Typical Chinese buffet. Food was fresh specially fresh raw fish maybe it was first day they open. They had some communication errors but i understand its first day. Not much crowded. Many staffs to take care of your group. They might need a big board with price. read more

I'm not sure what the low reviews are but I went in with a group of 12 people recently and everything was perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of space, clean environment, and lots of food to choose from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Any restaurant you go to with a large group charges a service charge, it's actually very typical so the service charge was not inconvenient to us or a hidden fee. All the food items were stocked and the waiter refilled our drinks consistently. Would definitely go again! read more

For the most part the food was good. The service was ok, not the best on mannerism and Customer Service, but it wasn't the worst. But I do feel they make too much money for this place not to be way cleaner. I went the second day they opened. There were only 2 tables. We arrived at 7:30 pm so it wasn't too late and the food should be fresh. Unfortunately everything was dried out properly because the food sat since there weren't any diners. The staff was super rude and wanted to go home so they were on us to leave at 8:15 pm. They came back 10 minutes later standing by our table staring at us so that we could leave. It didn't leave us with a good experience. The food was your typical mass produced shipped in to warm up Chinese food, Nothing special. The prices went up since they reopened as Luck barfe. It used to be $17.99 for dinner, now it's $20.99. I might go once in a while if I forgot how had it was but nothing brings me back for more especially the rude service. read more

This is a review of a buffet. You cannot expect to love every dish. You go for the variety and the value for your dollar. The place looks the same as when it was Hibachi Buffet and City Buffet. It was very clean and they cleaned up well after every table emptied. The food offerings were very much the same as before - lots of sushi, appetizers, a salad bar, soups, standard Chinese dinners (Orange Chicken, Chicken Chow Mien, etc), roast beef, bbq ribs and bbq chicken, salmon, shrimp in many presentations and dessert that included cakes, cookies, puddings, and ice cream. The roast beef was the best I have eaten in my 60 plus years. I am partial to well done and it was. It was juicy, had an excellent flavor and was super tender. I was able to create my own dish from the many offerings (beef, pork, chicken, lamb, shrimp, phony crab meat, and lots of fresh vegetables and eggs) cooked for me while I watched. My only negatives are that the appetizers weren't kept warm enough and there is definitely a language barrier. The servers speak minimal English. We went on a Sunday and it cost $19.99 each plus sodas were $1.99 each. They offer a discount for seniors and military. read more

Called ahead and asked "how much for Lunch for one today?" Spoke to Lee the manager. When I went inside it was $10 more. Now confused I asked why and he got loud and yelled at me. Stating I said for weekday and I had stated I understand but I called and asked for the price for TODAY he got even louder. Asked for manager he said he's manager and he doesn't care. I'm 6 months pregnant and wanted to treat myself I would have been okay with the price difference and miscommunication if he didn't yell at me instantly. I come here frequently for dinner but will never come here again for the clear lack of integrity and rudeness of the front staff. I am a very respected phlebotomist here in the antelope valley for 24 years. I have been coming to this Buffet since god knows when. I had no issues until recently.I'm a family oriented woman. I almost always come with my family here. We celebrate a lot of special occasions. The staff was extremely rude for the past 2 times me and my family ate here. The staff would not let us sit together they wanted to charge us 15% percent per person. The staff was guarding us the whole time taking plates when we were not even done with our food and also when we asked for things they made us feel like it was an inconvenience to them including one of my family members who is pregnant. We came in for lunch hour a couple of my family members ate food that came out as we ate and the staff came and put a tab on our tables trying to charge us for dinner as well. In conclusion I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!! They charged us an arm and a leg to eat food that made me and my girls sick and the food was not good at all, the place we use to love to celebrate special occasions for years is being ran by a staff that is unprofessional...rude.....unciv il,abrupt, inattentive and insolent. This was my first & last time going to this restaurant. I was referred here by an acquaintance, I came with family 12/15/24. The restaurant is large inside & appears to be kept clean. The staff do not smile, greet or respond to greetings. Staff do not look you in the eyes or respond to 'thank you'. Staff do remove dishes fairly quickly & refill beverages in a reasonable amount of time. These issues were more or less easy to overlook. The food was the greatest failure of the restaurant. Variety in the restaurant is nice. They focus on American styled Chinese food, think panda express, but as a buffet. There were 4 different kinds of shrimp, all 4 were overcooked resulting in mushy dry pasty texture in you're mouth. Awful & flavorless. The noodles were overcooked & had no taste. Fried shrimp tasted like the oil was reused too many times. The roast beef was the saving grace. It was flavorful & cooked slowly. It peeled apart with a spoon! This is exactly what you expect from a slow roast. There was a limited variety of sushi that some of my family members stated tasted good. I was too afraid to try the oysters considering the manner other foods were cooked. I also did not try the made to order steaks. Food looked good & appeared to be of good quality just poorly prepared or poorly seasoned, simply the cooks are inadequate. There were plenty of staff keeping up with spills common at buffets & keeping the overall atmosphere nice. The restroom was clean & stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, & soap. It smelled clean & had no trash on the floor or any signs of being unsanitary. There was some graffiti in the restroom however I do not fault the restaurant for some of its patrons having low class. At the time we went everyone behaved with respect no one was loud no crying babies, no obnoxious patrons loudly on their phones or having loud inappropriate conversations. No kids coughing or sneezing unattended at the buffet. The atmosphere was appropriate. The great fault was how food items were cooked. I will not repeat this restaurant & felt it deserved a fair & honest review since I was referred to them as a 'good' place to eat. I've been coming to this place for 8 years since it was Sakura I was never treated badly the place was reasonable back then for the price and everybody was nice the food was whatever but it was okay my wife and I went there tonight they tried to see this at a table with the hardwood chairs and I asked them if we could sit at a table with a padded seat because my wife's pregnant I want her to be more comfortable and they said yes and agreed and we never got our drinks the whole time we ate and then when I asked them why we didn't get drinks the manager said because our waiter said that we didn't want to sit in the hour signed seats so he refused to serve us and the manager knew the whole time and didn't do anything about it or try to give us another server when we asked our waiter if we could sit there and he said yes no problem your wife's pregnant it's okay and then he refused to service the whole time we were there not good people I wasn't asking for too much my wife is pregnant I just wanted her to be comfortable that's horrible read more
