If you want an exciting and delicious dining option, I highly recommend Grazing Oregon. My wife and I arrived at 5:00 with a reservation, and the place was empty. By 5:20, that place was full so we were glad we called and got a reservation. I ordered A Ghost of the Forest old-fashioned cocktail and it was quite delicious. I am a fan of the old-fashioned style of cocktail and this is a nice interpretation of the genre. The subtle pine notes made for a tasty and surprising experience. We ordered a Sharing is Caring board and a Blazin' Burrata plate. Both were fresh, interesting, and tasty. I know that the joke going around is that Charcuterie is really adult Lunchables, but this exceeds "lunchable" status. The board included Swiss cheese, a figgy boursin, and a multi-pepper hard cheese that was wonderful. There were two salamis and a load of nuts, dried fruits, and olives. I am a picky eater and there was nothing on the board that I didn't like. The restaurant itself is small but comfy and pleasant. Rachael our hostess and Angel our server were fabulous. They were both friendly and knowledgeable. This isn't the cheapest meal you will have, but it will be enjoyable, fresh, interesting and worthy of return visits.

We did an adventure road trip from Portland to Grazing Oregon in Albany. Janicé is the creator of this intimate yummy restaurant, and obviously loves her profession. Fresh local foods with a few international influences on the menu. A full bar, including a wide variety of mocktail options. Attentive staff, great location. Make reservations if you plan on going Friday or Saturday. Try the mead...yummy. We ordered two entries for three of us so we would have room for dessert.

Really wonderful visit. We came on the celebration of their new 2 yr anniversary in their new location on Ellsworth Street downtown. The location is wrong on yelp. We had a wonderful board, as well as cocktails. Finished with bananas foster. Really a beautiful experience and would highly recommend.

So impressive. This was the mini vegetarian board. I've never had cheese like this! We missed happy hour, but I guess they're expanding their menu. The cocktails were a hit too.

    Smoking the cheese and meat.

This is the best spot for an intimate dinner or a hang out with friends over charcuterie and everything in between.

Anyways, we had called a few restaurants in the area hoping to get some dinner. This was the only place that said,"Yeah, we can seat you!" So, hubs and I make our way from our roadside motel (Studio 6, review will be posted) to downtown Albany. The parking situation was a little confusing, but we found parking a few blocks from the restaurant. We got a table, yay! The place is pretty cool, it was a bank back in the day. They have a nice limited menu which offers options for all sorts of food preferences. So, our table was full of carnivores, lol. Hubs had the special which was a smoked prime rib, daughter's boyfriend had the Wagyu Brisket burger and my college grad had the filet. I also had the filet. Everything was super tasty! I would totally recommend if you aren't in a hurry. The servers were great.

It's just non flavored cream with fizz water Truffle fries: some of the best textured fries I've had. Really crispy on the outside. Could be perfect if the truffle flavor is a bit stronger Creole Prawn: the bread is really crispy. The shrimp and sauce isn't very Cajun for my taste. More of a northwest interpretation. Pretty mild Pork porterhouse: huge chunk of pork. The outside is a bit dry. Inside is pretty tender. However, it's lacking flavor. The tomato sauce isn't adding much flavor either. Top sirloin: it's ok. Wanted to order the burger but it's sold out. Just a normal steak. Nothing special Cream brûlée: love this one. Huge size for just 7$. Silky smooth custard with fresh fruit. The only downside is the sugar on top is a bit burned Service is good. Waitress is very nice.

I asked if they needed my name and was told by the hostess "no." I thought it was a little weird, but went with it. My coworker arrived first and he said reservations for 5. They asked him for a name! Haha, he said they looked at him like he was crazy. So that was weird. Otherwise, once we all arrived, the service was very friendly and attentive. Ambiance - it was open and had a mix of high top tables, low top, and bar seating. When it's busy, it's quite noisy. Not a place you can really carry a long conversation. I did notice there was a loft area that looks like a private party/gathering could be held. Once everyone left after the lunch rush, it was much quieter. Food - Yum! We started with the lemon pepper wings, which were recommended by our wait staff. The worst thing with wings are when they are dry and jerky like. This was not the case at Loafers. The wings were piping hot when they came out. Too hot to eat immediately. Once you got into the meat of the wings, it was moist. The lemon pepper flavor was great. Citrusy and peppery, not too salty. The wings came with baby carrots and celery sticks. I got the Buddha bowl which includes Rice, carrots, purple cabbage, avocado, sesame seeds, micro cilantro, mung bean sprouts, watermelon radish & peanut sauce and added seared ahi. I requested no rice and the waitress said it would be nothing if I don't get the rice, so she suggested getting salad. The bowl was massive. I'm not sure I needed the salad. It was really filling and the tuna was delicious. I felt the peanut sauce was a bit salty so I barely used it. Tuna has a pepper crust, so it was also flavorful. Overall, happy with our experience there for our team lunch.

Service was quick despite the full dining room, and the menu selection was expansive. Lots too choose from, although a bit on the pricier side. Portion sizes decent, but appearance and taste were absolutely fantastic! Would come again if friends/family visited, but not an every week type of place. Changing table available in one of the restrooms, high chairs available, although loud environment can be distracting for some babies. Overall good experience!

We showed up in stages but the bartender must have been having a bad day he would get one drink order at a time is what my peeps told me, I thought they were joking. We ordered 2 Bloody Marys and one didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it so we mixed the 2 together. The food came out real slow and kind of haphazardly. I will say the hummus was good. The menu is American and Indian so I was excited. Some people's burgers were way over done and after the food all came out, I was informed they were all out of Dahl Makhani Which was disappointing. So I asked for Chana masala and after a while they came and told me that they were out of that too, so I settled for a black and blue burger with tots. My burger came and thankfully it wasn't overdone and it came with fries. Now the last 2 at the table are still waiting for their burgers none too happy. As I finish my Bloody Mary I notice a 1 1/2 inch crack in my glass which I take up to the bartender and let him know, he didn't say anything. Now in the meantime 2 people at the table are saying the chicken Caesar wrap they ordered didn't taste right and opened it up to find what looked like curried chicken chunks that were rinsed off inside the wrap. A while later I order to Kona's for my friend and I, a while later he comes over to tell me they are out of Kona, so I order 2 different beers, and as I am getting down to the end of my beer there's a shard of glass. I take this up to the bars and tell the guy and show him letting him know I think I swallowed a piece and they better check the dishwasher or something. He throws the shard of glass in the garbage and walks away. The kicker 3 of us had bad stomach aches the next day. I don't know what's going on but I would avoid this place
