We have passed by Thrift to Thrive many times and always remarked that we needed to stop in one…read moreday. The day finally came last weekend, but we left feeling somewhat disappointed! I was initially taken aback by the entry of the shop. They had a coffee shop and a large sitting area. I also saw stairs, so I assumed this would be a multi-level thrifting experience. We moseyed around the area just past the coffee shop and found lots and lots of glassware. Dare I say too much glassware? The linens and trinkets sections were disheveled with a handful of visibly broken items sitting on the shelves. The main area of the shop was more visually pleasing and was a bit more organized, but we remained underwhelmed. The biggest disappointment, however, was that the upstairs was restricted to employee access only. We were so disappointed that there weren't more thrifty treasures to be uncovered. The exterior of this shop was deceiving as we thought it would be massive, but it was actually quite small. Bummer!

The clothes and tchotchkes are well-organized and fun to go through, and there is a lot to look at even though the store looks tiny from the front. Size range is good too - I'm L/XL and there were plenty of choices. Things were in great condition overall and less worn than chain thrift stores. My kid found a great blouse and a skirt, and I know we'll be back!

I dislike shopping in general, but I do like to thrift every now and again. I was driving by anyway that day so I stopped in. At first I was very confused on how they had the clothes organized but once I figured it out it was okay, inefficient, but okay. I found a few things to take home. A great book and a cute necklace. They have a dollar rack but nothing of interest to me and mostly kids clothes. It is a nice store. The proceeds goes to kids at local schools so it is a great cause. The staff, or perhaps they are volunteers, were very friendly and helpful. They play great music. haha! Prices are higher than most other stores but quality items like Chicos and other high brand names. Wednesdays they offer senior discounts, I would go back. I bought a set of drink coasters for $5 that "Ross" said was $6 new at some other store, and was probably $5 or less at Ross, but I like them anyway. Staff was polite and friendly, and everything in the store I saw was in good shape. Actually, though I didn't need any clothes, the clothing looked especially nice. This Goodwill is large and well-stocked, shelves are piled up and stacked with merchandise. I found a Hoover Windtunnel self-propelled vacccum cleaner, but it had a price tag of $39.49, shocking! It was missing all the extension wands, and all the attachments and every part that came with it, which is not usual, when I find this vac at thrift shops. I buy this vac often at thrift shops, and it is never more than $12.49. The other Vacs were $12.49. Manager took the $39.49 price tag off the vac, which came off so easily it was obviously someone stuck it on there from another piece of merchandise. Manager said she would sell it to me for $12.49. She also told me that there is a 20% coupon if you buy $20+ stuff. So I found more to buy, but it took me over an hour to find things to make up the difference. The cashier got the 20% off coupon to appear on my phone, cos she knew how to get there real quick. You can use the 20% off coupon once a day, but remember you have to buy $20 minimum! This store has many things that do not have prices. You bring them to the front and eventually, someone will come and price it. This day, the 50% off color was pink, but almost nothing was pink. It is mostly orange and blue tags. If it weren't for the many things that do not have prices and the trouble and waiting time it takes to GET prices, I would have given this store 5 stars.

It just had a rank smell but probably from the cliente? Idk. I only found a books to purchase so not really a successful visit. The racks in the back of the store were pretty sloppy too. It's always disorganized but this was just over the top sloppy and wild. I took pics to show what I'm referring to. Their books are also a bit higher than other goodwills I've visited.
