I love this store for me and secondly for my wife. The men's running and athletic section is unbeatable. The fabrics the cut the sizing the colors it's all perfect. They know what they're doing. Then you go over to the women's side and it's the same, all great fabrics and great design. On top of that throw in great service with people that know the product. Colors are back, yay! Usually I get my gym clothes from Brazilian and Colombian brands because of the colors and patterns. Happy to see that Lululemon is adding more spicy colors other than black or safe neutrals. They should carry more patterns. Today at least I saw the animal print orange-red outfit that was really nice. The store is pretty clean organized and the male section is attractive too. I just noticed today that they carry male underwear and could not resist to take a close look. Now that they have the larger store, they have a larger inventory/selection. It seems this location always has the specific items I'm looking for, even when they were a smaller store. I've especially loved in the past when they had their own Carlsbad and San Diego designs on their products custom to this store location. read more

updated to add: was in Chicago visiting family this week and went with my sister to the Gold Coast location and she tried the like new program there for the first time and they had zero problem taking ALL of her items with barely even a glance through her pile. the awesome employee said "the like new program is a win-win for everyone. you get money for your next purchase, we get money from your next purchase, and somebody gets a like new pair of leggings at a great price" so clearly my awful experience was unique to Carlsbad. Came into pick up a repair for my daughter and exchange a short length from an online purchase- the young lady that helped us was fantastic- came up with options, and suggestions. Got my (hard to get into the dressing rooms) hubby to try on several pairs and then magically came out from the back with the perfect pair She also grabbed our leggings that were fixed . Walked in about an hour before closing to get some last minute leggings for my daughter starting track! The sales lady gave us a quick but informative run down on her recommendation of which style leggings to try. She even gave us accurate sizing just but looking at my daughter The dressing room attendant was super friendly and helpful as well! They both really made our shopping experience awesome! Fast forward to check out- they give a %15 off discount for first responders and military! Super cool! The store is super clean and the staff are all very friendly! We have been to several Lulus around the country and this was by far the worst Lulu experience I have had. The workers were not helpful at all and were too busy gossiping with each other to actually help the customers. Also at check out they were very unfriendly. I bought a few things and they shoved them into a smaller Lulu bag to save from giving me the larger size bag. It was frustrating and I will not be back to this location. I came into store and was completely disrespected and downgraded race was definitely involved ! Less that a couple days I came to this location and purchased $1800 worth of items ! I usually come to this store often but this time I purchased the new grooves and was told they can hemmed ,for free . I contacted the 877 they told me to bring in pants to get one replaced (keep in mind I came in to get 7 hemmed) The girl that helped me inside the room didn't ask for my name or anything wasn't helpful at all and when I told her I was told to bring this pair of pants and by the customer service rep from Lululemon she said sorry that doesn't fall under the replacement when I was told directly by Lululemon to go in and get it replaced. I didn't wanna argue with her. She was rude from the beginning and clearly racist. I was the only person in there that had black hair and dark skin surrounded by a bunch of blondes, so definitely a race was involved I was downgraded and let me just say defamation of character was involved. So this gal decided to run her mouth while I was still in the fitting room saying "she caused damage to the pants because when I gave it to her, it wasn't they're when I handed it back"completely unacceptable unbelievable and unprofessional she doesn't deserve to work at Lululemon or yet anywhere with that kind of personality. Keep your comments to yourself and use your mind. I walked in with $800 worth of leggings to get hemmed and you really think I am concerned about $118 leggings but yet to cause damage to them to get a pair replaced that falls under your warranty. Are you kidding me? I really hope the store takes this as a lesson because the way she made me feel was very out of place and for 28 years I've never felt so low and downgraded and as a professional healthcare worker, I highly recommend you guys get rid of her because I will make it very bold moving forward that this Location doesn't care about their consumers and they are 100% OK with their employees being racist. It's unfortunate because my husband and I enjoy this location much and there are a lot of good staff here but that one bad seed make the whole heard bad! I already filed a formal complaint with Lululemon directly, and I really hope this is a learning lesson for this location. Now I know why this location only has two stars, but it took me several times to me coming here to have a bad experience very unfortunate because I live and breathe lulu from backpacks, water, bottles, hair ties, clothing everything never again we'll I come to the store or yet support. Spent over $500 at this location, and as I was walking out one of the sales associates accused me of stealing because the cashier didn't take off the sensor! The sales associate also asked me if I paid for the jacket that was actually wearing that I purchased several weeks prior! I called and spoke to the manager and told her what happened and the incident that occurred at her store and honestly she really didn't care! She wouldn't even tell me the name of the sales associate that I described to her. She says it's company policy that they don't reveal employees names. Honestly, this is got to be the worst Lululemon store I've ever been to! It's run very poorly with low grade employees that just stare at you if you ask for help. I must say that the Daily Yoga Jacket and Run Pace Tights make your body look AWE-MAZING...even if it might be slightly less than AWE-MAZING. I sent the hubby to H&M knowing full well what the price point was here. That being said, I have never owned such flattering, high quality fitness wear in my life. I figure since I am now a "professional" I can write it all off. So there ya go. I received service with a smile and the folks in the fitting room were more than helpful in bringing you sizes as requested. I almost didn't try on the Run Pace Tights but the sweet gal that helped me insisted I should...who was I to argue? And boy was she right! What an amazing fit!
