Been here previously and they did a great job, went to day and it was absolutely AWFUL. The guy who was doing my toes was rushing and my toes looked like they got painted by a 5th grader and I'm using white polish so u can truly see all the imperfections. Then on to my Gel mani even more awful, got cut four times and the polish was extremely dull needed one more coat. So she painted one hand 4times and the other hand 3 times , the design I asked for simple stripes she attempted 5 times and I just said it's okay but she insisted , she was rushing as well. The staff and atmosphere was warm and inviting, yet the whole place was vacant besides 1 woman getting a pedi in the corner. I had to get my nails fixed because the acrylics I had on from another salon were 2 weeks old and coming off. They only had gel acrylics at this pace and they didn't tell me this until the tech started painting it on, leaving me no choices on turning back. The salon is absolutely beautiful. They did a well job of configuring the spa space and it does feel like a spa when you walk in. The downside is That I was embarrassed with the quality of the work that was done on my nails. A lot of people asked me, " Who did your nails?" Not because they looked great but because they looked horrible. There were so many bumps and I cannot figure out how the technician did not notice. Typically I would not write a review, but I thought Love Nails deserved one. Even though it is new, I wanted to point out how clean it was and spacious. It made me feel like I was getting my money's worth because I got to relax. I came and got a pedicure with my little brother (11) and it was perfect. My brother loved it, it was his first. I had gotten the $80 Deluxe Organic Pedicure ( I believe ) and I believe I got my money's worth. Sometimes nail technicians do half a** job with the massage. But I had Jay do mines and he was very thorough. I am going back today again with my friends. And thought I should write a review. I've gone here twice and really enjoyed my time here, but their service has gone down since they first opened. I got the same pedicure both times and when I came the first time, it was when they first opened. The pedicure that time was amazing they took their time and I felt like it was worth my money. The second time I came a year later and I would say it was worth my money, however, I like my pedicure was rushed even though it wasn't busy at the time I came in. Also, the massage was great, but the scrub massage was a bit shorter than I expected for a $40 pedicure. What really got me was the paint job, while it was being done, I felt extremely rushed, and I felt the paint going on my skin and not being wiped away. Taking a closer look at my toes, the top clear coat is on the sides of my nails and on the cuticles, I wished my technician didn't rush through it because I am kind of picky with my paint job. I LOVED the massage I received on my back and neck while waiting for my toes to dry at the drying table, I had gone to get my toes done to de-stress myself after a long week, and that massage was the cherry on top. I don't know if you get the massage with the regular pedicure, but you do with the dream one and I expect you do with the more expensive ones too. Service: I had Devin(?) for both of my gel mani and pedi. It took roughly 1.5 hours. Which is completely normal. My gel pedi was GREAT. they lined the inside tubs with a plastic wrap (which is SO weird that that's not something normal up north) AND THEY USED A NEW NAIL FILER AND BUFFER. why the heck is that not common here? (In Texas, it's an absolute norm for all the places I've been!) Anyways, it's super clean and devin did great with asking me about water temp, pressure of his massage and shape/length of my toe nails and nails! I will be back. I started going to this salon shortly after they opened. At first I was a little unsure as there were only 3 technicians working. So the wait was sometimes long. However , I LOVED the Korean gel manicure product. I could go 3 weeks with no so much as a chip in the polish. The people there are very professional. The prices are comparable with other salons in the area. The salon is spotless and very pleasant. This week I visited the salon and noticed more technicians being trained. My big issue was they decided my tip for me, forcing me to pay a $20 tip for a $30 gel manicure, an amount I wouldn't mind paying if I had come to the decision on my own but I didn't get a chance to think of a tip amount as the man picked an amount for me.
