We have passed by Thrift to Thrive many times and always remarked that we needed to stop in one…read moreday. The day finally came last weekend, but we left feeling somewhat disappointed! I was initially taken aback by the entry of the shop. They had a coffee shop and a large sitting area. I also saw stairs, so I assumed this would be a multi-level thrifting experience. We moseyed around the area just past the coffee shop and found lots and lots of glassware. Dare I say too much glassware? The linens and trinkets sections were disheveled with a handful of visibly broken items sitting on the shelves. The main area of the shop was more visually pleasing and was a bit more organized, but we remained underwhelmed. The biggest disappointment, however, was that the upstairs was restricted to employee access only. We were so disappointed that there weren't more thrifty treasures to be uncovered. The exterior of this shop was deceiving as we thought it would be massive, but it was actually quite small. Bummer!

The clothes and tchotchkes are well-organized and fun to go through, and there is a lot to look at even though the store looks tiny from the front. Size range is good too - I'm L/XL and there were plenty of choices. Things were in great condition overall and less worn than chain thrift stores. My kid found a great blouse and a skirt, and I know we'll be back!

I'm a 70's baby & my gosh so many memories flooded back to me as I was browsing through the store! Everything is well organized & they've put it all into different departments so to speak, they even color coordinated the clothes which you very rarely see in these kinds of stores! Once I finished browsing through the clothes I realized there's a whole other section with housewares & such! On the other side of the store you'll find the housewares such as Pyrex, vintage cocktail stirrers... maybe in the mood for some classic cocktails, they have a bartenders guide! They also have a great selection of mid century lamps for a fraction of the price of what you'd pay for brand new in 2025... personally I prefer vintage or antique over new! I ended up leaving with a toy metal train to put in my Christmas display but my gosh the selection to choose from was amazing & such good quality for being vintage! The store is clean and well organized and not crammed full of items. The prices are very reasonable and there are things on sale every day. It is evident that they select the very best of things to sell because it is supporting a great cause. It will be my go to place to buy stuff and donate things. One of the things that will keep me coming back besides the great selection of stuff you never knew you needed and that it supports the Hospice of the Valley, is the manager and the people who work there. So I parked again and checked them out and it was just what I was looking for. A really wide range of goods, even including some pet supplies, sporting goods, and vintage camera equipment. I bought a set of drink coasters for $5 that "Ross" said was $6 new at some other store, and was probably $5 or less at Ross, but I like them anyway. Staff was polite and friendly, and everything in the store I saw was in good shape. Actually, though I didn't need any clothes, the clothing looked especially nice. It just had a rank smell but probably from the cliente? Idk. I only found a books to purchase so not really a successful visit. The racks in the back of the store were pretty sloppy too. They had nice fleece there too, thick n warm. Prob cuz it's summer now so that stuff isn't bought up. They had a lot of jeans in all sizes but not so much colored pants. I'm looking for a volunteer work outfit, khaki pants and polo. The prices were cheap there, many things $5- $8 dollars. Rare for goodwill since they almost double triple prices. It's worth a stop in
