I am quite satisfied finding this place. The area doesn't feel like being in a regular thrift store. I didn't look for something in particular but ended up buying a lot of things. There is also coffee station where can get low price beverage. I would recommend to visit while in Phoenix. Very nice store. It supports at risk families and teens that age out of foster care. It has nice clothing in there and nice furniture and nice shoes. Located on Camelback, S side of road, across from the BMW dealership. Parking lot is somewhat small and has limited parking spots. I'm talking 12 or so. Shop entrance to the East takes you directly into the coffee shop portion of this business. The door on West side takes you through some of the items in the front on the thrift store, but you will need to meander through coffee shop to get I side where the majority of the offerings are displayed. There's a good variety of items available here and it's nicely displayed inside the shop. Furniture, clothing, toys, luggage, kitchen items, purses, decorative items, athletic equipment, and even more. When I was there to pick up some furniture I even spied a set of steel forearm crutches inside and assorted patio collections, exercise equipments, brass and cast iron bed frames, bicycles, and even more items outside the store. I will say it was challenging to reach the store when calling. There is limited staff, bit they are quite helpful and have been very friendly with each visit and transaction. From purchases to helping to load large items, they were not hesitant in lending a hand. We had already had our coffee on the initial visit so I can't offer any feedback on what they pour. The shop itself is inviting and seems well designed to encourage shoppers to sit and visit a while. read more

Stopped in here to see the setup after seeing this establishment on a news channel while flicking through channels. I was interested due to thinking how cool it was, that they have a coffee shop inside. First, I noticed that, The parking lot, is small and hard to get in and out of. Upon entry the staff at the coffee shop were all nice and welcoming! Unfortunately, the place smelled horrible which was a total turn off for me, because you'd think that the coffee shop smell would take over, however, it did not!!! I have to be honest, I wasn't at all impressed with this establishment seeing it in person. The smell really did a number on me sadly!!! I think that, if it were a bit more organized and smelled better than I would've been impressed because the concept is awesome!!! Also I suggest adding more lighting inside, as it's not very well lit!!! Only my opinion and feedback. I've recently gotten into thrifting and couldn't wait to check this place out. It's quite organized- especially the clothing section. There are 2 dressing rooms to try things on. I found a few good items here and feel things are decently priced. They do a special of 50% off on certain color tags that day. I love the coffee shop in the front and can't wait to come back and try something (I came mid day so too late for caffeine for me) The guy who helped me out was super friendly and welcoming. He explained the mission behind this store- helping foster kids who have been removed from their homes, supporting reunification, and helping those who age out. I learned this is Thrive AZ's non profit thrift store that provides hope and resources for at risk families. Shopping here is a great way to help families in need. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice the store is. The store is very well organized. They have everything from clothes, shoes, furniture, houseware, artwork, and supplies. The prices are so reasonable. I found myself telling hubby what a ripoff Goodwill is. Merchandise here is definitely much nicer and the prices are also so much lower than Goodwill, not to mention all profits go to a great cause! When you walk in, there is also a nice large coffee shop- Grounds to Thrive, with a great sitting area. The prices are very reasonable too. read more

Thrift to Thrive is probably my favorite thrift store in the area. I don't think I've left empty handed once, and their items are very reasonably priced. Great for pieces you may only wear 1-2x (a "flapper style" black sequin dress as example) or for staple items like casual tees, jeans or ankle booties. The employees are also super friendly, especially the younger blonde gal that was at the register last time I visited a few weeks ago. They also have home decor, furniture, jewelry etc. and a cute little coffee shop in the front when you walk in. Not the biggest parking lot but I've always been able to sneak in a spot. read more

We were visiting family in Phoenix and looking for spot to thrift. Found this gem with an amazing selection of books, clothes and home goods/furnishings. The employees were telling us about how the proceeds help transitional housing and classes for youth in group homes exiting transitioning to independent living. They provide housing, life skills classes and furnishings to young people getting a start on their lives. Great mission, great work and amazing store. read more

My husband insisted we stop here as it was on my wish list for this visit to Phoenix. It's got three of my favorite things: coffee, thrift shopping, and helping the community! The space is very spacious, welcoming, and clean. The parking lot has some BEAUTIFUL art on the concrete buildings. There is parking in front and back. They have a large patio out front (though it was too cold to sit outside during our visit). The staff hollered to greet us from the coffee bar as we entered the building. They had two baristas working. My husband ordered a lemonade and I ordered a cherry cold brew. They were both DELICIOUS! The coffee made me happy...then I went shopping. :) The two people working in the thrift shop were lovely to chat with. You can tell they have passion for the work they do. While the thrift shop didn't have much for us this visit, I'd definitely be checking this spot out often if we lived in the area. Today was thrift to thrive's grand opening and I was so ready to check it out! Two of my fave things in one, thrifting and coffee shops! Also absolutely love that they are charitable as well, their proceeds go to beds for youth and teens. For the first day they had free drip coffee if you showed them a certain Instagram post, I got an iced one with vanilla. I loved looking around the shop, and a lot of what they have is extremely affordable. I didn't get anything this time, but I will definitely be back again. Love this thrift store. So clean, well-lit, and organized. Great prices too! And, it benefits our immediate community! I visit at least once a month. The only negative experience I have had here has been with the donation coordinator. They want you to justify everything for them to pick items up including pictures! From what she told me, if they don't like the pictures, they won't come. I have a bunch of items from a multi million dollar paradise valley estate I was hoping they would come get, so I didn't have to deal with movers or taking photos or waiting for people from online marketplaces. I ended up donating it to white dove where they were able to come get it all. I would have rather given it to thrift to thrive (because of how much i believe in their mission) but the donation coordinator made it too hard to get them out here. read more

I wasn't pleased with the options but was told that because of tik tok they were almost sold out. So I want to think the options left were because of that. The coffee itself wasn't that good. Not sure if it is just because I love to taste the coffee but this one tasted bitter and not very strong. The staff was all very friendly and they did have other options other than coffee. It definitely is a vibe and you can come here and chill or shop. Hopefully they start to offer more items and we will give them another try in the future. read more

Came here with my friend as my new coffee shop to try of the week. It did not disappoint. I loved the concept of supporting local by selling coffee and in turn having it go back to the thrift store that helps the community. I was able to bring in items to donate too which was awesome. I read about this place while looking for a place to donate items to help aged out foster kids. I was so happy to find this place. They help all those teenagers who age out of the foster care system at 18. As adults, we all know that 18 is not an age we would consider anybody an adult, but that's the law.
