Larry absolutely knocked it out of the park. We hired him to build a custom accent wall with an integrated fireplace, and the finished product exceeded every expectation we had. This was an important project for us because the wall is now the centerpiece of our living room, and Larry treated it with the same level of care and attention to detail that I imagine he would give his own home. From the very beginning, Larry was kind, honest, straightforward, dependable, and incredibly easy to work with. There was never any pressure, games, or wondering where we stood. He communicated clearly, explained what he was doing, offered thoughtful recommendations when decisions had to be made, and was completely transparent throughout the process. It is increasingly difficult to find someone in the trades who combines genuine integrity with excellent craftsmanship, but Larry is absolutely one of those people. The quality of his work is outstanding. The accent wall came together beautifully, the fireplace installation looks clean and professionally integrated, and the entire project has a polished, custom-built appearance rather than something that looks like it was simply added onto the room. His attention to detail, patience, precision, and pride in his work were obvious throughout the entire job. He also respected our home, kept the work area organized, and made sure everything was finished properly rather than rushing just to get to the next job. Beyond the craftsmanship, Larry is simply a good, honest person. He is personable, respectful, trustworthy, and the kind of contractor you feel completely comfortable having in your home. That means a great deal to us. When someone is working inside your house for an extended period, character matters just as much as technical skill, and Larry gets five stars in both categories. We could not be happier with the finished accent wall and fireplace. It has completely transformed our living room and turned what was once a plain wall into the focal point of the entire space. We have already received compliments on it, and every time we walk into the room we are reminded that hiring Larry was absolutely the right decision. If you are looking for someone who is honest, skilled, dependable, fair, meticulous, and genuinely cares about the quality of his work, I cannot recommend Handyman Services By Larry highly enough. We would hire him again without hesitation and will absolutely be calling him for future projects. Five stars does not feel like enough. Thank you, Larry, for the beautiful work and for being such a pleasure to work with. Highly, highly recommended. read more

Larry was the first to respond and the quickest to arrive to help! I needed help repairing some fence pickets, and I had a mystery leak with my shower. Larry took one look at the shower and spotted the problem immediately. He knocked out all the repairs in a little over an hour! Great guy to work with on those random repairs all us homeowners have. A little pricier than I'd like, but his speed and expertise really make up for it. Thanks, Larry! read more

Larry is so good. He can fix anything. Call him! I have used him two times and everything was done exactly how I wanted

I called Larry to ask about getting a door repaired. We had a house guest who was wonderful but accidentally got on the wrong side of a door when it was cold on the wrong side. Since he was a dog he had no way of opening the door and since he was 165 pound Great Dane he decided to try anyway. His approach was to simply eat/dig his way through. He did not succeed. Several feet of door and frame were injured. Repairs were needed and I found Larry on Yelp. That was a bit of luck. Larry responded quickly, did an excellent repair, and charged a very reasonable fee. He clearly has considerable experience. He is now our go-to handyman and we recommend him for you also. read more

If reading this and in need of a reliable handyman, BOOK LARRY!!! I can fully attest to Larry's outstanding service. Larry is attentive, responds in record speed and very affordable. As a woman in need of furniture assembly from a trustworthy and honest professional, happy I decided on Larry. He not only assembled my $2k Dining Room chairs in 2022, but used him again in 2024 to assemble a Webber grill for Memorial Day. In less than 24-hours he scheduled me in. Wow! Larry is nice, personable while hard working and meticulous on the quality of work performed. Definitely my go-to guy! read more

Larry is incredible. He came in an hour on a Saturday. Resolved my plumbing crisis in about 45 minutes and charged me the honest fee he said he would over the phone. Plus he is personable and funny and a joy to be around. read more

I had a few kitchen table chairs that were in need of repair. The legs were wobbly and I was afraid the chairs would give way with someone sitting in them. I sent out a quote request to multiple folks who handle this type of work and Larry was quick to respond. He asked for details of the project and said he could come take care of them right away. We agreed on a price and he offered to come out on a Sunday afternoon. I'm not used to folks offering to come out right away on a Sunday. That was unexpected and appreciated as work weeks are usually chaotic. The chairs are now fixed and I hope to get several more years out of them. Larry was a joy to work with and we'll definitely keep him in mind when we have other projects around the house. read more

Super friendly and came out same day, right away, and fixed my door that was jamming. Highly recommend.

I got a bid from Larry and decided not to have him do the repairs on the estimate. The biggest problem was he wanted to charge me fees for using my credit card. read more

I wouldn't know how his services are, because the man is completely flaky. He came over, looked at what I wanted to have done at my place, And even then, he was pretty rude the whole time he was here. Made me feel uncomfortable as a single woman. He told me that he would have a quote for me tonight, and then texted me and said, "I'm sorry I'm not able to give you a quote." Gave me NO explanation as to why. What a total flake and ass move. read more

Larry installed a deadbolt for us. He was kind and honest and tried to keep the doorstep clean after all the cutting and drilling, and we got to watch the eclipse together. I'd definitely recommend him. read more

Larry installed 4 Brondell bidets for us in our home in Georgetown. He also repaired one of the flush tanks. He was prompt, polite, pleasant and reasonable. He was meticulous about his work, punctual and did not charge me when he had to come back twice to make adjustments to the flush. I would give Larry more stars, but 5 is the maximum. Thank you Larry! read more

Very pleased with the responsiveness and workmanship adjusting our front door. Also very pleased to meet Larry and solicit him for future projects. He is limited in what he will tackle at this time in his life (no ladders, no really heavy work). However, I highly recommend him for anything that he is willing to bid on. read more

Larry was great to work with. I would recommend him anytime. He did what was needed for a small fence repair efficiently .

Larry was very responsive, his prices were fair, and he works fast. Would definitely recommend for any handyman project.

Larry broke my display monitor while mounting it on the wall. He shirked responsibility of the damage and blamed customers instead. Due to his lack of accountability, I will never recommend him. read more

I will be honest this company responded very fast about my project but they should know some one using this service first time so they can be little more helpful and polite conversations with customers. read more

I was installing a bidet for my wife and lost all sense of myself. I couldn't get my fat arms at the right angle around the toilet and wanted to hulk smash the whole thing. After 2 hours of watching water leak through my cross threaded disaster, I called Larry. He responded immediately. It was a Saturday night around 7 and he made time and came on over. The demon polynipple was beyond repair but Larry quickly went to Home Depot and got the right parts and fixed it. I'll call Larry again and again for any home issues I can't take care of.
