My family and I got our COVID shots here. Brian Thai was really fast and he serviced 4 others while I was there. We were all in and out. He was very friendly and very thorough. The store is kept very clean and I would recommend coming here for more than just vaccines. This place is much better than other big chain stores that I have heard horror stories about. They used to only have Pfizer but now they have all 3 vaccines. Pfizer, Moderna, and Janssen. I have been told it is difficult for any one facility to hold all 3 vaccines. Do you know of any facilities who also have all 3? TBH, that says a lot about their store.

Buckle up--this wasn't just a delay, it was an ordeal…read more.. I rarely leave reviews anymore, but my experience at this Walgreens' photo department was so unacceptable that it warrants documenting. I submitted a photo order at 7:07 PM, and the confirmation email stated it would be ready by 8:15 PM. At 8:10 PM, I received another email saying there was a "delay," with no explanation, no updated ETA, and no further communication for the rest of the night. Because I needed the item for the following day, I waited. By 9:28 PM--nearly 2.5 hours past submission and an hour past the promised time--I called the store. A woman named Evelin answered, took my name, and said she would check on the order. I was placed on hold for 17 minutes. I could hear her helping other customers, talking to coworkers, and clearly forgetting I was even on the line. I eventually hung up and called back at 9:45 PM--only to have the call instantly hung up on. I called again at 9:46 PM and reached Bryant, who told me the order "was still printing" and asked whether I could come immediately since they close at 10 PM and would not be open tomorrow. While pulling up directions, another employee abruptly took the phone and asked, "How long until you get here?"--no greeting, no courtesy, just a rude, demanding tone. I said I'd arrive in 7 minutes. I got to the store at 9:58 PM and came face to face with that same employee, Andre. When I asked what information he needed, he stared at me for about 10 seconds, then said "I need your full name" without saying another word and a bored expression on his face. I gave him my name and told him I was the person he had spoken with on the phone. He walked to the photo area, and I followed. Only then did I find out the truth: the order was not printing at all. They hadn't even started it. I know this because the sticker on the print clearly showed a timestamp of 9:59 PM--one minute after I arrived. He had told me it was "still printing" when it hadn't been started at all. It took 18 minutes to complete the print. So after submitting the order at 7:07 PM--an order they promised would take about an hour--they didn't begin working on it until 9:59 PM, when I physically arrived at the store. The store was empty, it was a typical quiet Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving, and there was no legitimate reason for them to ignore the order. Instead of doing their job, they sent one vague "delay" email and then simply... stopped. No updates, no customer communication, no professionalism. In total, I waited: 2+ hours waiting past the original promised time 17 minutes on hold 3 minutes on the follow-up call 18 minutes in-store And not a single employee except Bryant showed even basic courtesy. Andre, in particular, was the rudest Walgreens employee I have ever encountered. His attitude, dismissiveness, and dishonesty were unacceptable. Whether he is a manager or simply acting like one, Walgreens Corporate needs to reevaluate who they allow to run their stores. The entire experience--from the lack of communication, to the forgotten phone call, to the lie about the order status, to the rude in-person interaction--was unprofessional, inconvenient, and extremely frustrating. This experience has ensured I won't be returning to this location at all.

Went to pick up prescription, they don't know how to process the coupon. Complete waste of time!! Stay away from this pharmacy! They are not organize at all. When I called to check on status, they don't even process the prescription until you ask them to. I used the Self-Pay Savings Card, meaning I will pay out of pocket. Instead this pharmacist ran this coupon to my primary insurance a few times and it's denied. I kept explaining the medication will not be covered by Kaiser but she just kept running it through Kaiser and did not allow me to use my self-paying savings card. Update on 4/14: I called CVS Pharmacy to fill this prescription. 1.) They picked up the phone right away 2). CVS was able to apply the manufacture coupon and I was able to get the discounted price. What the hell is wrong with Walgreens then??? They don't pick up calls here and the pharmacist was rude. She took down my manufacture coupon code incorrect a few times and kept throwing it back to me that it doesn't work I pointed it out to her that she is missing a digit. Then when the code finally worked, she ran the code through my insurance and told me it was denied. I repeatedly told her it's self paying, doesn't need to go through insurance. I HATE this Walgreens!!

First off...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE AND BE RIPPED OFF…read more My sick family member needed meds asap as he was very sick and in a lot of pain. He had Medicare AND another state funded plan. I went here as this was the first pharmacy on the way to my family. They fill all 5 drugs on my prescription. They asked me for payment of about $5.00. They said it was normal copay for these meds with the current insurance plan. At the time I didn't think much of it and just paid the money. 3 weeks later I went to fill multiple identical and other prescriptions at another pharmacy and I DID NOT NEED TO PAY A DIME. My guess is this pharmacy only ran Medicare and DID NOT run the other insurance even though I asked to make sure to check both insurance and the lady working said she did and that I still have to pay the copay. I've called in the insurance company and they said the medications should be fully covered. I really do not care that much about $5, but it's the principal!!! $5 from one person isn't much but they could've been doing this for who know how many years and to how many people?! $2-10 adds up over time. This place is a con. How dare they do this to sick people who do not know any better about their health insurance coverage. DO NOT LET THEM RIP YOU OFF.

Honestly, the only people who come here just to complain tend to be difficult customers. This is a…read morevery busy store, especially with East Los Angeles College nearby and being on a major intersection. There's constant traffic, and unfortunately, a lot of theft--so yes, they limit what's out on the floor for a reason. Staff also deal with people coming in yelling or even being aggressive, which most customers don't see. If you had to wait 10-15 minutes, it's honestly not unreasonable. This isn't a drive-thru. A little patience goes a long way. That said, it's actually a good store with loyal, hardworking staff who do their best. The store is clean, well-stocked, and self-checkouts are almost always open. Most of the time, you're greeted when you walk in or at least see staff available. The makeup department specially Ileni & Connie are so nice. This store is consistently being stocked, and someone usually helps you within a few minutes. They'll explain sales and how to use your CVS ExtraCare card, and they're genuinely willing to help you shop if you ask. The photo department works mainly through the CVS Pharmacy app--if you use it correctly, your order is usually smooth. If not, that's more of a user error situation. Food items are always available, and I've never seen anything expired or questionable in the fridge. As for the pharmacy--understand they are extremely busy, especially with a hospital just minutes away. It's a 24-hour CVS Pharmacy location, so yes, expect lines and sometimes a tired or direct pharmacist--they're working around the clock. Bottom line: this is not your average CVS. It's high-volume, high-demand, and the staff are doing the best they can under pressure.
