Their mini backpack and purse wall is truly something to behold. Easily 50 to 70 different bags. The trick to hot topic is going for their sales. Full price tends to be a bit much, (except their tshirts which are about right). I'm considering a bit "old" for hot topic these days but I still enjoying it. Just set your expectations accordingly: loud, kinda overstimulating, lots of anime.

As a manager. While shopping in this hot topic location on 09/30/2024 it was extremely uncomfortable. The manager at the location followed us very closely. Uncomfortable close. The hot topic manager was sure we were only in the store to steal and the manager is not good at looking for shop lifters. This woman stayed within 2 feet of me and my daughter while we were in the store. From the front door to the jewelry. Ended up storming out because I got grossed out by this woman following so uncomfortably close. She was so sure that my daughter and I came in to shoplift. making it obvious was we are shoplifters. Just because you're manager doesn't mean you know every customer is up to in your store. You cannot judge your customers based on what they look like. Used to also make a point to came to hot topic. We even have an account. We used to spend money here. But I will not spend in a location that likes to follow teenagers around that closely and is that rude to people that are looking. Yes I saw you standing next to me pretending to work when you were clearly staring at me and my daughter with a nasty bitch stare on your face. I get it it's Monday but not bitch day and chase customers out f the store day. Almost like she was tired of having people in the store is this is her way to chase them off. Usually buy something, have an account, but hot topic is not a friendly store to shop n. They will access you of stealing even when you not. Try smiling you work in customer service ". I was at the store yesterday around 1:00. No one welcomed me in or helped me with a dressing room. No one came to check on me either. When I checked out she did not even say thank you. It was very disappointing. I will now drive all the way to the Sparks store. They are very helpful.

I noticed there was a sign on the door stating they were closed but noticed people in the store being helped right at the entrance, so I entered. The older lady (employee) was a little gruff and instead of the normal "Welcome in!" I received a look of disdain... I stepped back out to reread the sign and then politely asked if I could justake a payment. Rather rudely she said I guess. I could tell she was upset but hey, your website says open until 6pm. Not my fault I drove across town to find you were closing early. Though I like the items I always get from Lane Bryant I will find it hard to return to such sour service. No apology for closing early. Just fluff employees who were too bothered to take a payment. By the way... your store is only open 7 hours... why so angry?​
