I want to give a special shout-out to Pharmacist Joseph Chen for his outstanding service and…read morededication to patient care. I brought in a vaccine voucher from my clinic that allows me to receive a vaccine at CVS, even when my insurance is not contracted with the pharmacy. Unfortunately, I was initially turned away despite presenting the voucher. The staff member assisting me told me that the voucher would not work and that I would have to pay out of pocket for the vaccine, which was confusing and frustrating. Thankfully, Joseph stepped in and took the time to help me. He went above and beyond to figure out the issue and get everything resolved. As it turned out, the system was very particular about how the information needed to be entered. Rather than simply turning me away or telling me to pay out of pocket, Joseph demonstrated patience, resourcefulness, and a genuine willingness to find a solution. This is what exceptional patient care looks like. Healthcare is not just about processing prescriptions or following a system's prompts. It's about taking the time to listen to patients, understanding their concerns, advocating for them, and making an effort to find solutions when things don't go as expected. Joseph demonstrated the kind of compassion and professionalism that can make a stressful healthcare experience so much better. His willingness to take ownership of the situation and go the extra mile truly stood out, especially when I had initially been told that nothing could be done. CVS is fortunate to have a pharmacist like Joseph Chen. Employees like him remind us how much of a difference one person can make through patience, dedication, and genuine care for the people they serve. Thank you, Joseph, for not giving up on me and for providing the level of patient care that everyone deserves. You truly went above and beyond, and I hope your efforts are recognized and appreciated! Also, I think the initial lady didn't know or lied idk her name but she did it to shoo me away

Shopping in Alhambra, California…read more.. Still on the hunt for postcards, I was driving by this CVS Pharmacy, and decided to take a peek... Looked at some beautiful flowers, plants, and other cute merchandise, but no postcards. I even asked staff... she pointed to some calendars... nope... Another staff said that they don't carry postcards... Oh, well, I got a nice gift and used my coupons... yay!

This was a very big CVS store and the best part it was open 24 hours. The pharmacy was at the back…read moreside of the store. All the sections had excellent inventory of products. There were plenty sale and discount offers on a lot of the products. The store was mostly clean but restocking boxes were sitting around different aisles. We came to the store to pick up a prescription medicine. We waited couple of minutes until one of the techs assisted us. The process was quick and easy. We also shopped few snacks, water bottles and itching spray. I used the self checkout kiosk. Got to use several of the coupons from the CVS app. Overall seemed to be a very good store that is available to customers around the clock.

Honestly, the only people who come here just to complain tend to be difficult customers. This is a…read morevery busy store, especially with East Los Angeles College nearby and being on a major intersection. There's constant traffic, and unfortunately, a lot of theft--so yes, they limit what's out on the floor for a reason. Staff also deal with people coming in yelling or even being aggressive, which most customers don't see. If you had to wait 10-15 minutes, it's honestly not unreasonable. This isn't a drive-thru. A little patience goes a long way. That said, it's actually a good store with loyal, hardworking staff who do their best. The store is clean, well-stocked, and self-checkouts are almost always open. Most of the time, you're greeted when you walk in or at least see staff available. The makeup department specially Ileni & Connie are so nice. This store is consistently being stocked, and someone usually helps you within a few minutes. They'll explain sales and how to use your CVS ExtraCare card, and they're genuinely willing to help you shop if you ask. The photo department works mainly through the CVS Pharmacy app--if you use it correctly, your order is usually smooth. If not, that's more of a user error situation. Food items are always available, and I've never seen anything expired or questionable in the fridge. As for the pharmacy--understand they are extremely busy, especially with a hospital just minutes away. It's a 24-hour CVS Pharmacy location, so yes, expect lines and sometimes a tired or direct pharmacist--they're working around the clock. Bottom line: this is not your average CVS. It's high-volume, high-demand, and the staff are doing the best they can under pressure.
