Recently in the last year, I wanted to start getting my nails done at places that were smaller and more personalized, and this is as personalized and private as it gets! When we first walked in, Lucy made us feel very welcomed and at ease. You are the only person there and all the attention is focused on you. Lucy was so accommodating that she let my mom and I come in together and hang out with each other. Lucy is very funny and keeps the conversation going. Her attention to detail is amazing, as I was getting a more complicated design. She has a lot of patience and wanted to get the design just right and make sure I was happy without rushing. Elise Hamilton is one of the best in her field! She has been my cutter (is that even a a salon…read moreterm?!) and colorist for well over a decade now and i have followed her religiously throughout the Pioneer Valley. She's very hip and does an amazing job w/short edgy cuts. If you want to get risky with a cut and color she's happy to take you there. (While still making you and your hair look great!) What makes her such a pro is that she listens to what the client wants while taking into consideration their features and lifestyle and what would work best for them. She works hard to incorporate all of these elements into your cut/ color b/c Elise knows giving an amazing haircut is only half the battle. She understands the real challenge is making the cut easy for the client to maintain and looking good once they walk out the door. This is what makes Elise such a stand out in her field and invaluable stylist. When I was finally sat in a chair for my nails the lady who put on my nail extensions put on way to much glue and the next lady had to acetone them off! this is not even the worst part I asked for a white acrylic French tip and they 1 did not use acrylic and 2 added a hot pink under base that looks awful!! these nails are for my prom and now they have ruined it. If you go hear the only person that is good is Andy who did a fantastic job when I first visited.
