Not the same. I used to like this place, was decent. Not coming here again, the orange chicken, the rice, the chow mien, kung pao chicken, chicken teriyaki, ALL taste very different, not in a good way. My family & I personally didn't like this food, anymore. Also check your order, because they forgot to add my egg rolls, yes I was charged.

Supposed to be sesame balls but it's odd texture flavorless cracked dough balls

I don't know what this is but it is not a sesame ball. I don't trust them enough to make it right since service was horrible.

    Mongolian BBQ

Fake steak. No good. The Mongolian and pepper so called steak looked like soups. Well if that is good to you people, go ahead. But here is what actual steak looks like fyi:

3 Big ass pieces of orange chicken in a medium a la cart container
    Shara F.

This is pretty much the only Chinese Food place I go to. The food is good but lately ( depending on who is serving the food) they tend to put BIG ASS pieces of the orange chicken in the bottom of the containers to take up space. I got 3 in my order. This is so messed up especially when trying to feed small children. They try to hurry you down the line so you cant see your food being prepared. WATCH YOUR FOOD.

The food is really good, and they give you plenty. The food is fresh, and hot. The workers are nice too.

Walking in, they had plenty of booths and tables that can accommodate both small and large groups. You order before you sit down, and they also have a self-serve water station. We tried the Egg Rolls (3 pieces) and Dumplings (5 pieces) for appetizers, and for our main meals we ordered the Beef Stew Soup and the Glass Noodle Chicken Soup. The egg rolls and dumplings were crispy and flavorful, and the sweet and sour dipping sauce paired well with both. I actually thought I had ordered the beef pho, so I was surprised when the beef stew came out but that was completely my mistake. It ended up being a pleasant surprise because it was hearty, full of flavor, and reminded me a lot of sopa de res. The Glass Noodle Chicken Soup was much lighter, with a clean, comforting broth that made for a great contrast to the rich beef stew. Both soups were generously portioned. The customer service was friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to coming back to try more items from their menu.

The restaurant was clearly overcrowded, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner became rude and disrespectful. The owner repeatedly complained that they were overwhelmed and couldn't handle additional guests. Rather than providing good customer service or communicating respectfully, he turned customers away and made us feel unwelcome. Eventually, we were asked to leave despite there being available seating when we arrived. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but there is no excuse for poor customer service or rude behavior toward paying customers. If a business cannot manage being at full capacity, it should have a better system in place rather than taking frustration out on guests. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

With that said, I was sadly disappointed with Shandra Thai. Starting with the Thai iced tea: it wasn't the worst I've had, but definitely not the best. It tasted like it was brewed from tea (which is a plus), but it had way too much milk added, which diluted the flavor. It was also overly sweet. On the bright side, the portion is huge for $8, so it's definitely shareable. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp pad thai, which is a pretty standard dish. It was decent and came with a good amount of shrimp, but the flavor leaned way too sweet for my liking. I ordered the wor wonton soup, and this is where things really went downhill. The broth honestly reminded me of those seasoning packets that come with instant ramen--very salty and lacking depth. It was so salty that I could only manage a couple of spoonfuls before I started to feel sick. I'm also fairly certain the shrimp in the soup was frozen (see photo). It's disappointing to pay $18 for a dish that ends up going to waste. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be coming back.

I've been coming to Great Wall since before I was even a teenager. They've been around for decades, and I'm genuinely glad they survived the pandemic. It's also nice to still see some of the older staff around. They've always been very kind if not amazing. Back in the day, the restaurant used to serve chips and dip with jasmine tea at no charge, but those days are understandably gone. My husband and I usually like to order the egg flower soup, orange chicken, fried rice, and beef and broccoli dishes. The portions are still generous, and the prices are still great, which I appreciate. But sometimes the food itself comes out bland, or the soup tastes like it has been sitting around for a bit. We've never gotten sick from the food just to be clear, but the quality and flavor are not always as consistent as they used to be. We still love coming here because this restaurant has such a special place in our hearts, but it is sad to see how much it has changed. Even the interior feels outdated now, and the color and atmosphere seem like they've lost some of their old spark. Overall, Great Wall is still meaningful to me, and I'll probably continue coming back from time to time, but I do wish the food quality and atmosphere felt more like they used to.
