BTW, they also did a great job on our house inspection ~5 years ago! Edit note: Not sure why Yelp is stating I'm from San Francsico. The work was done in Round Rock, Texas.

The screw ups where to many to mention here but the highlights are: Misaligned and crooked grout lines, Tiles not flush, exhaust fan not vented thru roof. And to top it off they did not pull a permit for the electrical or plumbing. They even hid a junction box behind the sheetrock in a wall ( this is a major NEC violation). I had to hire a master electrician to come in and fix the wiring. i did get compensation back from lowes after the store manager finally came out to look at the horrible install. This is not a good company to do business with!

After more than two years of dealing with unexplained sickness in our household, we finally…read morediscovered the horrifying reason--Alan's incompetence. We hired an another plumber and found out that when Alan built our restroom, he made the most basic, unforgivable plumbing mistakes that no professional should ever make. * Toilet Disaster: Alan jammed a 3-inch flange onto a 4-inch drain without securing it properly. This meant toilet water leaked underneath for years, creating a breeding ground for mold. * Shower Leak: He didn't even bother to use Teflon tape to seal the shower pipes, causing water to drip inside the walls, fueling even more mold growth. Because of Alan's shoddy work, our entire restroom was infested with mold, which then spread to our garage and living room. Worst of all, my son, who has been using that restroom daily, has been sick for over two years--all because of Alan's negligence. Now, we are paying the price--$30,000 in repairs, a full-scale mold remediation team, and the health of our entire family at risk. DO NOT HIRE ALAN FOR ANYTHING. He is a complete fraud who doesn't care about quality, safety, or your family's well-being. Save yourself the money, stress, and health risks--stay far away from him!

We love our Half Bath to Full Bath complete remodel done by IV Remodeling!…read more Our project was a bit complicated due to a COMPLETE Bathroom Transformation, which entailed relocation of Laundry Room to Garage to enlarge bathroom space, removal of wall and door to extend Half Bath to Full Bath, relocation of vanity & toilet for a rain shower install, raised ceiling, and a complete install of floor & wall tile. IV Remodeling was the only company out of 10 companies contacted that gave us a very detailed point by point estimate. The owner, project manager, and the crew was very friendly, helpful and experienced with all aspects of the install. The entire team was always there for any questions we had during the entire remodeling process. The project came out exactly how we wanted it and we love it Very Much! We really appreciate everything the team done for us and of course we highly recommend IV Remodeling and will use them for future projects! Thank You IV Remodeling! 5 Star Service we are very happy with. Theron & Noah Jenkins

Few days later sent me an email advising they "recommend" having their design consultant, come out and do her design thing. It would cost $100 and if we liked the estimate it would go towards the cost. I don't need it and didn't ask for it. I guess that's there way of charging for an "estimate" Melissa also said the owner is a designer. If that's so, his expertise should be part of the process automatically. You know, the cost of doing business. I read in a previous review that their estimate was done contactless with photos sent by the customer. Looks like that's NOT their process any longer. I'm guessing they have enough work and don't need any new stuff??

We couldn't be more impressed by this company's expertise, quality of work, and transparency. Would highly recommend them for any and all plumbing projects!

A friend of ours was having her home remodeled and recommended Dietrich Quality Design. We called, they came out quickly, talked to us about our needs, and gave us an estimate. We stared work on the fireplace the following week. Elsie helped guide us through tile and stone suppliers while Gene managed the construction. We had all the electrical hidden, resurfaced a boring brick fireplace into a beautiful modern stone centerpiece, and also upgraded the built in cabinets to match existing cabinetry. They did the work efficiently, left the worksite clean at the end of each day, and were skilled professionals. The employees had a good relationship with management and it showed in the resulting success of the job. We love our remodel and thank Dietrich Quality Design for making it happen!

We hired Joy and her crew at Reflections Remodeling to completely gut and remodel two bathrooms. We…read morereceived several quotes but went with Joy because I felt very comfortable with her and she was easy to work with. She has lived in or around my neighborhood for decades and I liked that her shop was just up the street. Her crew was very respectful, professional, always on time and willing to answer any (and all!) questions. It was a long project and there were usually two people in our house for 6 weeks. Like I said - it was a full gut to the studs and then built back out. The project was completed on time and the changes to quote/contract were only due to requests and changes we made. There were never any surprises. They laid down floor coverings every morning to protect the hallway, front entry and bedroom and then cleaned up every day when they left. They did our master bathroom first. They ripped out a 40+year old tub/shower combo insert, toilet, vanity, mirror, popcorn ceiling, etc. They built a custom shower floor, moved the drain and installed new plumbing. They tiled the floor, the walk-in shower and a full wall of tile behind the toilet and vanity. The end result was beautiful and the work was fantastic. There will always be questions and some touch up on a project this size but they were always quick to fix anything that I noticed seemed "off" to me and even came back on a Saturday to check on a non-emergency item that they knew we were anxious to have completed. They did the guest bathroom after the master was complete. Same thing - ripped out an old tub/shower insert, removed everything down to the studs, removed popcorn, etc. They then installed a brand new tub, toilet, plumbing, vanity, mirror, and added some electrical. They tiled the floor and around the shower, build a custom shelf at one end of the tub, installed a light tube (a great way to bring natural light into a dark bathroom/hallway!) and installed the vanity, mirror and lights. Joy and her team were a pleasure to work with and very helpful when I had questions about some final decisions I had to make. They offered suggestions when I asked. Thanks Zach, Donna, Felix, Stephen and Eduardo!

We purchased our kitchen during IKEA kitchen sales - and realized later it is a pain to find the right crew to do it, as a lot of general contractors out there are either not willing to touch IKEA products or to charge ridiculous amount to read through the manuals. Of course we can go with IKEA partner - but they are kinda on the expensive side and so swapped due to the sales event. I met with Joy and Donna - both are very knowledgeable and decided to work with them. Joy's crew worked hard to stick with the agreed timeline and the quality is beyond expectation. From the very beginning the quote Joy sent over was itemized, clear and precise. They also have a very comprehensive contract to sign with you (I was surprised to see some of the companies dont do that!). Before signing - all the terms and clauses are carefully explained. During the process - her crew is NEVER LATE. Actually they are often early! Martinez led the project and he is very dedicated, detail oriented and patient. He helped answer all my questions (yes it is very important for a remodeling new-bee). Whenever there is a problem he would always make sure to walk me through the options and offer his professional opinion. The office crew is amazing to work with as well - they are very responsive, willing to listen and accommodate. We had one minor fix after the remodeling and when I raised the question, the office sent their guy over right away. Overall I will definitely recommend them!

Greg lives by the principle of overpromise and underdeliver, which is the opposite of the customer…read moreservice provided by most businesses. When we first met him he promised his main guy (Carlos) would be the one doing the project but in actuality he has Carlos's son and daughter (both untrained, don't speak English and clearly still learning how to do basic contracting work such as tile work and painting) do 90-95% of the work in an unsupervised fashion. Greg or Carlos did not oversee or check the work each day thus we were left with a poor paint job (no tape was placed on baseboards or crown molding around doors such that there are splotches of gray paint on our white crown molding), uneven laying of tile (you can clearly see that in the pics posted), a trim that Greg chose on his own without asking what we wanted because he was too impatient, holes in our bedroom and bathroom walls that were not repaired, huge gaps behind the trim around the shower and areas that weren't retextured, a lack of waterproofing of the shower which many well respected contractors consider industry standard to prevent water leaking into walls and foundation, and just a poor job aesthetically overall. Greg had the audacity to charge me over $10,000 for work that will need to be redone including $3500 which I paid for custom cabinets that he cancelled and is now keeping the money for himself. If you read his other Yelp reviews you can clearly see that Greg has a pattern of losing his temper, not having good communication and of overcharging for shoddy work that is unsupervised and performed by low cost laborers who are not well trained and only speak Spanish. You will find that the issues in many of his reviews are the same. Greg's mood would vacillate from day to day and from hour to hour. He chewed out the gentleman helping us out at the tile shop on several occasions. My fiancé also observed him yelling at his own workers at the top of his lungs when they mistakenly tried to get something out of his truck meant for another job. He also did not confirm our tile order as he promised he would do thus leaving us without grout and trim which he then purchased himself without consulting us thus choosing trim which did not match anything in our bathroom. He actually charged us a $550 design fee though we did all the design ourselves. He did not offer any advice or expertise in the area of design whatsoever. Because Greg himself doesn't speak Spanish (but his laborers only speak Spanish) many things had to be redone though we had clearly told him what we wanted. He then charged us for these "redos" because of his own inability to communicate with his workers. His workers had to re-paint and re-patch several times even though things were clearly communicated to Greg initially by my fiancé. His predictable response whenever he forgets things is to blame the customer and say that he was never told. We detailed the issues we had with the work performed and even had Greg sign a sheet but Greg did not choose to rectify them and instead chose to abandon the job. He later told me he signed the sheet with a fake signature so that he could plausibly deny having promised anything. Greg only cares about getting paid on the back of labor performed by others while doing a sub par job. His lack of integrity is apparent the longer you work with him because you will catch him in lies and inconsistencies and the version of Greg that you will get once he has money in his hands is very different than the version you get in the beginning. Greg is a con artist. He does not have any expertise in the work he has others perform. He also does not like to admit when he's made a mistake and gets defensive and blames others (the customer, his workers etc). Where there is so much smoke, there has to be fire. Greg is so predictable that he will invariably have a defensive response to this review as he did to all of his other poor reviews. Many of the attached pics speak for themselves.
