This is a beautiful bridal shop however after purchasing my dress I wasn't 100% sold on the dress I got but felt pressured to get the dress by the stylist. I was having 2nd thoughts on my choice so I immediately called back to come try on the bought dress and the other dress I loved! My stylist seemed annoyed at me for having 2nd thoughts. I ended up staying with the original dress I said yes too. But when I went to pick up my dress my original stylist didn't speak to me until I went up to her and my dress was in this odd dress bag that "tied shut" but was basically still open. So the dress literally isn't protected at all. When I got to my sisters house to drop it off we wanted to open the bag to see the dress and the ties completely came off so now the bag doesn't shut at all. I'm disappointed with my experience and the dress bag I received especially after seeing another girl picking up a dress with a luxury black zip bag That says LUV bridal. I spent over 3,000 dollars on my dress so I didn't expect to have such a cheap dress bag that doesn't close completely. With all this being said be very honest with how you feel about the dresses your trying on and be stern with how you feel so your not being pressured into buying something you don't love, these stylists seem to only care about the commissions they make and make sure to ask for a luxury bag after purchasing your dress. These dresses are not cheap so being in a protective dress bag is so important! read more

I went in not really knowing what I envisioned for my wedding dress. Markell was the member I was paired with and I am so grateful. She was so patient. I didn't find my dress here but I had a really great experience visiting the boutique and working with their employees! LUV is a super nice store in downtown Phoenix and showcases high quality gowns. One thing I really liked about their selection is that it's all made to order and every dress can be completely customized. If you want sleeves, they can do it. Need a fancy hemline? No problem. They do sell gowns off the rack which is a good option for budget conscious brides. If you're flexible and open minded, this can be a great way to save on your dress! I will start by saying, I was never the girl who dreamed about their wedding dress from a young age. Although I was very excited to try on dresses and spend the day with my crew, I had low expectations. Luv exceeded those expectations. My stylist, Kendra, was really what made my day so special. I think there was a small mix up, and I was originally supposed to be paired with someone else, but I am so happy with the way things turned out. I am 50 years old and honestly when I waled into Luv Bridal I almost walked out after I saw the stages set up to show off the dresses to my guests. Sadly, I saw the dress shopping as a necessary evil for my wedding. Kind of like shopping for a bathing suit. I knew that If I left, they would charge me $50 USD for missing my appointment and I was very willing to do that. I wanted anonymity. So I was just grabbing my purse when the sales lady walked up. Taylor was a lovely young lady and asked me about details of what I wanted and my wedding. I thought I would quickly get rid of her by telling her that my wedding was in less than 2 months and my budget was under $1,000. I was waiting for her to say, that it was impossible. I also said, I'm not thrilled about my big chest and I don't want to show my back ... remember, I'm 50 years old. She asked me to look at the dresses on the racks in the front lobby area. She told me which racks that had the designers that would be in my price range. She said, "Just pick out some that you like, then I will have an idea of what you are looking for" She then went in the back and picked out 6 dresses that were in my price range and also fit my criteria. She also through in a couple choices that didn't exactly fit what a I was asking for, but that she felt would get me the look I wanted. NOT showing off the "girls". I also said I didn't want to go walk out on the "stage with all the mirrors" she let me and my only guest, my daughter, stay in the back in the dressing room. She was kind and patient. And in the end, the dress that I would have NEVER picked out for myself was the winner. So super kudos to Taylor, she was lovely and efficient and made me feel beautiful. read more

Cerina was AMAZING!!! she is such a sweetheart and did an excellent job of helping me pick out and try on different styles of dresses until we were able to narrow down what my style was! I knew the moment that I walked into this store that my wedding dress was in there. The staff was beyond exceptional! I was lucky enough to work Michelle, who was simply amazing. She is honest, attentive, & simply wonderful. She made me laugh and feel super comfortable the entire process. My friend's polaroid camera malfunctioned, the entire team came together to help us fix it. The cutie with the pink hair (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name!) ran to the back & brought out batteries to make sure we could get the best possible pictures to have for memories! Not only is the entire team amazing, but super cautious! Everyone wore masks the entire time & made sure to keep the groups a safe distance apart. Not once did I feel unsafe to be wedding dress shopping at Luv Bridal. They make sure to keep everyone safe while making sure you have the best possible experience. I felt bullied into buying my wedding dress there. I told the associate I needed to think it over as it didn't feel like the "one" and she kept pushing and pushing til I finally just said yes. Then after a couple days of thinking I had the courage to call and ask to return in. They told me no sorry you bought it and signed the no return policy. I explained my situation and they still said no. For someone selling wedding dresses they should understand the wedding dress is one of the most important parts of the bride's day! I honestly cannot say enough about Luv Bridal, especially our stylist Sydney! I first visited at the end of September with my mom and her best friend. They were visiting from Ohio and I surprised them by booking a couple of appointments to go look at dresses. Luv was the first place that I visited, so I wasn't 100% sure of what I was looking for, but had some inspiration photos and was open to trying anything. One of the things I appreciated the most, as a plus size bride, was that I could literally pick any dress off of the rack that I like and they had my size in the back for me to try on. I'm around a bridal size 20 and it was such a relief to not have to worry about a dress being too small and trying to squeeze into it to visualize what it would look like. The second thing I appreciated the most was Sydney's approach to our appointment. She was very understanding that it was my first appointment and did not at all try to push me to make a decision in that 90 minute appointment. We were quickly able to narrow it down to a style that I liked and then ended up actually finding the dress I would later order. Because of her demeanor and approach, I specifically called and booked a follow up appointment with her for this past weekend (11/8). We pulled a couple other dresses in a similar style and then tried on my favorite from my first appointment. As soon as I put it on, it was a definite YES! :) I was also pleased to see that they had a wide variety in style and prices of dresses. If I could give this a 10 star I would, we had such an amazing experience at Luv. I called last weekend to see how they handled the dress process as we had a terrible experience at another local store. From the first interaction with the rep on the phone to the moment we stepped in their today to when we left the team was phenomenal! We had Sarah as our consultant, she took her time with our bride to understand what it was she was looking for in her perfect dress. She listened to the things Hunter loved and didn't love, and with each dress those things were taken into consideration. If a dress wasn't ivory she took the time to put ivory panel under the toole so we could envision what it looked like. Sarah went above and beyond and genuinely had Hunters best interest at heart, even when the moms (yes I am one of them) wanted to change the direction Sarah respectfully said no as she didn't think it was in line with what Hunter wanted. And let's be honest at the end of day that's what mattered, it should be about the bride! I was so impressed overall I spoke with the manager. Should add that the showroom was beautiful and although a few reviews state their selection is limited we felt the opposite. It was the cleanest showroom, easy to find stuff and they must have a good selection in the back as well. Again - this is a 10 star review in my opinion! read more

Brenna was the person helping me and she was such a sweetheart and made the experience so special. She took her time to allow me to try on a variety of dresses, shoot I even tried on a couple multiple times. They had such a diverse range of dresses it made wedding dress shopping fun. I also had family teleconferencing in because they were not in town to see the live viewing and everyone was so accommodating. This was the one hiccup in wedding planning, everything else has been absolutely amazing! Would not recommend buying from here, it was very stressful and frustrating, even cried in the store. Had the best time with Marley and found my dress. Ordered the dress and it came in 10 days. After ordering Marley left the store and I worked with 8 other people. When the dress came in 10 days the straps felt very tight, the women helping me asked if I loved it and I mentioned the straps being too tight, she said they'll fix with alterations. I left the store unhappy, went back and when the straps were measured they were 2 different lengths and not the correct lengths. Luv ordered another dress came in 3 months, when I went for alterations I asked if the layers could be pulled down, she said they were and it was very bunchy. I left and showed photos to family and they said that's not right, I called luv to ask if I could come back in, they said I must've had a different angle because they didn't see any bunching. I went back in and bunching wasn't completely fixed and cried in the store. They kept asking how they could help, I asked to order a size down (which is what I originally wanted but took their advice) but they would have to send back the dress and it was too close to the wedding date. They kept asking how they can help without giving me any options. Such a frustrating experience and felt like I didn't matter after the transaction. Recommend not paying in full if you do decide to go here! There are too many other places in Phoenix and Scottsdale I would recommend going to first! read more

I want to start out giving credit to Kendra, who I was very lucky to have been paired with as a stylist. She was personable not only to me but to the family I brought along. She listened to my vision, found dresses that matched that perfectly and also incorporated dresses that had components that I loved. It was apparent that she has the entire inventory memorized and not only listens to the client but also finds styles they didn't even know they would love. When it was time to put on THE dress, she made me feel comfortable, beautiful and special. Everything a bride would want! I said "yes to the dress", and cannot wait to pick up my dress and wear it on my special day. I went to get my measurements and purchase my dress on a Saturday, which was rather busy. My initial appointment was on a Friday afternoon, so if you are able to schedule your appointment during the week I highly recommend it. The shop was quieter and it felt more intimate.
