Back again for the Tuna Tartar. I just can't find anywhere else that makes it like this. Is it acceptable to say "my mouth is orgasming" on yelp? And now we're discussing the proper tense of orgasm. You get the point this tartar is amazing. read more

My favorite place locally. They bake their own bread (delicious). The best butternut squash soup bar none is to be found here. Delicious locally sourced salads and soups served daily. Perfect location for mother-daughter lunch or lunch out with friends. Dinner menu is slightly spendy but also very good. Comprehensive wine list and friendly bar. The staff remembers and greets us like friends even when it's been 2-3 months since our last visit. I'm not as found of their brunch menu - maybe that's just me. Don't be discouraged by the packed parking lot in front. Take a right at the stop sign and pop into their spacious back lot. I've never had slow service there even when they are a little busy. If you're in the Spokane area you won't regret a trip to Luna. read more

Came here to visit a friend that recently moved up to the area, when looking for somewhere to have a bite to eat Luna came up. I was slightly apprehensive at first because brunch isn't really my thing, but when I got there Sam the bartender was awesome!! He gave me an incredible experience, made me great drinks and overall created an inviting setting! Will definitely be back to visit Sam!! read more

Went for lunch, they gave great casual atmosphere, felt very comfortable. Menu was ok but the kitchen staff did not perform. From the number of dinners, this is a good local restaurant, hope we just hit an off day with the kitchen read more

Luna has stood the test of time. It's just as wonderful now as it was three years ago. I can't think of any other restaurant in Spokane that I like so well. Their food quality is fantastic - local, fresh, and finely prepared. Their stone fired pizzas are the best I've eaten anywhere. Try the cheese plate, and the butternut squash bisque. The duck breast is wonderful as well. It's a lovely fine dining experience with fantastic food. Thank you, Luna, for so many beautiful culinary memories. read more

Luna is a fabulous little restaurant on the Southhill. I love the ambiance and the food. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Worth the price it's definitely a must try read more

Went for restaurant week. It was good to try new things, I just didn't love their selections. Luna is a great place to go for a little upscale dining. Great neighborhood spot. read more

Such a cute restaurant with great service, delicious and healthy options. Real, whole foods presented in a beautiful way.

First the staff was super friendly and helpful. Next, the food is above par for spokane but needs a couple tweaks. Today I had the tuna tartar: there was a lot of tuna. the only downsides were the lack of seasoning to the avocado and tomato and The pool of wasabi cream that the stack rested on. The toasted bread was a fantastic addition. Could use a micro-green garnish. 2nd dish was the crab cakes. This a typical restaurant item that they should do away with meaning if you are not going to make the crab the star of the show don't sell it as such. It seemed to be more fried exterior then crab interior. I usually get the meatball sandwich but was not available today, the meatball is second to none one of my all time fav's. Overall they do a great job, one of Spokane's best. Food Guy Out! read more

Tried this place for happy hour on a Sunday. There was only one other person sitting in the bar area so service was fast and attentive by the bartender. Atmosphere is really inviting and warm. French countryside theme going on. Drinks: nice 4/5 dollar beer on draft and a choice of a red or white white. Food: tried the sliders ( pretty good but very small so get 2 ) cheese which was delicious and pizza ( pretty disappointing). Overall nice intimate place for happy hour if you live near by. read more

Love the delicious food here! I have always enjoyed everything I have ordered. Really like the lunch curry shrimp and Luna salad and soups are always a great choice. read more

Amazing drinks and food! The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, perfect for a date night.

We came in as a group service not so friendly. Had the burger asked for medium it was very well done was told it would take about 15 minutes not to mention the rest of our party's food had already come it's sad because we are also in the service industry read more

Stopped in for Sunday brunch and had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, we had chilaquiles and the brisket hash--both were super tasty. Great atmosphere and service, the patio is gorgeous! read more

Great ambiance- I love the patio seating surrounded by fresh herbs and grape vines. The indoor dining atmosphere is swanky yet comfortable and a great place to gather with my girlfriends. The Margherita pizza was absolutely delicious with a crispy crust and the freshest basil and tomatoes. I love that they grow their own herbs and it definitely makes the food taste fresh and delicious. read more

I came here off a recommendation from a friend. Luckily we got a seat without a reservation. We ordered pasta pomodoro (C+) and the Veggie Pizza (B+). The bread they give you before the meal (A+). Lovely interior, I could see this place being fantastic with the windows open mid Summer. read more

Went back with family! We got two pizzas - both excellent and their house salad. The only thing I did not like was the rock salt crunch in their salad dressing! We got the cobbler of the day and it was also great! FYI - you can buy their day old bread and it is so yummy toasted for days! I bet it also makes killer croutons! read more

I have gone hear since I was a toddler and it has never disappointed me. That's coming from someone who was an extremely picky child. It has changed ownership and chefs and they always have something good regardless. The staff are always so polite and cheerful. Never disappointed here. Never. read more

Love this spot for brunch! Such a good menu and the prettiest atmosphere. The servers and bartenders are great. I literally want to try everything. Oh and their burger is super incredible, probably the only burger that I would consider an investment. read more

The food here never disappoints me or anyone I know who has eaten here. They are open for TAKE-OUT during the COVID-19 restrictions. At 6pm on a Sat evening orders were 45 minutes out. Not an unreasonable wait for fantastic food. Call ahead to be sure you can get what you're looking for when you need it. read more

Food was subpar. The poutine didn't have much flavor and for the eggs Benedict the hollandaise sauce was thin. The open concept is nice but when sitting next to it it was loud and uncomfortable. read more

Only ok for drinks. We had a martini and the glass was only half full. For the price, it should have been filled! Food is good though.

Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. read more

The most charming European style cafe! Our server was genuinely pleasant and the food was top notch. Brunch began with complementary cinnamon brioche and Mimosas ($28 for a carafe or $7 each). We beat the Sunday rush by arriving early which gave us a chance to take in the surroundings for the first time. Every element of the experience was special; From the artwork and interior design to the detailed plates and potted plants. It was the perfect place to celebrate my mother's birthday! My husband ordered the pancake breakfast with KC bacon and a fantastic cup of DOMA coffee. My dad ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict while I opted for the Eggs Florentine. The hollandaise sauce was so light and lemony! Both plates were served with salted rosemary potatoes- perfectly crisp on the outside. My mom selected the Daily Quiche which was a vegetarian option made with Brussels sprouts, caramelized onions and Parmesan. The pastry crust was buttery, flaky and baked to perfection. The house salad with cranberries and candies walnuts was a perfect pairing. It started to get busy right as we were finishing up and even still, the atmosphere was relaxed. I can't wait to return for the lunch or dinner menu. I would love to come back to their patio in the spring! read more

This is a beautiful restaurant with nice ambience. We had a ceasar salad and each had an entree. The salad was amazing. The entrees, however, were just ok. They were a bit overcooked and the garnishments weren't very well connected with the main course on either plate. We ate here many years ago and loved it. I think we were both hoping for a better meal, but it just didn't happen. read more

Luna prides itself on locally sourced ingredients combined creatively. The inside is homey, with hardwood floors, and the outdoor seating in the arbor stays cool even on a warm day. What surprised me most about taking my parents to brunch here was the reasonable price of the meal (we didn't order alcohol). If you're anywhere in Spokane and don't mind the drive far up the South Hill, you can't go wrong. If lived on the South Hill, I would probably dine here far too much. read more

We are visiting from out of town and loved Luna! Fabulous ambiance, service and food! In a great area in Spokane. If you are from out of town looking for a great, local dining experience come to Luna. You will not be disappointed! read more

The reviews here are all accurate. Luna has great food, great staff and reasonable prices. My only complaint is the time it takes to get your food. We had brunch here again on Sunday. It was bust, but not slammed (there were open tables) Unfortunately it was 45 minutes from the time we placed our order until the food came. This was not a unique experience. We would be in here a lot more often if the could remedy what seems to be an ongoing issue. read more

This is one of spokane's nicest restaurants. It is not cheap but compared to seattle or other big cities the prices are not bad at all. The service is good there is no valet and its easy to miss the beatiful parking on the west side of the building. Their rose oven pizzas are great. The corking fee is $15 which is higher then most places, but if the bottle is expensive enough to bring to dinner, I doubt $15 matters. The interior of the building is well appointed. For the type of restaurant Luna is trying to be, the large booths that are in part of the establishment are a little strange, but there is table seating and the booths are upscale. Luna also makes all their deserts and they are great. The same people that own luna own a couple other restaurants in spokane. read more

Can't believe I'm having to write a negative review for Luna but want to forewarn you ... don't order the Anniversary Dinner (November) ravioli! I should have snapped a pic so you could see the incredibly light serving size of the entree. There were three very small ravioli, two of which were presented on top of each other. It was a shockingly petite presentation to all at our table. Flavor was delicious but definitely not worthy of being on the entree list Thankfully, the three others in our party had ordered the Grilled Pork Loin. Their orders were nice sized servings of moist tender deliciousness! My husband swears it was the best pork he has ever had. My friend insisted I take a few pieces of her pork to supplement my "dinner." Service was horribly slow the whole evening. Our friends are frequent Luna guests as they live nearby. I know they were embarrassed by the above missteps despite our trying to put a positive spin on things. read more

We find this to be reliably of high quality. We go here for a nice lunch. The ingredients are fresh. The dishes are creative.

One of the best in town and it's been around for a while. Classic NW cuisine that gets periodically shaken up so the neighborhood keeps coming back. read more

Outstanding! Love everything I've ever ordered! Great food, atmosphere and service! We make sure to go there whenever we're in town.

Where do I begin? Luna is one of my favorite places to dine in Spokane. The environment is beautiful in any season, and the food is consistently outstanding. Chef Joe Morris is AMAZING. You can tell that he truly cares about the dishes he produces Love the patio area in the summer, and the super cute lounge area near the bar. 10/10 read more
