The food here is terrible! The rice has no flavor. The egg flower soup tasted like scrambled eggs in water. And the chow mein and soup were both orange! Like neon orange. How? I saw a few people waiting for their orders. Definitely worth it to order ahead. Inside was bright with a few tables on one side of the shop. Looks like it's mostly for pick up orders. Some dishes should be made to order so it's fresh. So just be aware some of the "crispier" foods may not be as crispy. But the chicken dishes we had were pretty tasty considering the price and quantity. The portions are large! So be prepared to share family style. Ordered Pepper chicken, jalapeño chicken, kungpao shrimp, egg foo young, green bean chicken. Not complaining had some good flavor as you would expect from fast food Chinese. The chow mein may need a little dressing up with some sirriacha. Overall not bad. It's in the older shopping plaza east Palmdale side of town. Portion sizes are HUGE that is for sure; but all of the food tasted old; was dried out; and everything was very very salty. Even the egg rolls and fried shrimp was tasteless. Considering how cold and windy the weather can get in the Antelope Valley, especially this time of year, I felt like having some wonton soup would be the perfect meal for this climate. My cousin had spoken highly of this place and it was not very far from his place in Lancaster so we figured why not come and try it. As we entered the restaurant, it was quite empty, we were able to order our food quickly then we waited. There is not a lot of seats or tables in here, but I realized that most people who order food do not even sit in and eat here, they take it to-go. It took a while for the soup to come out. I always assumed they keep a huge vat of it ready in the back but I guess this was not the case here. I constantly had to go up and check if it was ready until it eventually was. The woman working the front counter was even nice enough to give us a free bag of noodles in compensation for the wait, which I appreciated. I give her much credit as shortly after we ordered, it got extremely busy in there. There was people coming in practically nonstop and she was the only person out front dishing out orders. So even though the service was not exceptional, it is entirely understandable and I liked how they even compensated for it and were very respectful about it as well. The soup itself was not anything amazing, but it was a rather generous portion that left me satisfied. My only complaint is that the orange chicken didn't have any orange sauce, it was more like a glaze of some kind (nothing orange) and the "spicy" fish was not spicy at all. I also like my coconut shrimp to have more of the coconut cream on it but all and all this place was decent. I also wish these Chinese food places would stop calling spring rolls egg rolls. This was my first time coming here and I was very pleased! I ordered online and went to pick up the service was quick and the lady was very helpful. The ambiance smelled so good and was very clean. Once I got home to eat I was surprised on the amount of food given to me. Usually my tray is never filled at other places but here they gave me such a good amount that I got full and still had some leftover. Gross. Food is very bland. There's no flavor. Fried rice looked like white rice with a sprinkle of soy sauce. Chow mein noddles were bright orange. Barely any oyster sauce in the beef broccoli. Beef was also rubbery. 2 stars for the orange chicken because that was the only thing I was willing to eat to get my hunger out the way. The egg rolls weren't even fried long enough for me. Definitely frozen like most places but this wasn't it. They didn't give me plum sauce/sweet sour sauce for my egg roll either. Added soy sauce on the whole dish and it did absolutely nothing.
