Antonio did three recent projects for us…read more 1) Antonio remodeled bedrooms and a bathroom in our 30+ year old dated house.  He is very proficient with framing, drywall and finishing, painting, tile, etc.  He can do it all.  The tile in the bathroom is beautiful and the finished product is wonderful. 2) Antonio installed shiplap on our chimney and mounted our TV on it.  He attached 2x4s to the masonry walls as a foundation for the shiplap.  He included 2x6s as needed for the TV wall mount.  He finished the corners with molding and spray painted. The finished product is beautiful. 3) Antonio replaced the railings on our 30+ year old large deck.  We were concerned that young children could dislodge nailed pickets and fall 15 feet.  The structure would stop a football player from being thru.  We are very pleased with the form and function of the new railing.  Antonio and his crew completed the work in one day.  They were efficient, hard working and everything was cleaned up nicely.

Bespoke owner, Justin, brainstormed the project logistics with me and assigned an excellent craftsman/carpenter to complete. They encapsulated my popcorn ceiling and inlaid paneling into the coffered ceiling, while preserving and reusing the original molding. They removed an awkward lamp that had been installed through a beam, as well as an ancient whole-house exhaust fan and vent, adding joints to support a new plywood ceiling to replace the large vent hole. Finally, fresh paint and then inset lighting and BOOM the room came ALIVE! They respected my space during the job and went above and beyond to clean along the way. Above all, I felt completely safe throughout the entire experience. Bespoke will be at the top of my list to call for future projects!

I'll note that I have owned several homes and have hired contractors for various projects throughout the years. This is to say that I have a pretty good sense for good and bad. So here you go... I cannot say that my experience with MYWH Construction ranks very high. Bottom line is that we did not get the end product that we desired and we certainly paid premium for this service. The issue is that there were a lot of conversations between me and the owner so it comes down to who's word you believe more as to what was expected versus what was delivered. But I know this. In all businesses that require customer loyalty, the customer is always right. As we got towards the end of the various projects, I started to question what I thought was missing. Then the communication broke down completely and he (and his crew) stopped communicating. My wife would call and text to see if they were going to show up and the never gave the courtesy of a response. I regret my choice in choosing MYWH Construction. They had come highly recommended by my real estate agent - with whom I hold in high regard. I would advise folks who are considering this type of work to interview several before deciding (which is my typical process). In fact, in the early stages of the project, I got estimates for additional work and MYWH came in 2x the price. The other contractor did great work. Second piece of advice would be to choose a contractor near your residence. This shop was 45 min to an hour away which is probably one of the reasons why they were untimely. It is a shame too because fixing a few small things would have made a big difference. Final Reasons for Rating: -Final product failed to meet expectations -Time of project too long -Cost did not in line with finished product -Poor customer service Note: Dove tail drawers came out nice but that is the only part of the project that did.

Mick's team tore our all existing cabinets, backsplash, floor tile and took down a pony wall and column (non load bearing). He also identified and repaired extensive termite damage around our window. His team laid wall to wall floor tile in herringbone pattern, installed backsplash and feature walls, installed recessed lighting and a chandelier, installed all appliances and plumbed the sink, as well as removed popcorn ceiling, retextured and and painted ceiling and walls throughout kitchen and living room.
