Ambiance: This is a beautiful place. We have been going to the one on Weslayan st, which was small with a little bit of seating but this location is amazing. It has two floors with good amount of seating. Love the lighting and the see through glass between the floors. Coffee: It is exceptional. Perfect coffee strength of a coffee connoisseur. I'd love to work from here but seems there isn't many tables to sit at. I loved the Creamericano! Just like its name, the drink was creamy and sweet, although it might not be strong enough for a morning coffee run. The Black Cloud looked so pretty but unfortunately did not do as much in terms of flavors for us. There are 5 options for charcoal drinks though, so maybe we'll enjoy another one next time. I love the interior of the store. I've come a few times and always get the white chocolate mocha. The espresso it's self isn't my favorite, it has a slightly fruity taste to me and I prefer mine to be more robust, I'll try adding an extra shot next time and see how that helps. I wish they offered lactose free milk as coconut usually makes my drink too sweet and I can't have almond or soy. My friend who came with me ordered the charcoal latte and while it's very pretty I personally wish the hype for charcoal would die as it isn't as healthy as people think. I've been trying out a few different coffee shops recently, but this is probably my favorite so far! I got recommended this place, and decided to drive 45 minutes just to get here (dedication!). When entering the building, you can see that they make sure to use all the amount of space they have. They provide table desk for the seat lining the walls on the bottom floor and up the stairs you can find tables and other seating arrangements as well. I will say, you should probably get here early to secure a table if you plan on staying here and studying long! But I promise that you won't have to leave here! The customer service was really great! The person attending the register, although wearing a mask, you could tell was giving a smile and was being super nice and friendly! I wanted to go with something lighter today, so I chose the Ice Black Raspberry tea (I believe that's what it was called). Wow. I did not think I would like it that much. I'm not usually a fan of just plan teas, but this? It was perfectly sweet for me and not at all watered down like some other places. You get the really great flavor head on and I think that's great! Yelp recommended this coffee shop to me, so I decided to go check it out. Overall, I think this place has high potential but right now it's not 5 stars in my book. The aesthetics of the shop are beautiful. The shop itself, the bags of coffee beans, and the drinks all look amazing. The staff are very friendly as well. One of the baristas saw me looking at the bags of beans and asked if I had any questions. I appreciated how attentive he was! I recommend writing the roast date in a metallic marker if possible - it's hard to see black marker over a black box! It was only when I laid the bag down to take a photo for my future reference that I was able to see that the beans were roasted the same day. I got the Black Forest drink, which is a matcha and charcoal drink. The drink was very pretty, but it was way too sweet for my personal liking. I'm not sure it was worth the money. I got a drip, which was a Guatemalan and Brazilian mix, I think it might've been sitting for a while since it didn't taste too fresh. The cashier, who was super friendly and helpful did mention that they might be out of it (this was around 11AM). I finally got upstair to take a seat, I didn't notice any employees up there while I was there, needless to say, my table was dirty. I cleaned it myself and hung out for a while before leaving. Also had wifi issues, there was another patron there with similar issues. We went down to let the staff know, knowing that there might not be much they could do besides restarting the router, they said they'd look into it but that's it.
