Two days ago I went to Style Nails and Spa for a toenail polish. They assigned me a new hire. First, she put gel polish on instead of regular, and because she didn't realize that, the polish ran. Luckily another technician saw what was happening. So another, more experienced technician offered to redo my nails. The real problem was that the new hire, clearly untrained, was digging out some polish that had run into the side where the skin is. I kept telling her it hurt. Two days later, it's infected and bleeding. I went back today because I thought I should let them know what happened. I told the owner, who then blamed me for messing with the polish. Then he offered to put antiseptic on it for me. Right .... He didn't apologize, rushed me out, and I had to ask for my money back. It was very unsatisfying to be treated so rudely after such an incident, especially since I was trying very hard to be sensitive about the situation. I felt bad for the new woman who was unprepared to do even a nail polish. I won't be returning. read more

After my last visit, I even brought 2 close friends. I request a female attendant for religious reasons. They keep wanting me to have the male worker saying he is the only one who works with acrylic nails. I know this not to be true. Then at the end with acrylic nails and normal polish, I was charged the same as someone with gel nail fill and gel polish. Now there own chart says this is not the price. This was our first time here and everyone was extremely accommodating to me and my boyfriend. We both got a deluxe mani and pedi which was not only relaxing but also very affordable for two people. I didn't catch the name of my nail technician but he was very kind, and humorous as well. It was my first time but will not be my last. Unfortunately the one person who speaks the most English is incredibly rude. While the dip powder is awesome, and lasts quite a while, if you don't take care, the powder gets everywhere including on nails where it didn't belong. By the time this happened I had had enough of this establishment and just wanted to leave. I took my mom here and we got mani/pedis. After spending quite a bit of money (~$200) I left quite unsatisfied and this was purely because of the service. There are lots of places to get a mani/pedi. Go somewhere else read more

I've been here a few times now and each time I have gotten a great gel manicure. Their tools are clean and they are all adept at applying the polish. DO NOT GO HERE. If you have to go, avoid the male technician at all costs. I went for a gel manicure and the male technician was extremely rude, the tools dirty, and he completely ruined my nails. He used a dremel power tool (absolutely not to be used on natural nails ever) on my nail bed down to skin before applying way too many coats of gel, even though I tried to tell him not to. It is extremely painful, I can barely type. I went to a different nail salon a couple weeks later to try to get the gel he did removed, and they were appalled. My nails are completely ruined with thin red spots where the skin is exposed. Consider yourself warned. read more

Went in hoping to get SNS because I called ahead and they said they do dip. Came in and they said they do the dip and that's he only color you get... almost all the dip colors were sparkly which I did not want at all. The spa I usually go to uses a white dip just to add thickness and length to the nail then after uses gel and I love how it comes out. I asked if they would do gel on top and they said no. But I was already there so I just settled for a gel manicure. The woman was distracted the whole time, my hand was put under UV light that hit not just the nails (like the normal ones) but my entire hand was hot and exposed to UV which is extremely hazardous. She also made me bleed while trimming my cuticles. Now it has been just 9 days since my manicure and almost all the gel has peeled off which is the worst experience I've ever had with gel. Went here before graduation for the first time. I got the Deluxe Spa Pedicure and it was so relaxing. They really took the time and my pedicure came out looking great. My feet and legs were nice and smooth. The massaging and massage chair were great. The facilities were really clean and the people were very nice. It is a really large space too! They prefer cash. But my friend and I didn't have any (because we weren't aware of the policy) so they let us use our cards. BUT in the future I will bring cash! read more

They gave some obviously loyal customers two stamps on their card and some free services. They were very pleasant, and of course, and importantly, the salon was very clean. Male technician cut all of my toes during pedicure. Two toes bled throughout service. One toe was so deeply sliced the technician put antiseptic drops directly into the wound to stave off infection. Several days later I still cannot wear shoes because my toes are so tender. I will never return to Style Nails or any other nail salon. I am completely traumatized from this experience. read more

I come here from Holyoke to get the spa pedicure!! They auctley take their time to message each leg and foot- it's clean. Using a plastic disposable liner in each foot tub, chairs are comfortable and the room is big and open so your not all on top of each other. The girls are always very friendly and speak good english. I do not usually get my nails done because the cost is not worth it compared to the time that my manicure lasts before I want to take all of the chipped polish off (even with gels). My sister told me about dip powder nails that she has gotten done here and how they last her around 4 weeks (even with heavy wear-and-tear and a hairstylist). She said they last longer than gel manicures and cost the same. I was interested considering the fact that if they last longer I could justify spending money on them. I had them done today, lots of colors to chose from and great service. I think only one of the people working can do the dip powder so you probably want to call ahead to make sure you can get them done but it was worth it! I'll have to see how long they last for me but I'm very excited and will definitely go back based on the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.
