He was very pleasant. We didn't feel the least bit self conscious having him in the house, even when our dogs were being crazy. Second, he did a fantastic job on the sink and it was not simple. He replaced a 6 inch deep two basin sink with regular faucets with a new single basin 9 inches deep. He put a touchless faucet on there, and redid the pipes underneath to accommodate the old garbage disposal. All of this cost less than 2X what I had been quoted for the outside faucet replacement alone by my plumbing maintenance company.

I recently hired Austin Professional Painters for a pretty large project: we had remodeled our…read morekitchen and had installed new shiplap, headboard, and chair rail throughout the main areas of our downstairs. The cabinets and walls needed a total refresh of paint, and all that new woodwork had tons of caulking/filling/sanding/priming etc to do. Then we needed new crown molding added to our half bath, and there were several sheetrock patches plus some ceiling cracks which needed good prepping and feathering in. Also, our front and back doors needed to be repainted. So - a lot of work! And I am picky about quality. I chose Austin Professional Painting because they seemed well organized, well qualified, and ready to go at a scale of enough workers that we could get back to living in the downstairs of our house in a reasonable amount of time. Their comfort with good quality paint was also a key factor in my choice. So: the guys who came out to do the work, Carlos and Ivan - plus another couple of guys on certain days, were very nice, polite, and extremely hard working. They did a very good job and I am satisfied with the work. I would hire Austin Professional Painters again (and probably will this fall when we get around to renewing the master bath), and I definitely recommend them. While I had a basic idea of what I wanted, I debated getting a formal project manager to handle coordination of the full install. With a ton of experience doing this kind of install, Marcus helped out so much that I was pretty much able to handle coordination of the main pieces and personnel without needing to hire anyone else. He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

We later hired a licensed plumber to inspect and correct the issue. Overall, the quality of work did not meet our expectations. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.
