Let me just start this by saying that Luv Bridal was my first and only stop in finding my wedding dress. I had two other girlfriends who by chance had both purchased their dresses from the shop as well, so going in I was hopeful and my expectations were completely surpassed! I was paired with Becky and she was so kind and patient and really kept in mind my preferences and budget. I did not feel like I was being pressured at all and she really took the time to make sure I felt my best in everything she selected for me. Some of the options chosen when I tried them on we didn't even show the rest of my party because she could tell by my body language that I didn't love it! She truly showcased a deep knowledge and passion for what she does, and she kept me comfortable knowing I was nervous- it's a big decision! She even took the care to select accessories that paired with the dress I chose. I am over the moon with my selection and the care Becky provided. I had an amazing experience at Luv Bridal. My bridal gown expert (consultant?), Taylor, was not only professional and really knew what she was talking about, but she was also so fun to get to know!!! I felt comfortable throughout the entire process and she did a great job at advocating for me amidst others' opinions, while respecting them as my loved ones. Taylor took her time with me and was patient, but also helped guide me very well. We told her multiple times she deserves a raise (although I'm sure they treat their employees very well). She also respected my price point, so that was cool too! My wedding is in approximately 3.5 months and the original dress I purchased online last year didn't work out, so I knew that timing could significantly narrow down my choices. Although I wasn't able to select just anything from the showroom, there are so many styles, so I actually found MY dress!!!! It's super helpful because they have a great selection and do have some dresses on hand that are available either to take home or to order from the warehouse stateside, which only takes 2.5 weeks to receive. Anyway, I was not expecting to walk out with a dress today and consider myself very particular.... So I am THRILLED and wish I could just wear my wedding dress everywhere now hahaha. Honestly so disappointed with this place and wish I would have gone with my gut and not purchased a dress from here. They are semi friendly when they are wanting the sale, and then the complete opposite after you have purchased. Our first experience was just okay. The sales associate I had seemed very disinterested in the whole process, was not the most helpful, and ended up being pretty pushy toward the end of the appointment. I remember leaving and telling my mom that I wish Schaffers had the dress I wanted because my experience there was so much better. They were kind and seemed genuinely interested to help. Unfortunately Luv had the dress I had been eyeing since I got engaged. Then, I go to pick up my dress and my sales consultant seemed like she was in a shit mood, and asked "do you want to try on your dress." I feel like I don't have to say much there. The tone was definitely that it would be an inconvenience for her. Then, my dress was dirty on top! She nonchalantly told me that it's because it was hung up on a dirty hanger and she would get me a new hanger. No accountability or apologies were given. I am non-confrontational, but I really wish I would have said something. I feel stupid for buying from this place, especially because my dress was so expensive. If I could do it all over again, I would travel however far I needed to get the dress I wanted elsewhere. I will say some of the other sales girls seemed bubbly and friendly, so maybe read the reviews and ask for one of the girls mentioned. read more

About my journey: Luv Bridal was extremely helpful, I started my search there, went to other stores, and then came back because they were able to import my dream dress from LA! I am so thankful for Brianna's help and dedication. I'm extremely excited to get my dress. BTW the pricing is really great, and the showroom is really pretty. The Showroom: The showroom is quite light and airy, it's easy to look at each dress and it's not overwhelming like some other places I visited. There's a lot of natural sunlight coming through the windows so you can easily tell between the different types of whites. The Dresses: They have a ton to choose from in different price ranges. The dress that I selected had to be imported from LA to try and they were very happy to help me make my dreams come true. I recommend checking out their website, there might be a dress that you love available in a different location. However, I think you will find at least three that you love that are available for you at the store. I have a top three list that I loved. Accessories: I wish they had more accessories, I would have loved to try on different types of veils and items to see what looked best with the dress. It would have been nice to buy everything together but that's okay, I will just have to hunt around a bit more. Overall Experience: I love this store and I am very excited to pick up my dress later this year! I will post updates after I pick up my dress and have my wedding. What a beautiful bridal shop! As Maid of Honor, I had the privilege of helping my friend shop for her wedding dress here and it was such a lovely experience. Dresses were nicely organized and there weren't too many on a rack where it was overwhelming. Decor was super feminine and cute. Love that they have upbeat music playing to set a fun, relaxing vibe. Lots of couches and comfy chairs face a walkway from the dressing room to a stage with mirrors to give a dramatic first look experience. Customer service was wonderful and our assistant let us stay longer than we were originally scheduled which was super duper nice. This is a beautiful bridal shop however after purchasing my dress I wasn't 100% sold on the dress I got but felt pressured to get the dress by the stylist. I was having 2nd thoughts on my choice so I immediately called back to come try on the bought dress and the other dress I loved! My stylist seemed annoyed at me for having 2nd thoughts. I ended up staying with the original dress I said yes too. But when I went to pick up my dress my original stylist didn't speak to me until I went up to her and my dress was in this odd dress bag that "tied shut" but was basically still open. So the dress literally isn't protected at all. When I got to my sisters house to drop it off we wanted to open the bag to see the dress and the ties completely came off so now the bag doesn't shut at all. I'm disappointed with my experience and the dress bag I received especially after seeing another girl picking up a dress with a luxury black zip bag That says LUV bridal. I spent over 3,000 dollars on my dress so I didn't expect to have such a cheap dress bag that doesn't close completely. With all this being said be very honest with how you feel about the dresses your trying on and be stern with how you feel so your not being pressured into buying something you don't love, these stylists seem to only care about the commissions they make and make sure to ask for a luxury bag after purchasing your dress. These dresses are not cheap so being in a protective dress bag is so important! read more

I will start by saying, I was never the girl who dreamed about their wedding dress from a young age. Although I was very excited to try on dresses and spend the day with my crew, I had low expectations. Luv exceeded those expectations. My stylist, Kendra, was really what made my day so special. I am 50 years old and honestly when I waled into Luv Bridal I almost walked out after I saw the stages set up to show off the dresses to my guests. Sadly, I saw the dress shopping as a necessary evil for my wedding. Kind of like shopping for a bathing suit. I knew that If I left, they would charge me $50 USD for missing my appointment and I was very willing to do that. I wanted anonymity. So I was just grabbing my purse when the sales lady walked up. Taylor was a lovely young lady and asked me about details of what I wanted and my wedding. I thought I would quickly get rid of her by telling her that my wedding was in less than 2 months and my budget was under $1,000. I was waiting for her to say, that it was impossible. I also said, I'm not thrilled about my big chest and I don't want to show my back ... remember, I'm 50 years old. She asked me to look at the dresses on the racks in the front lobby area. She told me which racks that had the designers that would be in my price range. She said, "Just pick out some that you like, then I will have an idea of what you are looking for" She then went in the back and picked out 6 dresses that were in my price range and also fit my criteria. She also through in a couple choices that didn't exactly fit what a I was asking for, but that she felt would get me the look I wanted. NOT showing off the "girls". I also said I didn't want to go walk out on the "stage with all the mirrors" she let me and my only guest, my daughter, stay in the back in the dressing room. She was kind and patient. And in the end, the dress that I would have NEVER picked out for myself was the winner. So super kudos to Taylor, she was lovely and efficient and made me feel beautiful. read more

Very pretty store with nice-ish employees. However, it seemed to me and my friend who came with me that they were pulling a bait and switch on us. As seen in the photo I posted, their website advertised "every dress $799-$1,499." I was surprised when I arrived and was told there was nothing for $800. It wasn't even as if they had already sold out of the $799 dresses by the time I got there. They made it sound like they never offer dresses for that price. I was allowed to look at their sale rack, and the lowest price on those dresses that I saw was $999. I'm not really interested in dropping $1,000 on a dress I'll wear for one day, so I did not try anything on. Also, if you are shopping around and wonder if the quality of these dresses is superior to David's Bridal, I will say that to my untrained non-seamstress eye, the quality appeared the same although the designs are of course different. read more

I went to two other bridal shops before my appointment at Luv Bridal and immediately found my dress (it was on a mannequin in the window waiting for me). One thing I really liked about their selection is that it's all made to order and every dress can be completely customized. If you want sleeves, they can do it. Need a fancy hemline? No problem. They do sell gowns off the rack which is a good option for budget conscious brides. If you're flexible and open minded, this can be a great way to save on your dress!
