When I first reached out, this handyman told me he had a "really good product" for my project which turned out to be caulk, not sealant, even after I clearly explained what I needed. That should have been a red flag. I also sent him a photo and all the product details a week ahead of time, and he said he could get it. On the day of the appointment, he admitted he never got it. His scheduling was disorganized, he tried to change the agreed time, and communication was slow throughout the process. He seemed unsure of basic materials and not confident in his work, which made me very uncomfortable trusting him with any repairs. Overall, he came across as unprepared, unskilled, and unreliable. I requested a general quote on Yelp for reducing water pressure of our house and repairing a faucet and Honey Do Service responded they can do for $250. I asked them confirmation if the price was for both; installing the reducing pressure valve and repairing the faucet, and they responded " Yes ". When I told them we want to use their service, he pulled back saying " who told you that you need a pressure reduction valve, I'm not a plumber ". I'm not sure what to think. read more

I was super impressed with these guys. I had a beeping malfunctioning smoke detector with on a 22ft ceiling that i couldn't reach. And with my two 10month old babies at home, I needed to get this fixed ASAP so they could sleep. These guys had a full day already when I called them but they squeezed me in at the end of the day. They came and replaced the smoke detector batteries for me as well as looking at some light bulbs on a high ceiling lamp too. Unfortunately the smoke detector started beeping again that night due to a malfunction (not the battery). These guys came back out the next day after hours at no extra charge (original price was very fair too) and fixed the smoke detector situation for me, and they even bought new light bulbs for me bc my own previous replacement bulbs ended up not fitting the ceiling lamp.
