I had my nails done yesterday by Joy who is absolutely amazing. She took so much care in doing my nails properly and perfectly. So happy with everything. The salon is stunning and so very clean I was very impressed. Loved the vibe in the salon too it was quiet and really nice music was playing. Honestly this is the 5th time I've tried somewhere other than my regular nail place at Yonge and Eglinton because I moved to Stouffville. The ambiance and customer service is lovely but the actual nail work is sub-par for gel refill. I asked the Stouffville Buy and Sell who was recommended and they said Angela. Take a look at the pictures posted, the refill was not at all close enough to the cuticle and the cuticles weren't cleaned enough. The gel was not done thick enough which caused 2 of my fingers to literally RIP OFF bleeding from just making a bed. I'm sick of nail places not being able to do quality nail work. Going back to my ORIGINAL nail place, check out Ananeke Beauty Salon at Yonge and Eglinton and ask for Lila. read more

Location 4/5 on stouffville rd near hwy 48. Good for stouffville neighbourhood customers. environment 4/5 very comfy but i wish they use plastic wrap for the tub or sensitize in front of me. Service 3/5 zena was very patient but a little clumsy, i didnt notice my nails shape after i left, and the edges are till rough. And it only took her 20-25mins from start to finish, while i saw other customer started earlier than me but finish after me. Its a 50/50 for me to return to this spa, because the service was not exactly i expected but i am willing to have someone else to do my pedicure. read more

I was very excited to come here because the reviews seemed alright and it was close to home. But I really didn't like the experience. My appointment was for 4:15pm on a Saturday... I wasn't attended to until 4:40. Finally someone let me know that my nail tech was on lunch. She told me that they had been very busy today, which I don't doubt, but hey - at least let a girl know that you're not gonna be able to see me at the said time of appointment. When getting my nails filed, I had my camera propped up. The nail tech noticed my camera, paused what she was doing, and picked up my camera with her thumb on the lens without asking. I felt that was kinda rude, not only that but now I have her dirty thumb print on my camera lens. Lastly, she did a terrible job of shaping and painting my nails - which is the most basic step of any nail procedure. She seemed like she was in huge rush because she rushed through the entire thing - painting the nails half-heartedly. I absolutely love this place! My cousin introduced me to this salon and let me tell you this place is always so spotless and ready to go when I arrive. The staff are the nicest every time I come in and they make me feel very welcome. I really recommend this salon if anyone is in the Markham/stouffville area. read more

I have been to other nail salons and spas in Markham and Stouffville and nothing compares to the professionalism and cleanliness of Nails 1010. I have never seen a nail salon that respects their clients as much as Angela (the manager) and her team. Angela thinks of everything possible to make her clients comfortable such as providing refreshments, hiring only the best, and also ensuring that everyone in her team speaks English in front of their clients so they won't feel disrespected or left out by speaking their native language. I never knew how poorly I was treated at previous spas until I came to Nails 1010. I have gotten my gel refill dones by Angela and I have never had any trouble with lifting or bubbling even after a month. My pedicures done by her staff have always been excellent. An important thing to remember is to call to ensure they are able to fit you into their schedule since they are usually busy. I would rather wait for them to have time to fit me in than go to another nail salon. I highly recommend Nails 1010. If you have never been, it definitely doesn't hurt to give them a try. read more

Sorry but cant seem to agree with the other reviewers. I moved to Stouffville recently and based on the reviews I decided give this place a try. Called this morning and made an appointment for the afternoon. I come in right on time and was greeted by the receptionist. They told me to choose a color and I did. I took my time since clearly no one was attending to me, but I didnt expect to have to wait at the door for 10 mins before someone decided to fill up the tub. Mind you, there was only 2 people at the time in a pedicure chair, so it was not full. The ladies that were doing their manicures stared at me a couple of times. At my regular salon even if no one is ready to do my toes yet at least they let me sit and soak my feet first. Nope, not here. When finally I was told to sit in the chair I put my feet in the tub and it was grainy and water was cold. I cant tell if its someone elses dead skin or the scrub that was not rinsed away from a previous client. Either way, that was just disgusting. Sat there for another 5 mins before my pedicurist came but she did apologize. I opted for the extra paraffin treatment since they were doing a promo for $5 extra. Wow $5 sure only lasted 5 mins because another client came and my pedicurist said to her she will be done in 10 mins. She then rushed everything after that and did the color before the base coat even dried. My polish was streaky and my cuticles were colored as well. Didnt even bother to clean it off when she wrapped up. When it came time to pay the receptionist again was busy and on the phone with a client trying to book a time, and I stood there again, waiting. She didn't even raise her head to acknowledge the fact that she knew I was waiting for her. Another client came and waited behind me and that was when she told the person on the phone to hold and swiped my card. It seems as though everyone was "assigned" to an employee here because they knew exactly which desk to sit down at when they came in. It was a busy day but for the 30 mins I sat here I did not see another person waiting in the front for more than a minute before they were greeted. Perhaps others may have had a better experience but for me I think I will stick with Aphrodite nails instead. read more

Came in today for the first time. Like most people I was really looking forward to finally finding a good place to get my nails done that was super close to me. Their personalities were better than most places I've been to, but the reviews are really nothing like what you experience. Didn't really feel welcomed, more like judged. There was another woman who came right after me and seemed to come often and was treated WAY better than I was. My nail technician spent a lot of time on my nails - a total of about 2 hours and a half for a gel manicure so she definitely wasn't rushing me despite this though, my nails were shaped oddly, and uneven even after I corrected her. She never asked actually what shape I wanted, I had to tell her once I noticed she was doing something different out of her own discretion (lol what?). I gave the lady who was doing my nails a picture of what I wanted, and it did not look like the picture in the end. Didn't actually notice until now that I'm home how fucked up they are. Super bubbly, and just not cute. I'm really upset because I gave her a good tip too, thinking she did an okay job plus I felt bad it took like 2 hours to do. I thought maybe she was new but it was really hard to communicate with her since she barely spoke English. In the end my total was $62 she charged an extra $10 for her to do 2 uneven stripes of gold sparkle on my nail. Like wtf?! Definitely would not come back and would not recommend. read more

Very disappointing. Thought I would try this place for a pedicure before buying my 2 daughters and mothers a gift certificate for Mother's Day. Although salon is nice inside the pedicure was the worst I have ever had. Total time for pedicure was half hour.Feet were in warm water for about a minute than started with cuticles, cut toe nails, filed, scratch pad on bottom (not heals), scrub, cream on half leg,painted.Sounds good but was not.Have had many pedicures none which were anything like this one. Your feet normally sit for longer than a minute in warmer water, than cuticle pushed back, trimmed.Toe nails are cut and filed evenly and without corners cut too low on sides.Clean underneath each toe nail, cuticle than cut, good removal of dry skin on bottom of feet and heals, scrub, massage on feet and leg to knees(longer than 30 seconds).Prior to painting nails, feet and toes are again checked for any roughness and cuticles that need extra trimming. Dry feet completely, 2 coats of paint, top coat. NONE OF THE above is what happen, hence my appointment was less than half hour. Charge was $30 plus HST.If you pay cash you get 10% off total amount.Told manager Angela about service only being half hour, and she asked what is normal time and told her an hour. She made no comment. I was ok the chairs where not your normal massage chair when getting a pedicure but to charge the same amount as most places, anyplace else is a million times better than here. Needless to say not only did they loose my business, they also lost future business of a potential 4 other people. Unfortunate my first experience was such but this is not what a pedicure in my experience is like for the same money. read more

Very clean and polite staff... however the Gel Polish does not seem to last. My sister's came off in strips after not quite 2 weeks she went back and paid half price to get it changed and this time stripped off even worse. Price is also a lot higher than any other salon I have been to. $65.00 for gel manicure and pedicure. Will not be going back there. read more
