Arancini. Not bad. A little bland but we enjoyed them.

Fun little taverna. Our server was delightful. The menu is simple. The atmosphere is noisy but not annoying. I had a couple drinks, a focaccia, and a few other dishes. We left satisfied but not stuffed (that is a compliment) and everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Lucca Taverna came recommend by several locals while I was in Corvallis for work. I did make a reservation because I was told it is sometimes hard to get into. Groovy vibe inside. Had the lamb scewer, chicken scewer, burrata and tomato appetizer and an aperol spritz. All very tasty!

A welcoming and warm environment. My friend and I did not make a reservation and walked in on a Saturday night. The staff attempted to sit us given their full capacity, we opted for bar seating and still received exceptional, personable service. The burrata was delicious, chicken a little dry for my personal liking ( but it was only $14 generous portion, I would definitely order again). My friend got a squash pasta dish, and tbh I thought the pasta was forgotten. Kinda small. With that being said, still great restaurant! Can't wait to go back!

Great food. Really great service. Will definitely come back when we're visiting our daughter at Oregon State.

Lucca Taverna provides an energetic ambiance with muted decor tones to balance. Enjoyed house wine with mozzarella balls for appetizer. The menu offers family style options onshore so enjoyed the grilled carrots that had a bit of spice, Caesar salad cabbage version and Lamb Kabab. Dersert drink Limoncello with a custard style brule. Make sure you make reservations as they fill up even on a Wednesday nite! Also if your seated by 530pm you will be kicked out nicely at 7pm. Staff was pleasant and food came out within minutes. Really enjoyed the experience.

Food was good. We got the octopus which was excellent. Highly recommend. Also got the pappardelle pasta and lamb kabob. Lamb was just okay, very tough. The pasta and meatballs were really good. The lemon drop was excellent with lavender, then I got the hot and heavy which was super gross. They should probably take that off the menu. Otherwise highly recommend and good service.

Charred broccoli ready to make you happy

What a beautiful restaurant snuggled into downtown Corvallis. Perfect for date night or treat yourself at the bar. The aesthetic is inviting and pleasing to all the senses, especially my tastebuds. It was filled with clean lines and comfort. Staff was attentive and friendly. Fresh pasta here is no joke. I had the pesto spaghetti. The pesto was so rich and creamy and not heavy at all. You can taste the difference when pasta is made daily with so much care. I couldn't resist eating every last drop. The broccoli was charred to perfection and dusted with flavor that popped with every crunch. The yogurt sauce was a fun addition for dipping. The foccacia was freshy fresh with a scrumptious basil tomato jam that tasted fresh from the garden. I also dipped my bread into the creamy pesto dish. That was dynamite. I now can't wait to try more fresh pasta here. The barkeep was also on point with my gin cocktail tonight. What a spectacular meal. Come join me in singing their praises and get in here.

Dining out in Lucca in Corvallis

Atmospheric Lucca Taverna restaurant is an excellent new entry in the local restaurant scene in Corvallis. We made the mistake of coming here right before a game, and while we were in a hurry, we were accommodated without a reservation and treated well, but Lucca is a place you should definitely stay and linger with friends. Dishes are generous and best enjoyed shared and family style. We started with their aranchini, delicious Italian fried rice balls served with fresh, bright tomato sauce. We selected their family style lamb kabob, with roasted peppers and onion, and their lush mushroom risotto. The risotto was toothsome and creamy, a perfect rendition. We were surprised that while many European wines by the glass were on offer here, even a vino verde, there weren't many local producers from nearby Dundee and Willamette. To us this seemed like a missed opportunity: we would have appreciated more local wine by the glass. An excellent cocktail menu, a solid wine list (please add more local varieties) Lucca Taverna offers up professional service, a sophisticated atmosphere, beautiful cocktails, and excellent food.

This place is very cozy and cute. To start, we got eggplant croquettes, burrata and crispy potatoes. Eggplant croquettes: 10/10 I really enjoyed them and the overall flavor, cooked nicely. Potatoes: 7/10. They were not crispy, just kind of boiled. I would've appreciated a stronger herb taste. They were okay. Burrata: really good! I wish it came with more bread + glaze The fettuccine Alfredo was the best Alfredo I've ever had. Good service- helpful and nice.

Definitely a must-visit restaurant in Corvallis. My family and I have been eating here since it…read moreopened, and they consistently have outstanding food and quick, friendly service. I have never once been disappointed. The skirt steak taco and Korean BBQ taco are my favorites, but there's seriously not a bad item on the menu. The one downside is that it gets LOUD during peak hours.

Getting into town my wife and I were in search of a certain Mexican restaurant that we had been to…read morewith a group of people that we thoroughly enjoyed years earlier. This was it. A short walk from our hotel we were both excited as we remember we loved this place. She dreamed about the DIY guacamole. Which we did order. The menu had a wide variety of options both food and drink. Though when I see the word taco on an establishments name I would expect jalapeños to be available. I am a sucker for a jalapeño margarita and this was unavailable. I was 100% disappointed and settled for a 5 pepper margarita. It was ok. I get that this is a Mexican fusion establishment, but sometimes it's not necessary to try so hard. Our server was meh, did not have much information on anything(if you work at a place that has a different concept I would hope there would be a little insight). We did remember getting the diy guac as well as the flaming queso which were by far the highlight. We probably could have stopped there, but did not. I ordered the Thai chicken curry, the Peking duck and fish taco. All of them combined together qualified as ok. The Peking was the best out of all of them, but had a bit of grissel to it. The fish taco was pretty one dimensional and the Thai chicken. Well I tried to eat it but the flavor not my jam. All in all I ate the meat out of the fish and duck. Needless to say it was not a happy homecoming to TacoVino. It might be other people's jam, just not ours.
