Awesome boots BUT horrible customer service. 4 people working on a Wednesday afternoon. My mom and I walk in. No on greets us except for one employee. I guess because they "work" in the domain they are TOO good to be friendly. I was interested in one pair of boots. I asked the sales rep for the size he said "we don't have that size sorry". I asked for a half size up AND a half size down he said "sorry we don't have those either ". And that was it. No offers to order them for me or look at another store. this refers more to the online store. On January 1, I ordered and paid for a pair of rather expensive boots. I kept getting notices after a week that they were ready to ship. In calling I find out that it was back ordered and no notice was given to me. They had no idea when the boots would come in and offer a couple of other alternative switch for nowhere near is a style or cost of the boots. For a premium boot company you can't decide whether it's a direct consumer by Central warehouse or retail stores. The contact phone number doesn't even identify it as being Lucchese. I have no idea how long I would be sitting waiting for a shipment before I was told it was backordered if I was told at all, I have four pair of their boots and I won't be a fifth. read more

God. This is my favorite shoe store in the entire world. Lucchese is the absolute best. So good that I feel like I'm blessed by the lord when I wear my boots from here. There's something special about these boots that I can't even explain... there's a reason the name is kept on the down low and not said in the popular rap songs. This is a shoe made of pure class. First, this review is for the customer service at the Domain. I just checked my closet and I have a pair of Lucchesse Caimans, a Lucchesse alligator, a Lucchesse giant alligator, a Lucchesse hippo, two Lucchesse elephant, one Lucchesse full quill ostrich and a pair of Lucchesse goat ropers. Obviously, I like the boots. They are well made and comfortable. So I got a pair of the new rubber sole work boots from my mother for Christmas. It's January 21st and I haven't worn them yet. With WFH I wear mostly tennis shoes. I'm not going to put a pair of boots on to work at home. I decided that I would like to try to return them for store credit or cash, if they wanted. I called ahead to make sure I wasn't wasting my time. (Btw it took me 30 minutes to find a parking spot and walk to the store) The person who answered the phone told me if I had the name of the person who bought them I could return. I called my 80 year old mother to let her know that I was taking her present back and to see what name she left (mine or hers) and to see if she had the receipt. She bought them months ago and didn't have the receipt. The boots are still new in the box still with the tissue paper. The box has a Lucchesse printed price tag on it. Well, they didn't have either name in the system and refused any store credit or refund. I'm a life long customer that probably won't buy another pair. I won't buy anything from the Domain store for sure. I'll go to Cavendar's where they're friendlier or Austin-based Tecovas where the boots are MUCH cheaper or Dan Post or Tony Llama or Justin or since we're talking rubber soles maybe even Ariat. Sometimes you only have one chance to impress a customer. This one time you blew it Lucchesse. :( read more

We had an excellent experience here, as apposed to Tacova's. Very attentive customer service. We walked out with an amazing pair of boots that my wife LOVES. Yes more expensive than the cheap boots at Tacova's, however well worth the money because the quality shows. Sales staff was very attentive (even at the Domain), and we were very welcomed. I highly recommend this place for excellent quality boots and top notch service. However, at the Domain, you never know the service since most of the people there are typical 20-somethings that are not concerned about you, and more concerned about their phones/friends and global warming. It's a crap shoot at the Domain as to customer service. However i can say that Lucchese's staff was not the norm you'd expect at the Domain. Very good in fact. Will be back!! read more

Just got a pair of boots here, the sales people were more than welcoming, I felt so bad the number of boots both my fiancé and I had them pull out, in the end I was overly satisfied with both my experience and purchase. The salesman, Logan, made sure the boot fit me perfectly. If I lived in Texas I would definitely make this my boot destination, but will definitely order more online from this store due to their quality and fit. read more

Wasn't expecting much based on the other user's review, but they were super helpful twice (had to return the first pair as my husband bought them without me and they didn't fit).
