    Tofu teriyaki

5-star food for the area. I feel like the food got better when they moved out of North Adams. This recent trip i got steamed mandus, tofu teriyaki and beef bulgoki. Everything was phenomenal. The banchan was also quality. Definitely a preferred fav in the area!

2.5. Nothing special. Food doesn't particularly have a lot of flavor which is unfortunate and disappointing. Nice menu selection, everyone can definitely find something they like. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is small and janky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is abrupt and a little slow. Probably wouldn't come again but there also isn't much else in the area to be honest.

We arrived maybe 45mins before they closed for lunch at 3 (seems they're closed 3 to 4 every day). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice simple interior and good, fast service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They served everything quickly but it didn't feel like they were rushing us. Still would be nice if the closure time was on Google or Yelp. I thought the food was delicious. I got the Kimchi Bokum which was like pan fried kimchi and pork. Not much pork but I didn't mind much. The bento box was also good and had interesting variety. My mom got the sweet potato noodles which were good but didn't have a super flavorful sauce. Still I thought the food service and everything else was great and the price was reasonable.

Korean Garden - A Hidden Gem in The Shire Korean food has always been one of my go-to cuisines when hunger strikes. But let's be honest--finding a great Korean spot can be tough in some areas. So imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon Korean Garden, a true hidden gem tucked away in The Shire. As usual, I walked in absolutely starving and ready to indulge. We were warmly greeted by a sweet ajumma at the door and seated by the front window. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was small and cozy, with only a handful of tables--just the kind of spot that usually means home-cooked goodness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered my usual favorites: Galbi, Bulgogi, and Spicy Udon Soup. My Korean came in handy and made ajumma smile when I told her I had lived in Munsan for a few years. She lit up, introduced herself and her husband, and we had a lovely chat. I mentioned I'd be relocating to The Shire soon and that they'd be seeing a lot more of me. The banchan came out first--and wow, we got a generous variety. They even asked if we'd like refills (dangerous question for someone like me). Each one was fresh and flavorful--if I wasn't careful, I could have emptied their fridge. When our mains arrived, everything looked (and tasted) amazing. The portions were big enough that I needed a takeout bag--which means lunch tomorrow is covered too! I'll definitely be back. Warm, soulful food. Kind, welcoming owners. Cozy atmosphere. Just the kind of comfort you need when living near the mountains.

After being in what feels like a food desert for the last couple months, I was so excited to finally have some real food towards the end of my time in the Berkshires. Korean Garden provided that comfort food feel that I really craved. The service was okay, but food came out quick. The food was pretty good, nice and hot, and just the right portion I was looking for. Definitely douse it in sriracha though. Wish I would have discovered this place earlier!

Hands-down, the best Asian restaurant in all Berkshire County. I drive 35 minutes often just to come here. The food is absolutely fantastic.

    Bulgogi

The Bulgogi was excellent and very tasty. We stopped up here on our way to Mass MOCA because of the good reviews and wanted to see if the food matched the reviews... And it definitely does... Highly recommend for lunch. Great luncheon special.

Tasting everytime before your meal. Everything was delicious and the second time there was something different!

This place is itty bitty with all of maybe 5 tables and boy is catching a seat a steal. The service is amazing and the food follows suite. Authentic Korean always hot and full of flavor. My go to order is the hot stone bi bim bap with pork and receiving it at the table makes me feel like Im in a studio ghibli film. Would definitely suggest for anyone unafraid to try new flavors especially in the small tasting dishes before the meal. Looking forward to trying more dishes!

Vegetarian kimchi ji- gae!!! Very delicious

They were able to make the Kimchi ji-gae vegetarian, which is very hard to find. The flavors were bright and delicious and mild spicy! So excellent! Kind service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Relaxed atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Beef bulgogi and other plates

Storefront in a big parking lot doesn't look like much, but this is an excellent little spot for the Adams/Williamstown area. They serve great authentic Korean dishes as well as a variety of other East Asian cuisines. I had the beef bulgogi which were spiced perfectly, with just the right amount of spicy kick. The ambiance is cute if a bit plain. The service was very nice. Definitely a gem!

We had a great sushi dinner at a table outside (with our Japanese Shiba puppy). Then, we were compelled to go back for oishii obento box lunch in next week in a serene Zen-themed tatami room. Bizen's food was very authentic. I am a native Japanese, naturally I can be a tough critic and yet, everything we had was super excellent from a Japanese perspective. My 9-year-old grandson enjoyed not only the food but, also Michael's Bizenyaki galley tour and was so inspired by his love for Japanese art! The grilled items taste like they were partially cooked before opening and then quickly warmed up. The chicken and beef are never hot or crisp. The sushi tastes like it has been around for a while. You know how sushi tastes when it is fresh. This does not have the taste. The staff is friendly enough and the rooms are tastefully done. But, I would rather supermarket sushi. I want to say nice things. I really do.

Looking for food in VT at 8:30pm on a Friday night in April shouldn't be difficult. But alas,…read moretonight it was very difficult. Saw this little gem on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was 9pm and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were courteous and attentive and our waitress was very sweet. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it was delicious. The sesame chicken was beautifully plated, complete with an edible orchid. The kung pao chicken and pepper steak came as you would expect so my husband and I teased the waitress about why we didn't get special plates with edible flowers. She was cute. The food was delicious and the portions just the right size. My husband asked for his king pao extra spicy and it definitely was not- but it's ok cause then we didn't mind sharing with him. I had the pepper steak and it was tender and flavorful. Everything was really good. If we lived nearby, we'd make it our go-to Panasian spot!
