Well our last one will be married off soon so time to shop for the dress!! She selected this as one of her locations based on their story of the sale of dresses going to charities supporting women. What a fantastic cause. As this was her first shop and trying on dresses for the first time; she didn't feel comfortable making a selection quite yet, although she was tempted. They were not pushy or putting pressure on her, nor would they hold a dress for 24 hours either. It's a good way to find a quality dress and save a little money along the way. read more

From the moment we walked in, it was such a welcoming experience. The entire staff was kind, easygoing, and genuinely made us feel comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was that they allowed us to browse on our own and pull any dresses that caught my eye. There was never any pressure, and it made the experience feel relaxed and fun. Once I had a few favorites, they helped me narrow them down while still giving us plenty of space and privacy to talk everything through. What stood out most was how much they paid attention to each bride. I always felt like the experience was in my hands, but I also felt completely supported by their knowledge and expertise. They knew exactly when to offer guidance, answer questions, point out details I hadn't noticed, and explain how alterations could transform each dress. Everyone was incredibly patient, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have us there. You could truly feel that they wanted you to enjoy the experience, take your time, and find the dress that was right for you. A huge shoutout to Taryn for being the perfect person to guide us through such a special experience. I ended up torn between two dresses, so we went well over our appointment time. Not once did I feel rushed. Instead, Taryn was so patient, encouraging, and genuinely wanted me to take my time and find the dress. That meant so much to me. I left feeling so happy, and it's a memory I'll always cherish. Thank you to Brides for a Cause in Phoenix for making dress shopping such a wonderful experience and Taryn!! And for my fellow savvy brides--if you're looking for a gorgeous dress at an amazing price, this is the place. Their selection is beautiful, and the value is incredible. 10/10 would absolutely recommend! read more

Amazing service and great selection of dresses! They were super affordable and they helped adjust my dress for me when I was trying it on.

I hadn't heard of this shop until recently! This shop has such an amazing selection for only selling donated items. This was our second stop and we were lucky enough to find the one. The prices were incredible. If I hadn't found it I definitely would have been back to try again. There was no pressure at all to purchase, but once I did it felt great to know so much was going back into our community. If you're starting your search, start here!! read more

Brides for a Cause was truly the most amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, it felt incredibly personal like they genuinely cared about me and my vision, not just making a sale. The team was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. Also a huge plus for all types of budgets, they had the most versatile in origin and selections and the dresses actually looked and felt like wedding dresses not some cheap material that can be found and mass produced. What stood out the most was how comfortable the experience felt. There was zero pressure to make a decision, no pushy sales tactics, and absolutely none of that being sold a car feeling that can happen at other bridal shops. Instead, I felt supported, listened to, and encouraged to take my time. If you're looking for a place that combines expertise, kindness, and an amazing team that truly has your best interest at heart, I can't recommend Brides for a Cause enough. I found my wedding dress here, and I'll always be grateful for such a special experience ‍ read more

Great selection!! Our daughter found the perfect dress for her outdoor wedding in Sedona! And it was brand new with tags for only $300!

Beautiful selection of very affordable and quality dresses and staff is very helpful and kind. The very first dress my daughter tried on was THE ONE! Couldn't believe it! Best part is proceeds support various local and national women focused charities. Highly recommend! read more

The shop is small and cute. The ladies who work there are kind and helpful. They say to only bring 3 people but I emailed to ask to bring a 4th and they said yes. I found my dress right away. They helped with clipping the dress with what alterations I would like for my dress. They helped bring extra dresses to try on. They gave me a goodie bag and list of vendors for alterations and other things. I spent around what I would have liked for a dress. read more

This was the third dress shop I visited. While I loved a dress at a previous bridal shop, I just couldn't justify spending $1,000 on a gown. This shop was absolutely perfect--an amazing selection, very reasonable prices, and the added bonus of supporting a great charity. Brittany was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, which made the entire experience even better. I would definitely recommend coming here first ! She gave me recommendations on what to share with the seamstress for my alterations and even wrote it all down. I found my dress and I love it. read more

My daughter and I went to several high end boutique wedding dress stores and none of them were nearly as fun or had nearly as excellent of a collection as Brides for a Cause. The staff make the experience so much fun, make sure to ask for Taryn because she is so talented and knowledgeable and sweet. The prices were outstanding, you're paying hundreds of dollars for dresses that were originally thousands and the quality and selection is really impressive. The atmosphere is really casual and fun and there's no pressure from the staff to get you to buy a dress, they just want to help you find something you really love. read more

I stumbled across this shop thru a photographer's instagram. I instantly loved the shop's mission and what they stood for. I had my first ever dress shopping experience here and they really set the bar for any other bridal shops. Brittany was such a tremendous help and honestly made me feel like I had a friend guiding me through the process. If you're looking for a very budget friendly place that won't pressure you into making an impulsive purchase, this is THE spot to go to. read more

I just bought my dress from here yesterday! I am excited. There were so many options. To top it all off, they donate to organizations that help women in our communities. ALSO, it was just so fun. Thank you so much, Taryn! read more

The store was really nice and had a good selection of dresses that were well priced. I felt rushed through my appointment and they reminded me I only had an hour for my appointment. No one was readily available to help zip or to clip me into the dress. My sister went to get someone multiple times and I asked my sister to zip me in and then someone came to help and just watched her try to do it and then I asked if she could take over. I didn't want to take any risks with damaging any of the dresses so I would rather the women that do this more often help zip me up. I understand appointments are an hour long but if want a bride to stay within that time frame, then maybe help them with their dresses to be more time efficient? All the other wedding dress stores I've been to, I've always had someone be readily available to help zip me up, clip excess fabric and help me out of the dress. I hope they take this into consideration when a bride is looking for her dress for her special day. Overall, it's a good store with lots of variety. I did end up purchasing a dress there myself at 50% off so I was glad I was able to find something that was budget friendly. read more

I loved my experience at Brides for a Cause. The dresses are beautiful, the prices are great, and the staff is genuinely delightful and helpful. There's no pressure -- just honest, thoughtful input. I even went two weekends in a row, and it was absolutely worth the drive from Gilbert. After visiting several other stores, I kept thinking about how wonderful this place was. Dress prices elsewhere are ridiculous, and nothing compared to the experience here. I highly recommend it. I also have to say that Brittany was amazing to work with -- we even hugged when I left. Truly a beautiful experience. Thank you for making this special time even more special. read more
