You won't be happy, Lucinay will make sure of that. I had to go with the granite people my builder uses, which is Lucinay. I didn't get to pick my slabs (I've always been able to pick my granite slabs with three other builds). Lucinay was told by the granite supplier that I didn't want any slabs with weird marks or stains. Everyone assured me I wouldn't get any slabs with stains. Guess what?!?! There is a quarter size black stain on my gray granite right at the front edge of my bathroom sink!!! They could have positioned it in the back where it would have been covered by the backsplash, but noooo....they put it right out in front and center. Jerks. If that's not bad enough, my island in the kitchen is not level, so eggs, pens, etc go rolling off the edge and Lucinay told my builder the biggest BS story - that there is a Lb industry standard that's they can be off level by as much as 1/4" across the width of the granite and mine is off by 1/8" so they won't fix it. So, my dream kitchen that I put all my extra money into is now a nightmare because my island, where I do most my food prep, isn't level. Don't use this company. They are incompetent and you'll be unhappy after spending thousands of dollars. I will happily change this review to a positive review if they come level my island. This company was recommended to me by MC Construction. We were told that they offer remnants which would be a great option for bathroom countertops. We found a really great piece for the master bathroom and also another piece for our hall bathroom. This helped cut down on the cost and when they were installed they were absolutely perfect and beautiful. But where they really proved themselves is when they took the two expensive slabs that we bought elsewhere and turned them into some of the most beautiful kitchen countertops you've ever seen. Along with the countertops we also added a 5 inch tall back splash of granite in the kitchen. What amazed me was how well they lined up the flow of the organic material as it flowed along the countertop into the backsplash. This was our greatest concern that in fact it would contrast instead of complement the organic flow of this gorgeous stone. But as you can see they did not disappoint and got it perfectly right. These are true craftsmen who do the job right and they certainly impressed me. Keep in mind fabricating granite countertops is expensive but their price and their workmanship are both fair and excellent. read more

Jaime is a true professional. It took us a while to find the right pieces for a kitchen update. I had an island and a small addition that would not have used up a whole slab. Jaime helped me find remnants to complete my project at a manageable budget. Stopped in to the Lucinay Granite at Seward Junction near Liberty Hill Texas. Was met by Michael who discussed what we were interested in. Gave us price per foot and scheduled an appointment to do measurements. The very next week he came to our home. Measured gave us a price and said technicians would be here in a few days for actual measurements to cut by. They came and the very next week we had our granite countertops. Everyone was polite, did what they said and cleaned up. We love our Black Pearl Leather, granite counters! We would definitely recommend Lucinay Granite. 5 stars read more

There are things that were good and bad about my granite install experience. I will do my best to give a fair review. While overall I am happy with how things turned out, I would probably not use them again. Here's why: Michael was very nice and worked with me on price. Especially when I had told the granite distributor I wanted to look at level 2 granite and under and Levantina ended up showing me a 4 that was on sale for a 3. I was ready to go pick something else, but Michael adjusted his price to the best he could do for our sqft which was $4,800. Even though it was about $1,000 more than the max I wanted to spend, we ended up going with his revised price. We were on a tight budget for our remodel. We started our relationship wanting a very large remodel of removing a fireplace, a few walls, and possibly needing a bunch of tile. We decided for a house that would eventually be a rental that we did not feel comfortable spending that much on this house. We ended up only getting granite with Lucinay. I actually really liked Michael, he's friendly and likable. Here's the good: The granite template was wonderful! The guys came out, were polite, measured and templated, left my sink even! So I basically had most of the use of my kitchen until install day which was like 5 days later. On install day the guys were fast, but they tried to leave my backsplash up (I was planning on replacing, but thoughtful of them) and used a tool to remove the bottom 1/2 inch and there was dust throughout my entire house. Had I been warned I would have covered more stuff... I am still cleaning up weeks later. They did vacuum the big stuff, but I wish they would have just ripped it out and not worried about the tile it would have made less mess. My granite was cut beautifully and there was only 1 seam that you can barely see. The crew was nice and really worked with me to get the bar top right. The edges are great! The downside? I have a golf ball size hole near my bar top that they filled with something squishy. I wish they had just left it so I could repair it properly. Michael took a picture, but then never followed up. It is going to be hard to fix on my own. I also had to do a lot of clean up on my own. The floors were awful, dust every where, and I had to take a razor blade to the granite to remove all the markings from the top and excess glue? I guess. I was scraping for awhile. I feel like that was something that would have been done by the installer. I asked later about some extra granite for a few side pieces and was told a price. I asked if it could just be cut out of the sink cutout for me, and supposedly I only paid for "X" amount of granite sqft and I guess somehow the sink cutout was not part of the sqft I paid for. I ended up not needing the pieces, but I thought that was weird. Also, I guess my bartop support was not included in the original price so that got tacked on at the end. We were supposed to have them also install the backsplash and then install about 170-190 LF of baseboards, do a built in storage bench, and route out some cabinet doors for glass, but when I texted Michael that I wanted to try and save some money and install the backsplash myself, he didn't respond to my text so I figured he was either busy or mad at me. A week or so later I asked him if he was still going to have the carpenter do our baseboards when he got back from vacation and they were "too busy" to work with us. I understand that, but going in he knew I was on a budget. I guess as a professional, I expected him to say something like... "Hey we have some big jobs and I can just see if they have time to squeeze you in later but these other jobs have priority right now" but it was more of a "I don't need your business." The tile job was only going to be $750 for labor. It wasn't a big job, but it was a bit of money for us and helped recoup how much more we paid on the granite. So I guess my take away is that I am very happy with my final product, but if you have a super nice house, I can't imagine one of the golf course houses across the street having wall damage left like that or all the dust without a warning. I am trying to picture someone with a lot more money scraping away adhesive and sharpie measurement markings with a razor blade off their counter with a razor blade. Expect to complain to have them do some stuff afterwards if you don't want to do it yourself. I didn't expect that. I had granite installed in another state once before and I never experienced any of these issues. read more

I used Lucinay Granite to replace the counters, and bar top in my kitchen, they were able to remove the old granite without any damage to my back splash which I wanted to keep, so I was super happy about that. The guys were all very good, kept everything cleaned up, did a super install on the counters and bar top. I would definitely recommend them, and I would use them again. Michael who did the estimate was very good, followed up, and he was the one who sold me, he was very polite, honest, and not pushy...They did an excellent job, and I am super happy. read more
