I especially liked the freshness of the vegetable ingredients in the bibimbap. I also liked the four banchan, including bean sprouts, lettuce kimchi, spicy zucchini, and broccoli. The ramyun noodles were chewy, and the broth had just the right amount of spiciness. The portions were moderate, and the service was, well, serviceable. It appeared that the restaurant is run by a two-person couple team. Things were busy during the lunch hour, so I didn't get a smile out of the staff or any water refilling. But the food was more than adequate. The menu is quite broad with Korean, Japanese, and Thai options.

I was skeptical at first because this isn't exactly an Asian-majority town and the menu had both typical Americanised Chinese dishes, sushi + sashimi, Vietnamese, and Thai food(?) and in the end, I was pleasantly surprised! I liked the tea, it was a normal $2.5 unlike how in most places, it'll be at least $5 for just tea-- mind you, plain, run of the mill green tea-- that goes even up to $8 at times.. Get the honey and ginger tea if you like the taste of the sweet broth from tangyuan. It tastes EXACTLY like that and they don't try to strain out the ginger zing. The appetizers, mainly the satay dishes were great! Well cooked with a slight char and the beef + chicken were both really tender! Light yet not excessively so; it's a good starter. Sushi was ... I'd rather not get it again. I went with two friends so I got to try three dishes! The fried rice wasn't bad and the curry was also okay. What I really liked was the classic Pad See Ew! Usually, restaurants tend to make it too salty or too sweet, but here, it was mild, almost like home cooking and because of that, I'd say it was my favorite Pad See Ew I've had! Nothing special, nothing extraordinarily flavorful, just a nice, pleasant meal to have that doesn't leave you feeling uncomfortable or greasy, not at all. I would recommend sticking with the Thai dishes; the employees were all Thai anyways. (Overheard them chatting) Service was good and they leave you alone to enjoy your meal. Extra: Prices were really reasonable. $14.5 for the Pad Thai and it was definitely a portion for sharing (between 2 people though, 3 if you're a small eater)

A chef should be able to use high heat to stir all ingredients quickly to make hot and fluffy fried rice. This fried rice would probably be one of the lowest ranks in my life. The rice is wet and heavy. I found many chunks of sticked rice. This somehow reminded me of Japanese fried rice. Japanese made fried rice are typically wetter side. Seasoning is below the low sodium order. It's really blunt and subtle seasoning. The kitchen was busy and I could hear they getting more calls over and over. So they tried to cook fast. But it shouldn't be the cause and effect. I wouldn't go back there for sure.
