I tried this place out looking for some new yoga wear. I go in and Im thinking wow- great, unique, cute pieces. Then I look at the prices. Seriously???? $75 for a yoga tank top. I keep looking and I find pretty much everything in the store is way overpriced. The worse part of my trip to this store was the rude sales person. She didnt even acknowledge I walked in until I asked her a question, and there were only 2 others in the store, also browsing. You wont stay in business w/these prices or w/this kind of treatment. I certainly wouldnt recommend it. My first trip to Lululemon was by complete accident. I was on my way to the consignment furniture store across the street. My friend has been raving about it and so I decided to stop in. When working out, I have very specific needs. Specifically, I want everything to stay in its place. The ladies at the store were very helpful. When trying things on, the person there wanted to know why something didn't quite work and gave suggestions on other items that I could try that would work better. Although very pricey, the quality you end up with is unmatched. Another great selling point (I'm only 5'1'') when you buy pants here, they will hem them for you at no additional charge. read more

Oh Lululemon you are the love of my life when it comes to Yoga..which I don't even really practice all that often lol. I love your clothes so much..I wear them whenever the hell I feel like it. Which is one of the joys of working from home! They are so comfy and flattering for walking my pup, meeting up with friends for grub, running errands, or laying around at home. All of the pants, tops, and hoodies I've purchased from here have lasted 6+years, no joke. They wash well, and are so comfy. I love how well thought out the designs are too. This place is cool, not as big as the ones I've been to in Cali, but it'll do. I've always been treated really well when I come in, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The store is only letting 5 people in at a time. The other 5+ people in the store were all workers . We were told the wait was short and that they were limiting shopper's time to 30 minutes, neither of which was true. Was told by one of the store workers that they couldn't control how long someone shops. We waited for 45 minutes in 100+ degree weather in a line with people standing right by each other, which completely defeats the purpose of limiting people in the store. The problem with having policies implemented from high up is that it doesn't allow any doscretion for common sense. I won't be back. read more

I was a loyal lulu customer for years, but this location (domain in Austin) has been going downhill in the past year in my opinion. It's the middle of July and there were only 3 choices for shorts, in 2 colors each, which is pretty silly. The employees ignore me until I am in the fitting room. I've been hearing about Lululemon workout wear for a couple of years, but just got around to visiting their relatively new Austin store today. What a great way to start a new year! The fit, finish, and attention to detail of every piece of clothing I tried on really shocked me, being used to buying the usual big name stuff made in China. Although I did not pay any attention to the men's clothing, the variety of colors and styles in yoga pants, running shorts, tops, jackets, capris, and accessories for women was wonderful for me to see. The usual size inflation normally seen in women's activewear is nowhere here. (I have been wearing an XS in other brands -- and those were beginning to get larger every year.) But I wear a totally normal size 4 at Lululemon -- and the pants are beautifully stitched and detailed. (They will hem any pair of pants you buy, which is a wonderful service.) The prices are completely in line with the bigger names (Nike, Adidas, etc.) and the quality is better. Example: women's yoga pants average about $50, vs $60-$75 for Nike. I bought a pair of reversible pants with a foldover waist for $98 -- and they fit so perfectly that I just want to live in them. Also, the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are not pushy, but several people helped me in different parts of the store, making sure I found everything that could possibly interest me. read more

Ahhh thank god for Lululemon. I moved here from Canada and lulu is the ONLY place to go for your workout gear (and yay Canadian brand!!). I have yoga pants from 4 years ago, still in good shape. Reversible yoga pants and work out shorts are my favourite because they have a higher waist and make your bum look great. Even though it is expensive (Over $100 for any sort of sweater/jacket or pants), the stuff lasts and is high quality. Considering the heat here, I wear my lulu running shorts (reversible and a perfect length - mid thigh) with my lulu racerback tanks all the time. So worth the splurge! They do have sales sometimes (in Canada at least - but it's only like 10-20 dollars off regular price). DON'T put in the dryer, pants/shorts will pill. read more

My wife and I just went to return two pairs of pants (ABC Classic men's pants and some women's leggings) we purchased a few months ago. Each pair had a seam that came loose and, although we thought it would be a longshot, we took them in to see if they would be willing to help. As it turned out, the staff were really friendly and willing to help! They gave my wife partial credit for getting a new pair of pants and gave me an exchange on the ABC pants for free. We were really impressed with the company policy and the helpfulness of the staff. We will definitely be back to this store! read more

Oh, lulu, I can't stay away from you! I came back for the Speed Short specifically. These shorts have so many amazing reviews on the lulu website, and now I know why - they are made out of unicorn silk and have been blessed by the Goddess of Fit personally in an elaborate ritual that makes them better than anything else you have ever put on your butt. They also make you feel like your ass is a priceless work of art - you will have a hard time pulling yourself away from the mirror. I mean, I was pretty satisfied with my rear end to begin with, but as Ron Burgundy said, "I wanna be friends with it." And then I accidentally tried on a pair of cycling shorts that made me cry happy little tears. I HATE cycling bottoms - for some reason, every pair is cut like a high-waisted Levi's from the 90's. Not so with lulu - they sat beautifully on the hips and didn't try to cut me in half at the waist. The chamois was not too big, not too small, and the little ruffle reflective strip is ADORBS. Worth every penny. The best part was the staff was super friendly, eager to help without being overbearing, and my 'Fit Specialist' this time around was great. She really wanted to see how everything looked on me and was genuinely excited when something looked good. In conclusion, I would seriously consider selling my theoretical future firstborn child for more lululemon clothing. It's just that good. read more

I had never heard of Lululemon prior to my one visit to this store. I was walking down the street a few weeks back and saw a cute jacket in the window. I walked in to try it on and the salesperson told me it looked good, etc etc, so I decided to make my first Lululemon purchase. It was a down winter jacket that I bought on a warm day and had tried on while wearing a t-shirt. Later when I tried it on with a long sleeved shirt underneath, I realized that the material doesn't slide on well. It also started to show signs of wear very quickly- feathers poking out all over and the material stains so easily. I was really disappointed in the quality of the product and I submitted my concerns to Lululemon a few days after making the purchase, however I never heard anything back. This will be my first and last visit to this or any Lululemon store due to the lack of quality. For a $200 jacket, I expect it to look new for more than 3 wears. read more

I continue to be thrilled and pleased with the service at this Lululemon. Being a former resident of Canada, and having visited Lulus all over the great white north from Vancouver to Montreal, I've become sadly accustomed to the snooty, standoffish, and sometimes downright rude service. I've walked into the Lulu on Saint-Denis in Montreal and had salesgirls actually ignore me when I ask them questions point-blank. I'm a yoga teacher and love the Lululemon brand, so I spend probably thousands at Lulu each year, but due to bad store experiences I've done most of my purchasing online the last couple years. Thank the good lords I now live in Austin, where the sales associates at the Lululemon downtown are actually--gasp--FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Every time I walk into this store, they're on me with a greeting, asking if I need help, chatting about yoga and workouts in the fitting room, helping me pick out colors/styles, fetching me sizes, and generally being completely awesome. Today I had the day from hell (gigantic professional disappointment after weeks of stress and buildup), and instead of driving my car off a cliff went to Lulu for some retail therapy. I don't know how the girls knew, but they just KNEW, and were super sweet and nice as I tried on a couple items I totally didn't need but that made me feel pretty. The girls here are amazing at making you feel like a good friend who's visiting their awesome workout closet. They're also great ambassadors for the brand, all of them bright-eyed, healthy, happy, and full of vitality. I'll gladly make the trip downtown anytime to visit this crew. A yoga teacher or dedicated yogi's dream. Oh, and the clothes are unparalleled. But that should go without saying. It's Lululemon. Those complaining about high prices: you get what you pay for. I've had my Groove Pants for three years, wash them probably three or four times a week, and they still look and fit good as new. I'd probably have cycled through five or ten pairs of cheaper yoga pants in that time. So, it ends up being cost effective. read more

Quality? check! Comfort? double-check! The best sports bras I have ever owned? Checkity-check-checkeroo!!! Price... errr... yeah... it's um... up there, BUT it's worth it because these clothes last me forever and I am in them constantly, washing them constantly, and still in love with every piece I have ever purchased. I wanted to rave about the awesomeness of my newest outfits, they are so great! They stay on and cover my tummy even while I'm bent over doing downward dog and what not... I'm a super fan! Customer service at Lulu Lemon hasn't been bad for me. I like that they don't rush me at the door, force me to try things on I don't want to... it's just super chill, I stroll in, I pick out my stuff, I get a room, try it on, sometimes the girls will offer advice if I ask for it, and then I make my purchase and go on my merry way. I call that perfection in my book, I hate pushy sales people and Lulu lemon doesn't have pushy salespeople. Overall I want to give 5 stars, but the prices won't let me. read more

If they weren't so darn expensive, I'd like them more. I wasn't sold at first, but I got a gift certificate and went in to shop. The staff is very helpful, but almost too friendly sometimes. But at least you know you're being helped. At first it seemed like they had a lot of different clothing, but after looking around, it's just several versions of the basics. They mostly just have shorts, yoga pants, jackets, sports tops and bras, and shirts. That being said, all the items are very high quality and made of comfortable material. I only got a pair of running shorts and a short-sleeve tech tee that I've worn a few times, but I can tell they will last a long time, and they fit well. I went to their grand opening and they had a dj and sushi inside and fire dancers outside. It was quite an event. Enough that I wanted to go back and check out the store to see what the big hubub was. Guess I'll have to wait until that next gift certificate or a 50% sale. read more

Love Lulu lemon products - own about 10 items. Historically, I have been more than happy to pay for the premium because I love the products so much. Issue with the customer service in this store in particular - they are much better at the Barton Creek location! I bought a pair of pants that needed to be hemmed. When I picked them up after the alteration, the length of the pants was still too long. This wasn't that big of an issue - just asked them to hem them another half inch, and said I would come back in a few days. I come back the second time and the length of each pant leg is dramatically different. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me at first, but it was very obvious that the pants were not the same length on each leg. At this point i was obviously a bit more frustrated. I went back and talked to Trish or Tish, and told her about my experience and she offered to give me a replacement pair of pants and free alteration. I said fine, but then she said "i'm going to let you pin the pants yourself, so you're happy with the alteration. Whenever customers aren't satisfied with the alteration, we have them pin it themselves to prevent future issues." This to me was over the top and ludicrous. I'm paying $150 for a pair of pants and i'm expected to stand in front of a mirror, bend over and pin them myself to make sure they are the same length? I'm hardly asking for a bespoke alteration, a simple hemming that they couldn't get right and was told "do it yourself". Love lulu lemon stuff but avoid this store. read more

This place has the most comfortable, quality, flattering workout clothes i have ever worn. Their pants make your butt look phenomenal! I think I won every item this place makes. Even better, they make working out look good. It's technically yoga gear, however I find it comfortable for regular gym workouts, running and even running errands around town. read more

I bought an item haven't worn it called to see if I could exchange it for another item, was told to come in and then the manager is rude and insinuates that I am a liar, even going as far as to tell me to go to another store and see if the manager would make an exception. Let me start by saying that I have been a huge fan of Lululemon for the past several years. I was shopping at their Santa Monica store long before they opened stores in Austin. I have spent a significant and I mean significant amount of money on Lulu clothes because I am both an active and working mom and have found that a wardrobe of yoga clothes is quite practical. My view of Lulu as a staple of my wardrobe changed yesterday after shopping at the store on 6th Street in downtown Austin. I will echo other yelpers who were surprised by how unfriendly the atmosphere is. It appears that the sales staff is much more interested in the young shoppers than they are in the older shoppers, but frankly, I don't need to be showered with attention when I am shopping. What I do need is to be able to return brand new items of clothing when they don't fit. Here's how the conversation about my return when down. Me: "I would like to exchange this tank and bottom for sizes that fit." Molly the Manager: "Hi, I'm Molly, what's your name?" Me: "It's Brooke and as I said, I bought these items about a month ago but haven't had time to return them so I would like to exchange them for items that fit." Molly: "Sigh, well, since we no longer carry this tank I really shouldn't let you exchange it but, pause, I guess I can make an exception but I can't give you full retail value for it. I guess I can give you $49.00 in store credit." Me: The tank was $65.00. The receipt is in the bag and it is clearly new so why can't you give me full retail value?" Molly: "Because we no longer sell that tank so I will have to sell it at a discount." Me: (Fumes now beginning to pour out of my nose and mouth) "So because you keep limited inventory and make design changes, I can't exchange a brand new tank with the tags on and receipt in the bag for the price I paid for it?" I snatched the tank from her hands, put it back in the bag and stormed out. I am pretty sure the moron at the cash register said something like "Have an awesome day!" Not only will that be the last time I step into Lululemon, but I am now planning to go on a trash Lululemon to every athlete I know. Nice work Molly. I didn't find what I wanted, but did enjoy checking out the running, tennis, and yoga clothes. They have a nice selection, cute designs and colors, and a helpful and friendly staff. Ok, yes the clothing is expensive; however I don't mind spending my dollars on a piece of clothing that will look great, will last, and is interesting. Try it on if you don't believe me. My husband is now hooked as well. I love that my pink tank top has ruffles. I am still a woman and I love feeling pretty while I am working my butt off....literally. Also, thanks to the staff here that helps me find the right fit for my shape. They are wonderful. They are always good about asking how your day is going and what you have planned for the day. I had 2 impressions of lululemon before I went in this store. 1. My wife looks great in the pants 2. People complain about how expensive it is. I was already a bit annoyed that I had to bring a pair of her pants in here because they apparently don't have size labels, plus shopping the day before Christmas Eve I knew I was in for a hassle. I was expecting a botique-ish vibe with rude old ladies and probably a long line- I was WAY OFF. In the first 5 seconds, I was greeted at the door by the most drop-dead gorgeous redhead I've probably ever seen, who promptly informed me that the pants do have sizing labels (although apparently imperceptible to muggles). Not only did she give me exactly what I was looking for (shoutout to pinterest as well, what a life-saver), they replaced the pair of pants I had brought in for free. This entire transaction was in the ballpark of 5 minutes, leaving me ample time to write a well-deserved review. No hassle shopping at it's best!! read more

I have spent way more money at Lululemon than I want to think about. I have never dealt with their customer service facilities until now. It is TERRIBLE. They shipped me a package that Fed Ex says they sent, but never arrived. I contacted them by phone and left a message as directed and no call back. Then I contacted them via livechat and they said they would open an investigation and would contact me in a few days. WHAT?! Amazon would have refunded me the money or sent me the product right away, not waste my time. For the prices they charge they should have sterling customer service, not half rate. read more

I've been wanting some lululemon clothes for quite a while and thought I'd walk down to the store on 6th Street on my lunch. Is it just me? Nothing in any size looked good on me. As I've been working out my entire life and wear a size 2 petite in normal clothes, it was depressing that everything I put on made me look like an out of shape whale. I started at a size 4 and went to a size 6. 4 was too small and tight and 6 was too large and loose. I've never had this issue with any other athletic line of clothing. Everything I put on was extremely uncomfortable. When I'm working out, I want to be comfortable and feel good about myself. For the price they ask for their clothing, they should look and feel great. The service was good and the staff was friendly and helpful though. read more

I was skeptical visiting this location after reading a few reviews but this was by far the best experience I've had at Lululemon. The two associates who assisted me were so kind and efficient. I usually visit The Woodlands location as I live in both Austin and Houston but I will be making this location my primary. Not only did they have exactly what I needed, the associate (Jen) picked every size (and multiples of each) to ensure that I had what I needed in my fitting room. Highly recommend. read more

Everyone was super helpful in this location and I would come back here just for the service. They had a decent collection and newer items. I'm a huge fan of Lululemon so this is a definite stop for me. I haven't had the issues of see throughness that other people obsess over. Maybe I don't really care? I wore the grooves through pregnancy and they were so comfortable and now I wear the wunder unders and speed tight for crossfit. I love some of their other items for everyday wear as well-shirts and skirts. read more

Out of all my Lululemon stores I love, this one is the top. The staff is always there to help you without being overly pushy. They have great recommendations on yoga instructors around the downtown area...and I don't know if it's me, but they seem to have clothes that the Colorado stores don't. The staff is extremely unfriendly and just plain rude. I went into the store this week to purchase a pair of leggings. None of the employees in the store asked what I was looking for or if I needed help, probably due to the fact that I am younger and they assumed I wasn't going to be purchasing anything.
