    Char Siu
    April S.

The restaurant itself is nice, and even though it's in the middle of the casino, you dont feel too exposed as you dine. My friend ordered skewers as the appetizer and bulgogi with kimchi and rice. I had the papaya salad as the appetizer and char siu with rice. I had enjoyed the char siu and rice but i had a slight issue with the papaya salad. It was literally sliced papaya and carrots on the plate with peanuts. No fish sauce, lime, or anything. So i was very confused. My friend enjoyed her skewers and bulgogi. The bartender was out sick that evening, so no alcohol. No worries, will just come back again.

As always, the staff, the atmosphere, and the food were all great! Yes, it's located inside the casino, which is actually a great spot for them. It's a little on the expensive side, but that's understandable given the location. I always enjoy eating here whenever I'm at Live Casino.

I ate at Luk Fu while attending a conference at the casino. The ambiance felt warm and calm despite the noise of the rest of the casino. I ordered: - Sashimi Martini - Vegetable Spring Roll The food was good, but the price was not worth it in my opinion. My $16 sashimi martini turned out to be mostly cucumber, which is a shame because the fish (and the sauce it was marinated in) was delicious. Once I ate through the top layer and realized the rest of the dish was 3 rows of cucumber, I forced myself to eat the [surprisingly unappetizing] chunks of cucumber, so that I could enjoy my few pieces of sashimi last haha. I ordered the $11 spring roll to better fill my stomach, but it came with only 3 pieces. (My mistake for not asking about quantity prior to ordering.) In total, I spent $29 (including fees, minus tip) to eat mostly cucumber and 3 spring rolls. Service felt a little slow as well...Nothing outrageous, but it felt like my two appetizers came out in the same amount of time that it would usually take an entree to be prepared. However, the spring rolls were piping hot once served! There looked to be about 5-7 people in the small kitchen, but only one server on the floor. It wasn't particularly crowded (maybe 8-10 other diners), but the one waitress seemed to be spread thin, at one point accidentally misplacing a drink at my seat that was meant for another guest. She quickly realized her mistake and apologized to me and the other patron. She was very attentive despite being the only server, making sure to communicate that she would return to me soon, as she rushed by to attend to other tables.

Web had a taste for Asian food so we tried Luk Fu. We got there early so there wasn't any issues with seating. If you go on the weekend you may have an issue with getting a table. For the appetizers we had pork spring rolls and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were better than the spring rolls. We also ordered Pho and Thom ka Gai. The Pho had a average flavor broth not that rich deep flavor. It was also lacking on beef. The dish is overpriced. The Thom Ka Gai had a little spice with it. Other soups that we had had like this had been sweeter. Like the touch of heat. The service was really good. More than likely will not be returning, for the price you can get better.

Meh! I don't think the food is anything but ordinary in my opinion . My friends and I ordered the pork & shrimp roll for appetizer. They thought it was just ok. I thought my roll had something grisly & chewy in it . Our entrees were chicken with eggplant - nice chunks of chicken, flavorful sauce but overcooked eggplant. Bulgogi arrived cold so sent back to be warmed up. Tender beef , good flavor. The lemongrass pork chops were tender and very tasty. Service was attentive and quick. Being set in the middle of the casino, you hear casino sounds but it is a bit muted by decorative panels . Otherwise, it's a comfortable setting.

The food was pretty good! Service was good and food came out very quick, good definitely tasted very fresh. The drinks not so much!

Me and my hubby were hanging out at The Live and stopped by for a quick bite. We got roasted duck and sweet and sour soup. Both were pretty good. It was Friday night so servers were busy but we got the service we wanted. It's pretty fun place to hang and grab a quick bite if you in for Chinese food. Price will be on the high side since it's in a Casino.

Luk Fu is a solid 2 stars. The beef rendang was passable, probably because we were hungry. The flavors were muted. The "Fresh" Maryland Crab sushi was quite expensive and it was probably crab from a can. We also had the soba noodles which were flavorless. We asked for a side of chili and it was not spicy in the slightest. Service was abrupt. The seats were uncomfortable. Had we checked Yelp first, we would have skipped it and gone somewhere in the mall.

Good! Great! Perfect ! The fried sea bass is what led me to this restaurant but I end up getting General Tso chicken with white rice. It was yummy! Everyone enjoyed their food & service was prompt. Nothing special about the ambiance as it's inside of a casino!

I'm not sure why this place has so few stars. So I feel compelled to leave a review. Is it extremely expensive because it is decent food in the middle of a casino? Yes. But is it some of the freshest and tasty sushi I've had in the area? Absolutely! I got the Nigiri and the sashimi martini and was blown away by the quality. Service is fast and efficient. So if you're hungry after some mad slot playing, and you want some Chinese or Japanese nosh, definitely stop by.

We have been coming to Luk Fu for years, I like both of their Chinese foods and sushi menu. Fresh seafood, nice cut of sashimi, authentic Cantonese flavors of Chinese food, so delicious. Service: can be unpredictable. We had super friendly & considerate servers and some inattentive ones, it's really like a draw of luck just as gambling Atmosphere: it's inside the casino, so a bit noisy like the rest of the casino. Price: very pricey. Almost $30 for a bowl of beef noodle, lobster is about $178, any main dishes is between $25-$35. But given most of people come here to eat using gambling points, hence why. Parking: plenty of. Both inside of the garage and outside either the mall side or David's side. Don't recommend if you only come here to eat Chinese food, because you can get similar quality of foods much cheaper elsewhere. But if you are a regular and have casino points to use then Highly Recommended by @WineDinenVacay

We went here for our anniversary in a Friday night, Black Friday to be specific. It's located within the Maryland Live casino, so it gives off high fast paced energy. Lots of chattering and music (DJ was amazing). We sat down fairly quickly but it was apparent after waiting bout 5/6 min before being greeted that the server was extremely busy, maybe even short staffed? We ordered a mai tai, general tsos, and crispy peking duck. The general tsos was good, not sure if its worth the casino price of $23.88 but its def a safe and solid choice. We also had a bolder choice and ordered the duck. This was 5/5 amazing. Crispy skin, juicy meat with right balance of fattiness. The duck was $49.88 and i would get it again. Besides the spotty service (not the waiter's fault, she was amazing when she could be) as jt was clear she had too many tables - our mai tai had the biggest hair in it. My wife literally gagged as she pulled it out her mouth. It was extremely disappointing. It may have just been an off day so ill give it another shot and report back.

I had the potstickers and the chicken with broccoli. The food was incredibly bland. Save some $ and go to the food court at the mall.

We arrived in the early afternoon on a Friday, and there were only two or three other full tables. We ordered from a touch-screen by the register at the back counter. Food was served in take-out containers, and looked fabulous. We asked for plates, and collected up our chopsticks and forks and sauces and napkins by the register. We got the 6-variety "rainbow" soup dumplings, a sticky-rice roll, and a cucumber salad. We got a soda, and it would have been easy to get tea from the attached next-door tea-house. Salad was fresh and flavorful and generous with a bright cilantro dressing. Every dumpling was hot and juicy and tender, with good flavor. We felt that fillings were good, but not extraordinary. The "crab and pork" and "truffles and pork" dumplings were predominantly pork. The sticky-rice roll was dense and lightly flavored, nice with soy and vinegar sauce. And there's more appetizers and cantonese-style dishes available. This place is ultra-casual, almost fast-food in style, and better than fast-food in food flavor and quality.

We had a 7:00 PM reservation for seven -- planned largely around my son's birthday request and his love of Dim Sum. Unfortunately, Dim Sum isn't available on Tuesday nights, which was a minor disappointment since our previous Sunday visit gave us the full Dim Sum experience. We shifted to ordering family-style and were genuinely pleased with the meal. The Moo Shu Pork, Peking Duck, Chicken Fried Rice, Mápó Dòufu, and Bok Choy were all flavorful and well-prepared. Everything came with won ton soup and tea, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. The atmosphere feels authentic and comfortable, and the staff was friendly throughout the evening. The manager tried to steer us toward several suggested dishes -- it was a bit unclear whether this was purely helpful guidance or an effort to highlight readily available items -- but we appreciated the input and did enjoy the bok choy recommendation.
