I would recommend this store, because the employees know what to do. I just asked the cashier lady to apply all coupons on my account, the cashier lady did it! She was going to have her coworker to redo the whole transaction.. and a note... it's quite common CVS employees messed up on transactions because of their reasons! Two days in a row now! I told her to not worry about it! I could check out with my card! At least I got my service done much smoother within 10 mins! I was able to use the restroom too! Save yourself time to come here! ***This review is for the Pharmacy only***…read more My Mom needed to have one of her prescriptions refilled. I happened to be driving by this Rite Aid in Rosemead yesterday. I stopped and we walked in to see if we could get it refilled. Well, we were informed by the pharmacist that in order to get a prescription refilled, the prescription needs to be transferred over from the current pharmacy to the new pharmacy. Unfortunately, the current pharmacy was already closed for the day so we'll have to try again next time. Pharmacist was okay. Not the smiley type though. Hey, we're not here to make friends. We just need to get our medications and that is what matters LOL. However, a friendly smile can lift up someone's spirits any time of the day... do try to put it in your daily practice... it will make your heart sing and make someone's day! Thank you for the prescription transfer information though... we will have to remember next time. Anyway, I have nothing more to add here. Happy Rite Aiding!

I don't know if it's true or not but there are probably reasons why asians flocks to this location (the price!). I've been here with my parents about 4 times and there are always customers and they are quite efficient. It's not CVS or Savons, it's more of a hole in the wall pharmacy for the local asian people. I brought in a vaccine voucher from my clinic that allows me to receive a vaccine at CVS, even when my insurance is not contracted with the pharmacy. Unfortunately, I was initially turned away despite presenting the voucher. The staff member assisting me told me that the voucher would not work and that I would have to pay out of pocket for the vaccine, which was confusing and frustrating. Thankfully, Joseph stepped in and took the time to help me. He went above and beyond to figure out the issue and get everything resolved. As it turned out, the system was very particular about how the information needed to be entered. Rather than simply turning me away or telling me to pay out of pocket, Joseph demonstrated patience, resourcefulness, and a genuine willingness to find a solution. This is what exceptional patient care looks like. Healthcare is not just about processing prescriptions or following a system's prompts. It's about taking the time to listen to patients, understanding their concerns, advocating for them, and making an effort to find solutions when things don't go as expected. Joseph demonstrated the kind of compassion and professionalism that can make a stressful healthcare experience so much better. His willingness to take ownership of the situation and go the extra mile truly stood out, especially when I had initially been told that nothing could be done. CVS is fortunate to have a pharmacist like Joseph Chen. Employees like him remind us how much of a difference one person can make through patience, dedication, and genuine care for the people they serve. Thank you, Joseph, for not giving up on me and for providing the level of patient care that everyone deserves. You truly went above and beyond, and I hope your efforts are recognized and appreciated! Also, I think the initial lady didn't know or lied idk her name but she did it to shoo me away
