The new slides were installed half-inch higher than the previous ones, as a result, we could not get the taller canisters into the drawer easily. Kevin is absolutely wonderful - he is very punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and very reasonable. I asked him for help with a few tasks where some doors needed to be repaired, plus a couple other tasks. Not only did he do a fantastic job fixing everything, he also explained why I was having the problems in the first place, and what I should be doing to avoid having similar problems in the future. He didn't waste any time getting to work, and cleaned up when he was done. He charged me a very reasonable hourly rate, and didn't try to over-bill me for anything. My only word of caution would be that because he is so good and popular, his schedule seems to get booked a few weeks out, so you may want to reach out to him early. In my case, he initially told me a date that was several weeks out, but he was happy to accommodate me on short notice when he had a cancellation. Kevin responded to my request through Yelp and made an appointment for 2.5 hours. He was on time and got straight to work. During that time he installed a weather strip which thankfully he advised me should be ordered from Anderson direct. This was a difficult job for one, but he took the door apart, removed old and installed new weather strip, oiled and lubed all parts of the door and put it back and it works better than before. He addressed an outside door that needed attention and noted a problem with the door handle, caulked around the kitchen sink, realigned a kitchen cabinet door, installed a ring doorbell and hung an articulating arm and mounted the TV on it too. All in 2.5 hours. Now we are making another appointment for a few more items. Be patient, he's a busy guy, but he stays in touch. He was a delight to work with. read more

And now I know why! Kevin showed up on time, prepared, and immediately got to work. Within 4 hours, he painted my son's bedroom with 2 coats of paint (including the ceiling), and replaced and painted our damaged base boards in our kitchen. Kevin is an amazing handyman! We had to wait a while to schedule him as he is in big demand, but the wait was worth it! In addition to fixing the things that we had agreed upon, which he did incredibly well, he helped up-front before he even arrived. Kevin provided specific recommendations for the replacement of our florescent lighting in our garage with LED, a much brighter and more energy efficient solution. He helped us repair two doors, installed a new fan/heat lamp for our bathroom, replaced a GFIC circuit and replaced our garage lighting in four hours. Kevin was great and I highly recommend him! I had a couple of smaller projects (weather stripping for my garage and side doors), plus a couple bigger ones (replace kitchen faucet & water valves, re-installed laundry room bi-fold doors with handles added & baseboard cut to fit) and a couple more that required some creativity. The exterior top layer of my solid core side garage door was badly warped and peeling along the bottom and up the door. Kevin cut and chiseled the damaged section off the door, then replaced it with 1/8" hardboard. With it sealed and painted, my 30-year old door should now hopefully last a few more years. The last item that turned out so great, was Kevin, using the rest of the hardboard, helped plan a wrap for the bottom stair wall that added design and dimension. Not only did Kevin do a great job on all my projects, he shared his knowledge and tips as he worked on the projects. Kevin's rates are very reasonable and the work first rate. He arrived on schedule, was professional, friendly and very easy to work with.
