The older lady working there today (July 7th, at about 1:30pm) was extremely rude to my family.

I stopped by this store during the holidays with my family. I had a jacket that needed repairs. I had no expectations when I walked in, I walked out feeling like a valued customer. A lady named Alex was the absolute best helping me out. Alex hooked me up. She was so helpful and accommodating to me. The costumer service was above and beyond. Rude and condescending employees at this location. Was asked if I needed help finding anything when I walked in and let them know I was only browsing and thanked them for the offer. During the 10 minutes I was there the same employee asked if I needed help at least 2 more times, while constantly watching me. Felt a bit uncomfortable and as if they were worried I was going to steal something. There was another shopper trying to return something they apparently purchased the day before and the employee at the register was speaking condescendingly to the young lady. We've been to this location in February, March, and now May of this year. We've spent hundreds of dollars (if not thousands) total between the 3 trips. Today we asked to join the loyalty program (which has never been offered to us in the past) and the girl had no idea what it was or how to do it. Legit said "I don't know". My husband and I stopped in here after dropping off our five year old at Northstar's snowboard school. This was our first time dropping him off and so were a little stunned that they just took him and told use to pick him up at the end of the day. (No really it was the best after the initial shock that we wouldn't help him with boots etc. - Great school). Anyway husband needed a new pair of gloves so we stopped in the Patagonia store - and in the course of conversation with David it came out that he had some experience with the ski school and proceeded to allow us to pepper him with questions for a good 10-15 minutes and really put our minds at ease - but also encouraged us to keep our son going with the snowboarding practice. In the middle of all of the questions he also helped my husband with gloves, socks and a belt. Overall the experience was made by David and his friendliness and taking the time out for us! read more

Great ethical business practices here. Was buying a jacket and tried haggling. No luck, manager helping us said no Sir...price fixed. Then as I was paying she noticed the slightest smudge on the jacket. She went into the back to look for another same size...no luck, so she gave me 20% off. Same jacket on Amazon was more expensive after discount. Wow, she could have just pretended to not see smudge and charged full price...Patagonia must have classes on ethics. Last week we ordered 6 pairs of pants Patagonia on line so that when we arrived at Northstar our 12 year old daughter would have multiple choices of pants. Upon arrival we simply provided David the Patagonia representative with our name and he immediately went to that back store room and produced the box with the pants. David was polite, professional and courteous and as our daughter tried on her pants he provided all the assistance you could ask for. This was not the end however, we asked David if we could provide the return label that his company emailed us a week prior when we placed the order and assist us with returning the 5 pairs of pants we would not need. He immediately provided us with an email and printed the return label for us and took care of all the return shipping. David went above and beyond, we would highly recommend using this store and Patagonia as a product. read more

Patagonia at Northstar? this is it!! patagonia is finally right where i need them to be. its great knowing that i can get the absolute best gear i need and use to ski (or board) right here at the base of the hill. being a true patageekia, if something fails or if i forget something, i know they will have something that will fill the bill. the quality, knowledge of the staff, and the iron-clad guarantee, means you cant go wrong. yes this is on the high end of the medium range pricing of sports ware, but it truly performs and is functional. i dont think anyone would really say that patagonia is high fashion. but it is true that it works, and works well. read more

I love patagonia. This is a great addition to the Village. Patagonia makes great products that will last you forever. I own many of their products (ski clothes, jackets, hats, backpacks, etc etc). Expensive but worth the price of never having to replace. read more
