STILL the Best Chinese food in PORTLAND! Gresham for sure, but this place has Portland beat too!! Ask for EXTRA SPICY on any spicy dish! Don't be scurrred...it's perfect! You'll get a fun little note too!!! This place ROCKS!!! Love love love it!

In my opinion, this place is a solid 3. My wife and I came here with some friends for a late bite. The place is small with "x" amount of tables which is isn't bad but if the place gets about half full along with a couple video poker people playing, you may be in for an annoying experience. It isn't just because the place is small...but it holds a bad echo effect. I noticed the few people that did show up came for take out which didn't surprise me. The service was good and on point. When the food came it was hot (almost too hot) and everything looked fresh. I ordered the Szechuan Lo Mein dish which consisted of primarily noodles with vegetable, chicken, and beef. It was actually a decent dish but it was just too spicy (and I can handle some spicy food). For me, it is rare that I go to a Chinese place that serves a spicy dish to the point that I don't want to finish it. Usually, it's not spicy enough but this place way overdid it. Also, I wished that they would have lessened the noodle ratio and added more vegetables to equal the overall portion of the plate. Overall, not a bad place. There is some good stuff to eat here. You will pay a little more than the average to eat here and may find some resistance if wanting to alter some of their dishes to your liking. I will come here again but most likely avoid their spicy dishes and order something with more vegetables to lessen the carb overload that usually dominates the plates that are typically served in these establishments.

I don't know why I haven't rated this place sooner but if you want some great Chinese food in outer Southeast this is the place to go. they usually have your order ready in about 20 minutes, they deliver or you can place your order via Yelp. The prices are reasonable the whole family is nice I have never had a problem with any of my food I've never gotten sick & their video poker machines actually be hittin! we always order the combination rice with chicken shrimp and pork I mean for $10 you can feed a whole family of five, the portion sizes are A-1.

Absolutely not worth delivery! I paid $55 for this small delivery! And only $5 was in delivery fees! I so regret this! I honestly feel like I got taken for a ride! I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed! Do not order from here!! Terrible food terrible portions terrible service! It may look big in the photo but it's honestly like a kids meal!! And when I called to ask about it I was hung up on! If you want good Chinese food with respectful portions and great ppl go to Hong Kong 97. I regret going out of my box, and it cost me $50!!

Oh I love this place!! I was visiting my gf and found this lil gem on yelp, so we had to try it. Oh boy were we thrilled with our decision!! We have since be there a total of 4 times in 2 months. Haha their lo mein is to die for! Friend rice is soooooo good, even 3 days later! We LOVE the green bean beef AND green bean chicken. I enjoyed he snow pea chicken very much but my gf is not a fan of that type of sauce. They have excellent hot and sour soup and egg drop soup as well!! Superb customer service!! So friendly and sweet! We love your restaurant and will continue to come back again and again! =] The flavors in each dish are amazing! This place is a total gem!!

Since we had our dog with us, we ordered everything to go and enjoyed it back at our hotel just down the street. Just a heads up if you're planning the same, there wasn't any outdoor dining available. Being from the SF Bay Area, one of the first things we looked for was Har Gow and Siu Mai, but they weren't labeled the way we're used to. After asking, we found out the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings are their Har Gow, and the Shrimp Siu Mai contains pork, which was exactly what we were looking for. We ordered two of each. We also ordered two Beef Chow Fun, Combination Fried Rice, Eggplant with Minced Pork, Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs, and three pear sodas. The dim sum absolutely hit the spot. The Har Gow and Siu Mai were well seasoned, nicely prepared, and exactly what we had been craving. The Beef Chow Fun was another winner. We were glad we ordered two because we found ourselves reaching for it more than the fried rice. The Eggplant with Minced Pork was also delicious. The eggplant was cooked perfectly -- tender without becoming mushy -- and the seasoning was right on point. I'm also glad we changed our order from the House Special Spare Ribs to the Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs. Unlike many versions, these weren't battered and fried, so the pork maintained a great texture while still being coated in a flavorful sweet and sour sauce. One unexpected favorite was the pear soda. It's made with Asian pear, so the flavor is much lighter and more refreshing than the sweeter pear sodas we're used to. The only hiccup? They're bottled with a traditional cap, and since we were staying in a hotel, we quickly realized we didn't have a bottle opener. Let's just say we got a little creative. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff noticed our large takeout order and packed it thoughtfully. They included six extra takeout containers, plenty of forks, chopsticks, and napkins, which ended up being incredibly helpful since we were eating in a hotel room with no paper plates or utensils. It's a small gesture, but one that definitely didn't go unnoticed. Overall, we were really happy with our meal. This place lived up to being on my bookmark list for over a year, and I'd happily come back the next time we're staying in downtown Portland.

The orange chicken was the best I've ever had, and the noodle dishes were fantastic. The strange thing is, I don't even like Chinese food, but this restaurant changed my mind. The service was good and the staff was attentive during our visit. Here is a breakdown of what we ordered: Hand-Ripped Youpoo Noodle: The absolute star of the meal. The wide, hand-ripped noodles had the perfect chewy texture you look for. They were tossed in a deeply savory, slightly spicy chili oil sauce and topped with a generous amount of perfectly seasoned minced beef and fresh bok choy. It was incredibly satisfying and a must-order. Popcorn Chicken: This was a bit of a letdown. While it looked golden brown and came with a sweet chili dipping sauce, it was not special at all and lacked any unique flavor or punch compared to the other dishes. Spicy Chili Oil Wontons: These were packed with flavor! The wonton wrappers were delicate, and the filling was juicy. They were swimming in a robust, aromatic chili oil that had a nice kick and a touch of vinegar sharpness. Why 4 stars instead of 5? While the noodles and wontons were excellent and the service was good, the atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable. The restaurant was completely empty when we went, but it was super cold inside because the window was wide open. Between the chilly draft and the fairly generic popcorn chicken, it misses out on a full 5 stars.
