There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is limiting capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. They do not allow pets in their establishment unless it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located in the front and the back of the building. The spots are decent. Establishment & Staff: The pharmacy itself seemed very clean, neat, and organized. The staff here are very slow and a bit rude. That's why I decided to remove one star. After my exodus from CVS in San Gabriel and Las Tunas location {you may read my review about them in yelp} I found this Lucky Pharmacy in San Gabriel on Las Tunas. I walked in, they checked my insurance, got my prescription ready, and i was out in seven minutes. It is a rare occurance these days to see people doing right with delight and pride in their duty. Peaceful and kind workers with smiles on their faces welcoming a new comer. I am rating them AAA. read more

I would recommend to call head a time before picking up prescription. So you won't have to waited long. If they don't have have medicine it usually take about 3 days to order or they recommend some where else. read more

I have my primary in the same building for 3 years. I used them for ad hoc medicines, going before primarily with CVS then Amazon. Both CVS and Amazon have lost my respect. I do not know what it took to finally go all-in on Lucky but I am so glad I did. The personnel and procedures at Lucky are the best I have ever seen in my years. You are not a number but a human being. Service prices hands down better than the previous chemists. I highly recommend this 5-star staff and service who work here. read more

Came back to Lucky Pharmacy to fill another prescription. I arrived on a Friday about 15 minutes before closing. The pharm tech was really friendly and took my prescription and found me in the system quickly. I only had to wait about 5 minutes and my prescription was ready! This is a multilingual pharmacy. White men preferred pharmacy, I am a Chinese so I will not go there for my prescription any more. I always called ahead to have my prescriptions prepared, a lady in the reception, Cantonese speaking, took out my prescription, it's only one medicine I needed that day and ready to pay, it would take no more than one minute, but when she saw a white man behind me she left my prescription on the desk, took his 2 small bottle of Martinelli apple cider, $3, the man gave additional $1 as tips, looks like he's an old customer. After that she came back to my prescription. I was being held up because he's a white man? Or because she knows he'll be giving tips as usual? What a horrible service, I was ready to pay and won't take more than a minute, but she's rather put my prescription aside and serve other one. I will not be going to this pharmacy again, not even their Arcadia one. read more

My daughter and I went there for the booster shot. They were busy and were helping lots of kids to get booster. We had appointment and waited a little bit, but when I saw the pharmacists helping patient by patient, you can tell they did try their best. And that's why I write this review for them. I've been coming here for the past 3 years and they're always super quick with refills. The clerks in the front are very friendly and the pharmacist/owner there is genuinely caring, making sure you know how to take your dosage, when to take it, any side effects you should be aware of, etc. It's nice to get that personal touch. You don't get that at Walgreens or CVS Pharamacy or other chain stores because they just want you to get your medicine and leave. Sometimes I wish Lucky Pharmacy was open a little bit later like til 6:30pm instead of 6. With LA traffic, it becomes difficult to make it there by 6pm when I get off at work at 5pm. They are already gating up the store at 6, right on the dot. read more

The downside of Lucky Pharmacy is that they're closed Sundays! I understand why, they are on the ground floor of a medical and dental building, almost all of their business comes from those medical practices, those offices and labs close on Sunday, so Lucky does as well. But emergencies never take a holiday. Sometimes you just have to have a prescription filled on Sunday. read more

The only thing good about this place is that they can speak Chinese. They are getting one star from me for the bad service. Took them over 30 mins to tell me they don't have my medicine. Staff say Go somewhere else and maybe they might have it and have them to call lucky to fax my paper over to them. Wtf. Why can't you order it for your customer or try to help me find a store who have my asthma medicine. Dude this is about getting important medication and not about how busy you are. read more

This pharmacy is inept and unprofessional!!! When I went to pick-up a Rx they stated they had to verify something with the prescribing doctor and said they tried calling them all day. I called the doctor and they said they had been there all day and Lucky never called them. When our doctor called the Pharmacy, they told the doctor they did not have the prescription and didn't know who they were talking about!!!!! They are liars, rude, and should not be in business!!!! read more

Staff is rude and doesn't understand the meaning of customer service. Called in a prescription at 10 in the morning and arrived after work to be told that they didn't have my prescription because they ran out. It would've been nice to get a courtesy call during the day so I could make other arrangements- Instead the pharmacy technician shrugged it off as a no big deal and told me to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. Didn't offer to make the call for me or help to make it better. I rarely post negative reviews but I am so mad right now. My child is ill and no empathy from them. I will drive further out just so I won't have to deal with them again. read more

Lucky Pharmacy is located in a very convenient medical plaza. If your doctor is upstairs, you can drop off your prescriptions and expect them to be completed by the time your doctor visit is done. There is also an ER right around the corner for patients who need their mediation immediately after leaving the ER. I have been helping my parents fill their prescriptions at Lucky Pharmacy for the past year. My parents do not speak English, so it is extremely helpful that their staff can also speak Mandarin and Cantonese. The staff has always greeted me with a warm welcome and I feel like family. Lucky Pharmacy also has free deliveries. If you have monthly prescriptions, you can phone in and have your medication delivered right to your home! I strongly recommend Lucky Pharmacy to everyone who had bad experience with CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, or any other drugstores. read more

Lucky Pharmacy is going to be my new go-to pharmacy. I used to go to CVS to filled my prescription just because it was convenient despite the horrible service and longer than necessary wait time. The staff here are really nice and patient to answer my questions and concerns. A lot of the big chain pharmacies don't give adequate counsel and I feel like they were getting impatient when I ask them questions but not at Lucky pharmacy. Here the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell that the staff loves their job and actually cares for their patient's well-being. Prescription gets filled pretty fast so hooray for no long lines, little waiting time, and amazing staff. After my experience here, I will definitely be back. read more

What? No reviews for this place? I've been coming here for last 5 yrs since ownership changed to Calvin Yang. Can't say enough nice things about this pharmacy. The service is quick and personalized. You can be assured that if Calvin sees u walk in, he will greet you by your last name if you are a returning customer. His staff is also very nice and like him, makes you feel like they value your business. Would highly recommend this pharmacy. If you dont have time to wait in ong lines to get ur prescriptions filled like at CVS on Baldwin, drive another 15 min down the street to this pharmacy. Wholeheartedly agree with the person below. Been coming to get my meds at Lucky for the past 5 years now. My experience here has been nothing but the best. The pharmacist, Calvin, is very friendly and you can tell that he sincerely cares for his patients' well being. Everytime a returning customer walks in, they are greeted by their first name. The staff here are very nice and helpful as well. The customer service here is second to none. You can walk in and get your prescriptions filled in less than ten minutes with no hassle. The pharmacy itself is pretty big for an independent pharmacy. They carry a wide selection of OTC products as well as snacks and drinks. Lucky Pharmacy is much better than any one of those chain stores in terms of service, counseling friendliness and efficiency. There is always enough well-trained employees ready to help. Clients/patients can always have a chance to consult the pharmacist. I don't mind driving a few more miles to go to Lucky rather than the neighborhood chain stores. read more
