Although the front desk service is still top notch, this place has high turnover and quality has gone down. In the past year I have gone through 3 stylists, because they keep leaving! I need stability people. Someone who understand my hair and what I like, so I can enjoy my trip to the salon. In the past year I have returned home with a terrible hair cut because none of the 3 hair stylists understood my hair. They didn't have the time to! If you can get a stylist who will stick by you for a few years, then I'm sure Aquilibrium will be a great place to go. However, based on my recent experiences they have turned away a loyal customer. They are rude and all they care about is your money not your hair and have no human decency of how to speak to people on the phone. they scammers there is no option to cancel online your appointment after they receive you deposit they don't answer the phone and then purposely will tell you the manager isn't available so you don't talk to them and you can't cancel your appointment.

The time and day I wanted, there was only a director's cut available, $65 for cut and wash. Let me tell you, best decision I have ever made for myself and my hair. Originally, I wanted to have a "V" shape at the back of my head because I always knew that was what looked best on me. My stylist Joe suggested that I had a wider V, almost like a U instead because of my face shape. I was in awe with the techniques Joe used on my hair and left very happy. But I needed a haircut, called Gatsby and was easy to reserve a spot within that day. I got assigned to a random hairdresser. Lambo was very communicative and open, making sure she understood what I wanted and would ask me about other options/alternatives. Not only that - she knew what she was doing and understood that different hair types require different techniques. It left me with a lot of confidence that I could go to her again in the future and get the cut I want. I'll be going to Gatsby Studio with Lambo from now on whenever possible.
