Mild Tteokbokki, Fried Seaweed Noodle Rolls, and Mozzarella Sticks
    Megan D.

After trying out this spot, I will for sure be making my return. Everything we ordered was delish, and it wasn't an unbearable level of spice. I've been to other Tteok spots and mild was already too much, so this was perfect. We also had an order of garlic chicken wings and those were good as well. Service was good, and there were a lot of seats when I went. I wouldn't say the are plenty of tables, but we went a bit early, so I'm assuming we happened to beat the crowd. I definitely see the restaurant getting packed during peak hours though.

Great pocha-type establishment! This place definitely gives off a fast casual vibe with quick service and upbeat music. It's great for any occasion and open late so it can be good for food after late night events. We got the katsu and army stew and both were great! The katsu was huge! Super crispy and great with the includes curry and katsu sauce. The army stew had a good combination of ingredients and was good for the cold weather. Recommend to those in the area looking for a late night comfort bite!

Came here late after a concert in LA with a group of friends. The venue has a great party ambiance with the lighting and electronic music. I felt like I was ready to party again. The service was fast and to the point. Set A Combo (LD + Tempura Rice Balls) - The rice balls were pretty underwhelming because it had a neutral flavor. Set C Combo (Katsu + LuvDDuk) - I am a fan of their thin katsu. It was well seasoned and had the perfect crunch and crispiness to it.

Great food, super comfort food essentially. Share portions so order sparingly. Absolutely love the chicken katsu

We were sat immediately and the servers were very attentive. The food was fantastic. We got the shrimp fried rice and the bulgogi noodles and also cheese corn. The rice and noodle dishes were very fresh and flavorful. The corn cheese was good but the slice of American cheese in the middle was a little odd. We for sure will go back

The best thing was probably the fried chicken!! The picture on the menu showed pickled veggies which we didn't get /: I also didn't like the ranch with the chicken but it's ok, don't have to use it The service was really good too! Always on top of refilling the water so that was nice. The space is actually quite small and it was busy on a Friday night! Probably waited 20-40 minutes to be seated!

This is a great late night spot if you are craving Korean comfort food, especially tteokbokki. Parking: The restaurant is in a shopping plaza with plenty of free parking. If you're coming here at night, the adjacent businesses are also open late so it feels pretty safe. Food: We ordered the Combo A, which comes with tteokbokki, tempura, and rice balls. It was a good value for two people, with generous portions that left us full and leftovers to take home. The tteokbokki was flavorful, the tempura was crispy, and the rice balls paired well with the spicy sauce. Overall, the food was solid. Service: The staff checked in on us regularly and were nice. One thing I really appreciated is that they are open late, which makes this a great option when many other places are already closed. This is definitely a place I would come back to when the craving for Korean street food hits.

We got: -Combo B: Army Ramen Soup + Rice Balls -Combo D: Luv Dduk & whole Fried chicken with soy garlic & sweet n' spicy sauce -Bulgogi Fries -Terra Beer and Peach Soju (BOGO deal for their happy hour!) Luv Dduk is a cheese-lovers' heaven, and a must-try spot for large groups! They offer cost-effective set menus with satisfying, generous portions that are perfect for sharing. We loved the army ramen soup paired with rice balls, and the tteokbokki set (with ramen noodles) that comes with a whole fried chicken, served with a variety of delicious sauces like soy garlic & sweet n spicy. It is crispy, juicy, and seriously addictive! Their bulgogi fries were so savory and smothered with melted cheese. Everything felt hearty and comforting, making it an ideal place for hangouts or when you're just craving something cheesy and filling!

giant chicken katsu, giant tteokbokki, and beef garlic noodles

I recall being absolutely stuffed after coming here for the first time. I had seen so many TikTok's of this place and I was so excited to come here to try it! I was not disappointed at all. The chicken katsu is so massive and delicious, all crunchy goodness with an amazing side of curry and tonkatsu sauce. The tteokbokki had a nice spicy kick to it and it's perfect paired with the cheese. And the garlic noodles were so garlicky and I love all the onions in them. The lady who took our order was super sweet and the vibe is really nice! They play a lot of K-pop music, which I enjoyed. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy giant portions of food. Expect to take it home with you!

this spot is FIREEEE i ordered teokkbokki, whole fried chicken with sweet & spicy sauce, cheese steamed egg, kimchi fried rice and a bottle of terra beef ofc for the teokkbokki we ordered it with level 2 spice which is the highest spice level and BOI WAS IT SPICY it highkey burned my mouth and my bootyho but it was so fuggin worth the rice cakes were perfectly chewy, lots of fish cake, the cabbage was so crunchy and a perfect bite for relieving the spiciness the cheese steamed egg was yummy! paired perfectly with each bite of spicy teokkbokki the kimchi fried rice was rly tasty too, loved the bits of veggies tossed in there plus the sunny side up egg the whole fried chicken was the star of the show. the fried chicken was so fkn sexy like the crispness... the juiciness... the flavor.. the cronch!! the sweet and spicy sauce was so delicious, i loved dipping my chicken in it! like HOOOO MA GAWD I ATE THAT HOE UPPPPP LICKED MY FINGERS CLEAN TYPE SHI asked for a side of danmooji (korean pickled radish) and it was the perfect side hehe service was great! the servers were fast, attentive and nice ambiance is good for date nights or group hang outs pairing everything with somaek or beer, super fun! they play some crazy ass edm mixes too xD

Luv Dduk is hands down one of the best spots for late-night eats in the area. It's my go-to place whenever I'm craving tteokbokki, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, comforting, and exactly what you want, especially late at night. I also really love their fried chicken--it's crispy, well-seasoned, and pairs perfectly with the rest of the menu. Everything feels indulgent in the best way. I also have a lot of appreciation for them staying open for pickup during COVID. That reliability and consistent service really mattered, and it solidified this place as a true staple for me.

Luv duk People say this place has the best viral Korean pub food. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. I got their corn cheese, boneless cheesling chicken, bulgolgi garlic noodles, and katsu to try. The corn cheese was on the sweeter end, super gooey and cheesy with pops of juicy corn. It was a bit mayoy tho. The boneless cheesling chicken pieces were pretty big, juicy, really crunchy, and was coated in a slightly sweet seasoning that kinda reminded me of the ones you can get on your fries at the mall ya know? The bulgolgi noodles came with some broccoli and onions, and plenty of sweet, tender meat that was perfectly balanced by savory, garlicy, springy noodles. Pure deliciousity. The katsu came with TWO MASSIVE pieces that were legit bigger than my head and were amazingly crispity crunchy, surprisingly juicy, and paired well with the curries that it came with. The yellower one tasted more like your savory classic curry while the brown one tasted kinda like a mix of curry and ketchup? People are nice, Portions are massive, everything is super crispity crunchy. Overall This place is pretty good. Corn cheese $15.99 Cheesling boneless chicken $21.99 Garlic bulgolgi noodles $19.99 Katsu $25.99

Hate to admit it but TikTok was right. This viral place did not disappoint. Luv Dduk is one of the most popular Korean pub restaurants that will always have a crowd of people waiting outside the door. Pro tip: Come between 4-6PM and you can usually get seated right away! We got the combo set B which comes with a ginormous serve of army ramen soup that has sausage, rice cakes, ramen, even cheese, and will feed 3-4 people easy, and rice balls. And what's Korean pub food without kimchi fried rice and stretchy cheesy goodness like jiggly steamed egg topped with cheese? The sweet & spicy chicken wings were definitely the star of the show though, we could not stop talking about how this was our new favorite Korean fried chicken. Thanks for reading! ^-^

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

From the friendly service that made us feel like home, to the delicious food, everything hit the spot. We ordered the cold noodle, seafood pancake, bibambap, and short rib combo. All the dishes were so good! And all the banchan that came with it was the cherry on top. The only negative was the table was kind of small for all the dishes...though that could have been user error with us ordering way too much. Portions were surprisingly big, especially the seafood pancake. The whole time, our littlest one was making a mess and the ladies that worked there did not seem perturbed at all, and kept commenting about how cute he was and interacting with him. This type of service and response made us feel more at ease and able to "enjoy" our meal, and that makes a world of difference. I would recommend! Note the parking lot is a little small.

My mom also tried this place and recommended it, so I felt confident this would be a spot I would be coming often. We ordered the naengmyeon combo with spicy marinated pork and a side of soybean paste stew. The lady was nice when she seated us, but seemed a little bothered when we only ordered the above items, because she coldly asked "if that was all" and we said yes. She walked away then yells back asking if we wanted rice because rice wasn't included, and we said no. Despite the rough start with the vibe of the lady who took our order I was still hopeful the food itself would make up for it. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I've never had naengmyeon that had so much chili flakes, and as someone who doesn't mind them, it was weird. The soybean paste soup was bland. And the side dishes were just okay. After the meal, I got really thirsty and my face was puffy so they are using msg. If it was a good meal, I wouldn't have minded the msg, but for food that was mediocre at best was not worth it. Although I won't be back, I did see people ordering for take out nonstop, so there must be some other dish that is giving them customers.

The place seems to really show its age with the floors really dirty and the wood floors are showing a lot of wear and tear. We got there for an early dinner and the place was empty. The lady seemed tired or just not in a friendly mood. The food was still reasonably priced. Much better than the Tofu Chain's and food as good as I remember. I went with the short rib Tofu soup and it came with two nice size beef short ribs and the meat peeling off the bone. Ban Chan was good but could not eat a few of them because they had bean sprouts in it. Nice to see Chodang doing strong. Hopefully the next time back won't be a 3-4 year gap.

Expect it to be cold in there no matter the day or season - gotta keep you cool when you're eating hot soup! Tables can feel a bit close to each other depending on where you sit. And it does get busy during the usual nights & weekends so expect that. Overall, delicious food with a home cooked feel and good service. I'd say my only gripe is that parking can get busy, but there's plenty of parking throughout the plaza.

If you are from Korea, you will definitely feel at home and experience authentic Korean 'bunsik' here. I would give 10 stars if I could. Don katsu, Tuna, spicy ssam are our goto menu!

The first thing I noticed was how big the menu is -- lots of variety, which I liked. I ended up ordering the keto kimbap, sesame leaf kimbap, and tuna kimbap. The price per roll wasn't exactly cheap, but each one was packed with ingredients, so it felt worth it. The portions were generous too -- I ordered thinking it would be enough for two people, but honestly it could've fed three. The flavors were very clean and well-balanced overall. They also gave me some fish cake soup on the side when I asked, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the wait. It felt like it took about 20 minutes, probably because they were backed up with orders. That said, it seemed like a small, family-run place with just a couple people working, so it wasn't a huge deal. Overall, a really solid experience.

It's a small authentic Korean joint that's family-owned. The ambiance isn't the best but the food definitely makes up for it; it's more of an older generation vibe. They have restrooms while they might not be the best and there's ample parking. The service is welcoming and friendly. Their side dishes are simple and you can ask for more for no charge. The salt and green onions are self-serve. I always get their Seolleongtang or Kong Na Mool Guk Bap and they both come with rice. They both taste great and are often considered a hangover cure. If you want to add noodles, you can choose between white or glass. Near the end of your meal, they give you Sikhye as a little treat. Sikhye is a traditional sweet rice punch. I think this is for dine-in customers only, I'm not sure if they'll pack it for take-out orders. This place is never too packed and it's a great place to dine if you're looking for something light hearty and a warm meal!

The menu on the wall is Korean but the menu itself has English words on it. Love the side dishes - kimchi, seaweed, and radish with the typical unlimited refills. I got the suluntang (dont know how to spell) #1 which is the basic order. It comes with a side of rice and the choice of vermicelli or glass noodle. I love glass noodles so of course I chose that. It's nice because you can add as much or as little salt as you want and the same goes for the green onion. It is such a soothing soup on a cold day and the side dishes make the food very refreshing. Very home-y feeling inside with the aunties working there. Lots of parking since it shares a parking lot with other restaurants/shops/supermarket nearby. I would come back again for a nice warm soup when I am in town.
