i was with my aunt and cousin last week and we stumbled upon this little shop. i thought it seemed…read morecute, we walked in the ac was running and it seemed like a nice place. while the clothes weren't my personal interest, i thought it seemed great for others. my aunt was taking photos of the place, just like 1-4 ish as she loves that type of stuff. when we walked into the room where the cashier was, she saw my aunt take a photo of the hats or something. with an angry voice and demeanor, she asked "are you taking a video?!?", she replied "no" but the cashier continued and said "are- are you sure!?!" and my aunt about to lose her temper calmed down and said "no, i was just taking a couple pictures of the place" and the cashier still seemed a bit annoyed but continued to do her errand or whatever. this quite shocked me and while i understand that perhaps the cashier who i later found out (i believe!) was the owner or co-owner most likely didn't want a video of herself i feel like she could've handled the situation differently. either way i also read the reviews of this place the second we walked out and realized the main problem of the place is its customer service and support. and that's pretty much the foundation of a business. how you treat your customers. have a good day God bless

It's not easy talking to a male associate about women's clothing questions but he must have handled other similar situations as he knew right away what I was speaking about. I have never had one of their associates give me solutions/options when I didn't there would be any. It's a smaller location but Mason took the time to find items that happened to be in the back. It's street parking so it can be tricky during peak hours (such as lunch time today). I'd return just for the service as they went above and beyond today.

"It's very strange that you have flashback tags on these clothes, where did you buy these" all while all the workers were looking at me as if I did something wrong. I still have tags on some of the clothes because I sell online and I need to remember how much I paid per item when I post them on Depop and whatnot. I needed money as soon as possible and figured I could sell to flashbacks faster than online. As a loyal buyer and seller of flashbacks for years I'm very upset and annoyed at this encounter. I don't think someone who stole would post a review. If Flashbacks has any concerns about a loyal customer I'd be more than happy to give dates and times of purchasing items at any point in time. Most items in there are vintage designer so buying them brand new could easily be twice the price! Seeing BCBG, Max Mara, Prada, Italian/French labels and so much more is a rarity to find in San Diego. She has such a good eye for fashion it was hard to walk away from so many amazing items. I got a beautiful silky top that is amazing quality and cut. A designer top like that currently sells for $1,185 and I got it for $130. One of the shirts that I bought 3 weeks ago is missing two of it's buttons and has a small hole already.
