The rudest staff I have ever encountered. My friend who gets her nails done there every two weeks, today they ridiculed her for telling the owner Tina, that she accidentally cut her. After seeing her nails, I decided to go in to see if they would refund her, when I asked to speak to the owner I was told neither of the owners were there (yet they were the ones talking to me and I knew that) I simply explained the situation and that my friend was covered in nail polish, glue, and blood from her service. They began to yell and say she can come in here herself after they talked poorly in front of her face for the rest of her appointment. Been going for years. If you like being talked about your entire service and being overcharged, this place is for you. There is color and glue all over my hands and fingers. They drill your skin and cut it, but don't apologize. Today, I simply stated the drill was hurting, as she was going very rough and fast (as if in a hurry) and the nail tech (also the owner-Tina) took it very offensively. She just kept saying "I don't know what you want" what I wanted was kindness and understanding that SHE was causing pain to ME-the customer. Terrible customer service. The customer does NOT come first, despite their signage. The owners do not care and are very unkind, especially the man. They also allow their staff to join them in talking about their customers. I have been coming to Lucky Nails for years. I don't necessarily think it's a "spa" environment. It's a nail salon. But I like it here, everyone is super nice. I do not go to a specific person, because I usually walk in, and everyone has their strengths. If you call, they are great about getting you in quickly. I get a gel fill/gel mani. I am currently going on 4 weeks between fills!! (picture attached). When I was actively working, I was washing my hands all the time (I try to stay away from hand sanitizers), I could go 2 weeks. My gel pedi has been on 6 weeks, no cracks, chips etc. Most of them can do nice nail art too. One con: I wish they opened earlier. read more

I had called ahead of time to specifically ask if they did a certain design and they had told me yes over the phone. I get there for my appointment and they can't do it so I decided to get a basic gel manicure. The woman cut my finger while doing my cuticles and my finger was bleeding through the entire manicure. She would occasionally wipe it with an alcohol wipe which felt GREAT. NOT. It's also my ring finger and the whole point of getting my nails done was because I thought my boyfriend was gunna propose. I used to be a loyal lucky nails customer but the last few visits have been less than exceptional. I dont think its the nail techs per say but maybe the polish? I got gel polish on 12/28. On 12/30 four nails were chipped and I went back to fix. Instead of completely removing the polish they hack job touched up the ends. Its now 1/4 & two of those nails are chipped again. I have been going to Lucky Nails intermittently for about 3 years. While I do like the services provided and quality of work, the place is always packed! There is a sign in list and you sign in whether you have an appointment or not. Depending in which tech you get, will determine length of visit and services rendered. You have to pay very close attention to prices as I noticed sometimes I get charged more or less for the same services. More color selections would also be nice. High five first review! I go this place mainly because my mom is here every 2 weeks for her acrylic refill and when I come home we usually go get pedis. This place has a sheet of coupons you can print out from their website for some $$ off of your various services. I have had only mani and pedis here, and the staff are very attentive and friendly, but I have to admit, EVERY time I come here my nails chip within 48-72 hours. I'm not sure if its a cheap topcoat, or what. My mom gets acrylics and is a regular so she loves it here. She has also gotten shellac and said they did a good job as well. I always make a reservation because my sisters and I usually go to get our nails done together and when I call I always ask if we can sit together..not sure why they always give me attitude about that. Okay sooo I've been getting my nails done for that last 8 years... that said the first time I came to luckys It was alright the shape was messed up but not a big deal you know so I decided to give it another try biggest mistake the reason I'm giving them one star is because they actually have boxes with brand new equipment for your nails which is really nice because other nail salons don't do that at all anyways so I go in there for a gel refill I can sit down and the guy that's doing my nails starts filing them down I told him skews me I don't want them piled down and I want the same color I had on before he puts on the wrong color and I tell him to change it that's not the color I asked for I asked for extreme French pink and he gave me bubble bath pink after asking him to fix my nails because he filed them crooked and they're all uneven he started jerking my hand around really rude like grabbing it my little cousin was with me and she saw the whole process. This is my local go-to nail salon. I was looking for a place to settle in and I couldn't be happier than I am with Lucky Nails. They assign you a tool box number so everything is nice and sterile, the girls are amazing, they're all so sweet and their top priority is your happiness. There was a time I was halfway through my full set and I decided I didn't like the color so she repainted them and just sat and laughed with me about it, I was so grateful. Very disappointed with the way lucky nails sneaks in hidden costs. I went in to get my two special needs clients basic pedicures which were advertised for $25. Well the final cost ended up being $40 each! They said this is because my clients asked for the "spa" pedicure. In reality, they suggested the upgrade and my clients-not understanding the difference-agreed to it. I was greeted by a friendly young woman, but she was not my operator, the one who did my nails, rushed me thru my color choice, was very unfriendly throughout the acrylic fill, rushed the whole process, did not have me wash my hands before polish application and filing is rough around edges. Honestly this place is a hit or miss. Sometimes the service is great mani and pedi done right and lasting. Other times it's just a disappointment. I recently went to get a mani and pedi French. First of all the French tips on my toes and gel nails were so thick it made my feet and fingers look fat! So awful. My pedi did not last my week long vacation in Florida and my gel nails started bubbling and peeling within 5 days, on the 7th day I had to take them off bc it started to bother me. Lucky Nails has been my go-to nail salon for the last four years! I always leave with my nails looking flawless and everyone there is friendly and accommodating! The only downside to this nail salon is that it is SUPER busy all the time so definitely make an appointment and the waiting area is very small. Wait, wait, wait, even when you make an appointment. The staff is nice enough (but they are working for tips), however, the mgmt or person in charge is usually pretty snarky with the customers. No apologies for 30 minutes late. 6:30 appt getting called at 7. The prices are also higher than most and there is no "spa" feel. It's get them in and out. Not the best quality of customer service. Been a customer for years and recently dissapointed in the quality of pedicures. Not to mention the techs talking in their foreign language the entire time that you are being waited on. Certainly makes you think that they are chatting about the clients. Unprofessional! Past experiences the tech was solely focused on the customer . Instead they socialize and work at the same time which has significantly decreased the quality of the pedicures. Why give them a 20% tip when the client hasn't felt that they were important. Concerned about their policies as well. Seems that some techs follow the policies and some don't. Worst pedicure experience ever. My boyfriend and I enjoy getting our feet done and have an open mind about pedicures; he is a hockey player so we understand that touching his feet might not be the best thing. This salon was chaotic, dirty, and overpriced for the service you receive. We payed for a 35 minute spa pedicure and we were pushed out of the chairs after 25 minutes. None of the typical dead skin removal was done other than a quick scrape with a stone. I will never return here. read more

I came to Lucky Nails on Monday to get my wedding manicure! As a bride, I am super picky and needed everything to be perfect. They gave me a gel polish French tip manicure, and even glued gel tips on my two broken nails to make them the same length. My manicure was applied on Monday, my wedding was Saturday and there was not a single chip in them! Absolutely flawless and the two fake nails look exactly like the rest of my nails! The quality of service at Lucky Nails has diminished significantly in the past couple years. I took a family member with me this week; we had both manicures and pedicures. She had French nails done and less than 24 hours later, polish on two of the fingers had completely peeled off, and she was not offered hot wax during the manicure. I will never go back. I had been going to this salon for at least 2 yrs. I was going away in 2 wks and said I wanted to make an app't for 2 wks from that date and my manicurist (who has done my nails for 2 yrs) said it was a Monday and it wasn't necessary to make an appointment. I called 2 wks later and was told my manicurist was filled completely for the entire day. (on a Monday) Finally they said she would take me in 30 minutes. I said I would rush to get in. I got to the salon 6 minutes late and they told me my manicurist took another client because I was late. After being a loyal customer for 2 yrs, my manicurist could not wait 6 minutes when I had just made the appointment. I will never go back but I'm not that unhappy. Not all customers are treated equally. I've been here a few times giving it "one more try" each time. The last time I went was the last time, the manicurist acted like she was annoyed by me. I went for a refill, which I do weekly since my nails grow very quickly. After my nails dried they didn't look impressive. Nails polish on my cuticles? I had my gels done there several times before. The first two times I was satisfied, the third time I was a bit upset that the job wasn't as well done and they got damaged within a day of getting them done. This last time however I was beyond disappointed with the service I received. I brought my own color with me because I had a specific look in mind and when the girl sat me down she saw I had my color and knew I just wanted to get my gels filled and have them painted. While I was getting them done she kept pressuring me to get soak-off gels. I repeatedly told her no and yet she kept asking, which was rude and made me uncomfortable. Another thing I found weird about them is that they require you to pay before they are done with your nails. It allows them to provide poor service and you can't even do anything about it because you've already given them the money. When they are shaping them and filing them down they also don't check to make sure the nails are the same length on each hand so now my nails are longer on one hand than the other. I will not be going back and now I have to have my nails redone because they look utterly disgusting. It was a waste of money. read more

If I could do 0 stars I would. I had the worst experience there on 7/21/16. To make a long story short, I've been going to this place for about 3 years and will not go back. They have a reward system where if you spend over $17,10 times, you can have a free basic manicure or pedicure. They stamp your card each time you've spent over $17. Well, I had one card with 7 stamps and another with 3, totaling 10 stamps. I provided both cards when payment was due for my pedicure and was denied use of the discount based on the fact that all stamps were not on one card. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager around. I asked when and how I could speak with a manger and was handed a basic business card with the number to the nail shop. I asked for a managers name and contact information and was denied the information. Then I asked for the owners information and they stayed the owner is never here and I don't know the owner. She was so rude and caused a scene. All eyes were on us. I did not yell or call her out her name. I simply wanted someone who had authority to discuss the issue with me. I will never go back there. I emailed the contact us email address about the matter and have not yet received a response. I will keep you posted.
