She explained the process thoroughly and recommended an insert. I have been having problems with my arch support and my Orthopedic recommended Road Runner. Great call! I left with a new pair of Nike shoes with the new custom made sole insert. My feet feel great, again. Oh, and that VIP pressure people talk about. Spencer explained it showing us how the numbers worked to our benefit. Savings in the long run and able to cancel at anytime. No sales pressure as I read some comments. Numbers did the trick!

Although they had two employees and only two customers, my existence was not acknowledged by either worker for over five minutes. (The gentleman at the register made a noise when I asked him about the machine in the front of the store but that was it). I even stood no more than 4 feet away from a female employee while she was talking with a customer and she didn't acknowledge my presence, much less tell me that she could help me in a moment....... it gives me such a terrible taste in my mouth to be treated like dirt in my hometown. But I did go today and spend $200 on a pair of shoes and I'll bring my family of four (including 2 young teens) to a shoe store in Encinitas even though they sell the same product at the same price over 5 miles away...... I really wanted to support local. But clearly the employees don't care about service.

He was as friendly as he was knowledgeable. I took a while trying to find a shoe that worked for me, but he wasn't pushy and he made me feel like he valued my opinion and prioritized my needs. At one point there was four shoppers, and only himself, and he never left me (or the other clients) hanging. Yesterday I went to a shoe store in Solana Beach on 101 that treated me like dirt, so this was quite a pleasant contrast. Thank you Sky, and I will bring myself and my family back when we need new kicks.

It was also a special run to celebrate 10 years of Fleet Feet, which was very fun. Lots of shoe demos here by Saucony, Hola, Addidas, etc. There was also a snow cone truck here too, free cookies and beverages were being given away. I couldn't stay for the raffle but heard a $200 gift card and some sneakers also given away. Yea! I'll def come back for this Wed fun run club! Will alternate between Lake Miramar and here! I explored the men's and kitchen sections and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items there. I went to the POWAY location and returned my shoes. They had my correct Size in the store but I declined to buy theM because they had VERY OBVIOUSLY been worn. The employee offered to clean them for me which I thought was a little weird. I don't know about you, but I'm not paying $85 for used shoes. So I went ahead and purchased another pair online and they arrived in three days. (See images) What are the chances They tried to sell me another obviously used pair? Filth! When I took them to the POWAY location they were very nice and refunded my money. The employee explained that their policy is to just clean the dirty, used shoe and resell it for the new price-- and that my particular pair of shoes came from STORE 697. The ENCINITAS location. It was explained to me that the employee at that store , (employee number 295956) who prepared the order didn't clean the shoe before they resold it to me for the new price. I've been a rewards member for years And have been shopping at famous footwear my whole life. That ends today. Order from an honest seller.
