own? Maybe their gel is better, I might just give this one more chance since it's a pretty clean spa and the workers are nice. Update: all of them fell off within the next day :/ money wasted.

Happy with my nails!! Still holding up quite well after a week... see pics :) Wanted the accent nail to have snowflakes which the girl tried her best to do for me and I am quite happy with how everything turned out. The price is also better than other places I've been to. And the colour selection is great. I don't typically have a regular nail place but this one is pretty good, walk-in's are welcome, and there is parking at the back of their store. Just grab a parking pass from them and you're good to go. Would be happy to come back and refer friends!

I was premature in my first review. This nail salon is not very consistent. I came back for a pedicure and to bring my mom for a full set bio gel. None of our nails lasted... There was lifting at the edge and the other girls who did my family's nails was not as attentive and there was bubbles and different thicknesses as mentioned in my previous review. Usually bio gel nails can last up to a month but these nails barely lasted the 2 weeks. I definitely noticed chipping and lifting. My mom ended up having to take hers off completely within the first week. Granted we were on vacation in Hawaii so maybe the seawater had some impact on the durability of the nails, but it just didn't last long. The shaping and the designs were really good, but that means nothing if the durability and consistency isn't there. I probably won't come back.

Came here Sunday morning for a pedicure and mani gel refill. They are busy all the time so should call ahead to make a appointment. Pedicure was $30, honestly was a bit weak. They use this disposable plastic exfoliater which wasn't strong enough for my dry heels. The paint job was good but my heels are dry and bumpy still The gel refill was $38 I think and it was amazing!! Way better then the shops around pacific mall. You must go to coco. She is attentive, quick and flawless. She helped me pick out my colour and didn't rush me. The gel wasn't thick and looks very natural

The number one thing I look for at my nail salons is cleanliness. When I heard about a brand new studio that was clean and cheap, I had to see for myself! The salon is one of the first floor businesses of a new condo. The parking for the salon is the visitor parking for the building which is located behind the studio. There is an entrance to the salon from the parking and you can run in and grab a parking pass which you'll need to display on your dash. When you walk in you can tell that the salon is brand new. A lot of times I've walked into a nail salon and the chairs were ragged, floors dirty, etc. That doesn't make me feel good about the tools they're going to use on me. This place however, was spotless! I made an appointment for a mani/pedi and they were able to tend to me right away. They have a lot of colour selection so it's good to get there a few minutes early and look through them all. My manicure technician recommended some colours which was helpful for me since I tend to rely on the same colours. I was seated at one of the pedicure stations in a very comfy chair and two technicians started on my mani and pedi. They were both very quick with their hands and efficient. They were also very quiet. There was zero talking which I kinda prefer so I can enjoy the experience. There was a nice arm and leg massage that was part of the procedure as well. The drying station was comfortable and they didn't rush me out. My entire service was $38 which was awesome for a great service and my nails turned out really well! During my appointment which was on a Thursday afternoon, there were a few walk-ins. Not all of them could be accommodated ASAP so I would recommend making an appointment. If there is a bit of a wait, there is a plaza next door with a Panera Breads and Five Guys where you can pass the time. Definitely will be back!

I got a mani pedi done here and paid a little over $50. I wasn't pleased with the pedi. My toes were so chunky and gross. I politely complained and another lady added an extra top coat. I had shellac done on my hands and I knew I should of said something as well as it was so thick and uneven. Not even a week later my shellac started lifting and peeling. And now all my nails can be peeled off. I don't even know if it's worth going back and complaining. But I know I will NEVER be back here. Terrible.

I've been here on numerous occasions and love the work that these nail techs do! I often go to Lili for shellac manis. She does an amazing job with nail shape and my shellac polish lasts up to 3 weeks without any chipping or peeling ... which is a rarity for me. Recently I got a pedicure and gel nail extensions by Coco, as I was going on vacation and my nails were really REALLY short. The extensions lasted two weeks, with only one nail coming off by 2.5weeks. However, as I was on vacation I was using my hands a lot and am generally not very gentle with my hands. So 2.5 weeks with no complaints is good enough for me! Overall I love the staff and love this salon. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because their prices are slightly more than other nail salons in the area. But considering the quality of service and work that I receive when I come here, I'm completely okay with paying a bit more.

They have very few staff so you have to make an appointment in advance. Even so, I once went in for an appointment at 1 and had to wait half an hour for a technician to be available; they only had two working. I gel extensions ($55 and up to 6 layers). The technicians are skilled and they do amazing jobs and I am always left with a flawless set of nails that do not lift for weeks. I just wish they would hire more staff, and improve their costumer service. They are very disorganized. Staff are often balancing multiple clients at once, while also managing the phone and booking appointments. They also often answer personal phone calls, send texts etc, making the customer feel like they aren't priority & that the tech's attention is elsewhere. If you don't mind the wait and you have the patience, it's worth it.

Badly done shellac manicure that started chipping and peeling the next day. This photo was taken 3 days after the manicure.

Based on the great reviews, I decided to visit for a simple shellac manicure and regular pedicure. The location is easy to get to. As others have mentioned, you may park in the parking lot behind the salon and go inside to get a pass. My appointment was for right as they opened at 9:30a. The inside was clean and simple, the nail colours are well presented. There was no other customers and I was brought to sit in the pedicure chair. The staff was friendly and I had one girl doing the manicure, another doing the pedicure. Everything was very rushed. The staff was distracted many times by friends coming in and chatting with them, not other customers. There was another customer there half way through mine who actually expressed that she felt rushed. Once finished, I paid in cash and left. Not a day later and all the ends of my nails were chipping. I do not work with my hands, I do not do dishes, I do not pick at my nails. I spoke to some co-workers who told me the same thing happened to them after visiting this location. I will not be returning,

My friends and I got our nails done before going on vacation and I was extremely impressed with the amount of detail that was put in. The environment is relaxing with a large selection of colours to choose from as well. Staff are very polite as well, will be back for sure!

The Nail Social can be found inside a strip mall, between A Corner Cafe (which surprisingly is not…read moreon a corner, lol) and Yin Ji Chang Fen with plenty of parking available. Since my family and I were staying in Markham during our last vacation, I wanted to find a nail salon in the city, which ended up leading me here (which I found on Yelp). There wasn't any information about price though on this Yelp page but am happy to add these photos of the pricing that I took when I arrived. I initially had made an appointment for Tuesday, around 2 pm the day before. However, my lunch with one of my aunts and uncles went longer than expected and so I had to call to cancel and ask if I could change the time to a later time. The girl on the phone was so kind and told me because I wasn't exactly sure what time I would be available to have my nails done, she suggested to call before coming in just so I would not have to wait if I was to do a walk in. So later that day, I called prior and the girl told me to come in, so I walked in around 4:55 pm and waited a little over 10 minutes before being asked to take a seat by an employee named Joey. I wanted to get gel nails, which is different from shellac nails for those that may confuse the two (especially since sometimes nail salons will use both words interchangeably but they are not the same). Shellac nails are kind of like a semi- permanent polish, which doesn't last as long (and also is cheaper than gel nails). But gel nails are a semi- permanent gel nail, which does last a few weeks longer. Gel nails cost $75 for a new set. I also wanted a design (I almost always get a design with my nails, which does cost extra but I don't mind), which I had a photo on my phone to show Joey. I told her what design I wanted for my ring finger and middle finger and the same on the other hand (so total of 4 nails that would have design). Joey told me that cost would be $75, in which she didn't charge me extra for design (so I made sure to tip her higher because of it). I liked that Joey took a photo of the design I had in mind with her camera phone so that she could refer to it on her own phone while she was painting my nails. Joey definitely is very talented and I just loved the design she had, as I picked an ice cream cone with sprinkles. She also helped me to find the right colors that I wanted (I wasn't looking for the exact shade and am pretty flexible). I really loved the way the design and the pink color I picked for the rest of my nails, as it really went with the ice cream theme. Although Joey told me that my nails would last 4 weeks, my nails lasted beyond that (and never chipped or lifted. Being in health care, I don't baby my hands and I also wash them constantly, honestly these were probably the best nails I have ever had done). The only reason I took them off was because it really need a fill since my nails had grown over. Joey told me that she had not done an ice cream cone before and she was also happy with her results too. Now this is my first time getting my nails done in Canada and am not sure if it is not customary to get a hand massage and lotion on your hands after a manicure or not. I didn't get one after this manicure but have always had it done with the nail salons in California and also in Hawaii where I have gotten my nails done. Not a big deal, but I wished I had brought my own lotion to put on since my hands were dry. But overall, I am very happy with my experience and would come back the next time I visit Markham in the future. Please note that they do accept credit card but there is a credit card fee. I ended up paying cash.

Nails that are on fleek, of course. I'm kidding, I swear I'm not that basic. I don't even own Uggs. Nailed It Studios is a tiny, appointment-only, cash-only, 3-woman shop, though I think they're hiring more nail techs to keep up with their insane demand. They're located in the weirdly isolated Langham Square mall on Kennedy but are thriving thanks to their impressive Instagram feed and what I'm guessing is a lot of referrals. When your nails last more than a month without chipping/lifting, you're bound to get questions on where you got them done. I got my nails done by Maggie, then Margie. Maggie is extremely sweet but was a little rough when filing one of my fingers. It didn't hurt per say, but it wasn't comfortable, and I left with a bit of swelling that lasted for 2 days. Same thing happened to my friend. That was literally the only flaw though, as my nails survived for the 6 weeks afterwards, with no lifting or dulling. My second time with Margie was even better. I'm a bad customer because I fidget and tend to stiffen up my hands a lot, due to them being perched in permanent typing position. She was patient with me and the nails turned out perfectly, no discomfort at all. That's why she's the boss. Her marble designs are legendary. Bookings are done conveniently on Whatsapp and first timers need to drop a $20 deposit, in person or through e-transfer. I love this. It ensures I have a transcript of my bookings and I get to ask questions and get quotes on designs I find on Pinterest. They take bookings one month in advance. Margie runs the Whatsapp and she's very responsive. Pricing is extremely fair. They only use gel and it starts at $30. $2/nail for matte, $5 for special polishes, and $6-$12+ for intricate designs. $10 to remove polish. Prices are transparent, reasonable, and you pay for quality stuff. They also give a stamp card which gives you 20% off after your 10th visit. The facility is very spacious and they have multiple rooms with different temperatures. There are also lounge areas with a pool table, gym, computer area like a PC room, sleeping rooms, and even a restaurant. Everything is clean and well maintained, and there are multiple water dispensers with paper cups. In the shower area, they provide towels and all the basic amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, and shower caps, so you don't really need to bring anything. Just bring your swimsuit and underwear. One thing to note is that slippers, socks, and robes were extra. It opens 24 hrs so you can stay overnight if you want but there is an additional fee. I stayed overnight this long weekend with a friend because we needed some rest, and it was such a relaxing and enjoyable time. We got to sweat, detox, eat, and just unwind. I think this will be our go to spot in the winter
