    Italian Chicken Melt Panini
    Hannah B.

Good, simple food made by nice people. I got the italian chicken panini and enjoyed it. The sandwich was a good size and filled me up without leaving me stuffed. I liked that they served it with a pickle. I will replace the sun dried tomatoes with fresh tomatoes if I remember to next time I go. Just personal preference.

It was too late but I got the chicken club and it was amazing!

This place was so good! I had to get a few sandwiches to go. Will definitely make it back over here.

This was a random find and well worth it. We were in a large vehicle and finding a place to pit stop was easy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thankfully, they also have clean restrooms![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a large selection of sandwiches and wraps to choose from. I enjoyed the veggie sandwich. Great for breakfast and lunch. Also, it's always nice to support small businesses with a family atmosphere.

Came in today and got the lunch combo! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside had lots of seating and no wait to order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was efficient and helpful! And the sandwich was very good. Got the lunch combo which includes sandwich/chips/drink and it came out to $13 and change. Would recommend anyone looking for a yummy sandwich!

If you're in the mood for a filling & delicious sandwich than this is the spot for you! This little hidden gem is the real deal. They are flavorful and my sandwich is always perfect! They have desserts and sides that are very tasty too. Not only is the food delicious but the treatment of the customer is superb. Always feel welcomed when we come here .

A friend and I met here for lunch before a work meeting. It was our first time there. Luckily we got in just before the lunch rush at 12. The food was great! I swear, this was the best sandwich I've had since moving to AZ 3 years ago. The ambiance was just as expected for a cute lunch break sandwich shop. It got crowded quickly but we didn't feel rushed by it. Definitely will be a stop for me every time I have afternoon meetings at our main office moving forward. Also, get the cheesecake, it was so yummy!

Gimme a break, Gimme a break, Break me off a piece of that...pa-NI-NI bread? Lunch break is my quick fix when I'm in the office and the hanger starts to set in around 10:30-11:00ish. It's open early (7am) so I don't have to wait if I have skipped breakfast either. Now that's sweet. Especially when I'm super agitated and about to break someone off something proper-like, ya know?! Ha ha! It's mostly a sandwich joint, but they also serve breakfast and salads too. I've been all about their Reuben sandwich and their buffalo chicken wrap lately. Both are made to order, and if I ask for extra thousand island or sauce, they never seem to up-charge me, which is always appreciated! The folks that run this little business on Roeser Road are very sweet and you can tell it's a family operation. It's located just off the beaten path, but near enough to my office that I'm hardly missed when I have take a quick break. Overall, their portions are decent, it's clean and bright, and the food is fresh, so it's easy for me to feel good about supporting this establishment! Heck, I'll probably see you there on my next break!

Not what we expected. It is within the industrial area. The food was just the same as any other typical deli places.

Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The deli offers an impressive variety of hot foods. The sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic, and there are plenty of pasta dishes and traditional Italian entrées available as well. We didn't order a hot meal on this visit, but we'll definitely be back to try one. The market section is also worth browsing. They carry a wide selection of pastas, sauces, olive oils, canned tomatoes, and other Italian staples. My only suggestion would be to expand the specialty pasta selection with options like squid ink, spinach, or roasted red pepper varieties. Of course, we couldn't leave without visiting the bakery case. We brought home an assortment of Italian cookies, a black and white cookie, a Napoleon, chocolate cannolis, and a brownie. The brownie was the one item that didn't impress us, but everything else was delicious and tasted fresh. One thing to be aware of is parking. The lot is quite small, and both we and several other customers ended up parking across the street. It's not necessarily something the business can control, but it's worth mentioning if you're visiting during a busy time. The fact that this shop has been around for decades says a lot about the quality and loyal customer base they've built over the years. Overall, we had a very good experience and are looking forward to returning to explore more of the deli offerings.

Their cannolis are made fresh and they really are amazing! The espresso tastes amazing! One thing that really stands out to me is that this deli/ grocery has been in business for a long time and the owners/employees are so welcoming and make you feel at home! They welcome you with genuine happiness. They have outdoor seating and they offer to go. They do have 2 spots for accessible parking and a few ramps. The aisles are pretty tight but if you ask the employers they are more than willing to help out! The entrance of the store is accessible and it's easy to move around.

Total was like $22 something, gave the guy $25. Took maybe 5 minutes to get ready. I took it out to my car to dig in. How was it? Ok. New Yorker- This sandwich had corned beef and pastrami, cole slaw, Swiss, and Russian dressing on some rye bread. Pretty big sandwich. Pastrami and corned beef were tasty, albeit a tad fattier then I prefer. The cole slaw was pretty mayo heavy and goopy, I honestly scraped most of it off. Rye bread was soft, but nothing "great". I'm spoiled by Langer's and I need to tell myself that I will never find anything as good as that sandwich. Oh well......I tried. Sandwich was a 7/10 IMO. The sandwich came with some cottage fries which were ok, a side of pickles that weren't really pickled (tasted like a straight up cucumber) and some cole slaw which I did not try. Service was very friendly, the cashier was Scott himself, I think. The guy who brought out my food was friendly as can be, too. Would I come back? Yes. Would I drive down here specifically from Surprise for a sandwich? Maybe.
