It's great to know their business has not struggled during the pandemic as they were mostly a take-out joint to begin with. I ordered a Large Chicken Sharwarma, which comes with rice, diced onions, a side salad and pita, and a Large Chicken plate (only chicken, onions and sauce). Extra garlic sauce, extra hot sauce (can't have it any other way). When I opened the box to devour it, the scent brought back the great memories I had when I dropped by during my time in Hamilton. To this day since university, lulu's is by far the best shawarma I've ever had. The rice had bits of onion and it just blends so well with the protein and the sauce. They also provide the pita but to be honest, it is so good I never stop to stuff my pita with the shawarma. I do recommend you eat it once you get it. Location: Lulu's is a small, stand-alone restaurant located at a parking lot. They don't have a lot of seating inside, so that's something to keep in mind. TIP: park elsewhere and walk. I don't believe they own the parking lot (so this comment isn't on them), but If you park at that parking lot, you will be charged $5 (even if you're just doing a grab-and-go). Food/Service/Price: We ordered two loaded chicken shawarma wraps and they were delicious!!! The difference between loaded and chicken only is one has veggies. Big portions, reasonable prices (about $8-9 each!) Definitely satisfied my craving. Note that they take cash only. Would definitely return if I'm in the area. read more

Listen. I've had a lot of shawarma's in my life. If you're looking for a Chicken Shawarma Wrap. This is not the place. The "wrap" is a cone. They literally give you a fork for the wrap. I was expecting a nice wrap. What I got was far from the picture on their menu. As for toppings. The chicken was alright. Had a lot of sauces on it. It is inevitable. YOU WILL GET SHAWARMASWAPED. There is no way you are cleanly eating this. Couldn't really raise the other toppings because there was so much sauce. Overall I was fairly disappointed. NOW, I have not tried the plate, but that would probably be the better option here. TLDR: If your looking for a traditional chicken shawarma wrap then I wouldn't recommend here. The chicken and rice combo is my goto whenever im in the hamilton area. The large chicken and rice comes to ~$13 and it comes with two pitas and a garden salad. The meal is big enough to feed two or leftovers can be saved for a second meal. The cooked rice is quickly fried up with onions before serving and has a great kick with the hot sauce. The hot sauce is more mild in comparison to other shawarma places but seasoning of the chicken is unique to only lulus. Its a great meal everytime, ive never been dissapointed, other than showing up on monday and finding out theyre closed on mondays! Lulus is also cash only! As soon as I walked over for lunch today there was a huge line up. I knew I was in for a treat. The place is small, not the coziest/cleanest/appealing shawarma gig you would be imagining. Seems to be a wonderful mom and pop shop that makes mouth water shawarmas. Got the chicken shawarma, I noticed that theres was slow cooked on a hot sizzling grill, rather than rotating on a skewer. The shawarma seemed small when they were packing it up, however the owner seemed to keep adding chicken again and again. In the end, it was an epic meal. Our go-to spot for Shawarma. Stumbled upon this place by accident in 2012, and have been a fan ever since. Have introduced it to several people, and they have all given it rave reviews as well. This tiny mom and pop establishment has a simple, but great menu. The chicken is seasoned perfectly and tender, the rice is flavourful, portions are generous, and staff are efficient and kind. I usually go for the Chicken Shawarma pita, or the Chicken and Rice Combo (comes with side salad and 2 side pitas) or the Chicken Shawarma on salad meal. All great. I'm Lebanese and I can say this is one of my favourite spot near my office which is 3 min walk away. The rice is tasty u like other middle eastern places I've been to, the chicken is so delicious and tasty. His take out portions are huge even for a small. Only reason for not being 5/5 is because his garlic sauce is slightly sour or lemony which doesn't help me digest it. No sitting in besides 10 seats but too small.
