The food is always good for really large portioned bar food. The service is decent at best. The place is loud and kinda small but not overly small where you feel crowded. read more

Wilhelm's Spirits & Eatery - Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes- they forgot the salad with it. Cali wrap with fries. - Sports Bars Near Me - Albany, Oregon

This place has a casual friendly bar atmosphere vibe & you are greeted by the bartender before you even pick a place to sit. I really like the simple menu and I've tried several items, all of which were pretty good. Their clam chowder never disappoints & the portions are generous enough to fill you up but not so much you need a togo box. I recommend this place as a casual stop in when you don't feel like fast food & don't feel like getting dressed up just to go have a quick lunch. read more

Best bartenders in town friendly fast and nicely paired with good clean cooks the food is never disappointing and the portions are really good thanks for being a good date night spot for me and my husband with food that never disappoints read more

On the outside, this place looks a bit dead and possibly not open. Inside however, is excellent service and tasty food. They are pretty fast too. Clam chowder was fantastic. Lots of content to dig into and not just liquid soup. Potatoes and clams are literally overflowing in the bowl. Chicken Fried Steak - huge chicken fried steak paired with a large side of mashed potatoes, both piled with their country gravy. Wow. This is a hefty entree for anyone. Gravy has bacon bits, is creamy, and tastes fantastic. Chicken fried steak was as solid as any other and the mashed potatoes had a great garlic flavor. Bacon Cheddar Burger - I like that burgers are half deconstructed so you can pick and choose what extras you want like pickles, onions, or tomatoes. Very nice for the average picky eater. It's a solid burger. Lock Jaw - lock jaw or heart attack, both are pretty solid names for this. It's three patties and these patties are 1/2 pound by the way. Like what, that's crazy. Anyways this is a meat lover's heaven in the form of a burger. Starving? Just get this. read more

Wilhelm's Spirits & Eatery - Everything was delicious! - Sports Bars Near Me - Albany, Oregon

The staff was slammed. It took a long time to get our food but it was understandable. The hamburgers were delicious. Our server Haley was great and was working her butt off. We will be back at a slower time of day. read more

If you are expecting a nice, clean, modern, stylish, well-staffed bar... Then you'll give this place a 1-star review. If you came here to bump elbows with locals (who haven't shaved for 3 weeks) at the lotto machines, enjoy getting hepatitis from touching bathroom fixtures, and watching both staff and patrons making fools of themselves... Then click that 5-star! Additional parking is in the rear. read more

Had lunch today for the first time. It was amazing. Tried several things and all were great. Friendly waitress. Highly recommend this place.

This has become my go to for a quick dinner and a drink! The mules are fantastic, salads are fresh, and you cant beat their club sandwich!

I love talking people that have never been, and meeting my friends that are regulars here!! Food is amazing and portions and pours are generous! Wait staff is always friendly and smiling!! read more

Small bar and grill in Albany. Lots of menu choices and good sized portions. Never had anything here I didn't like, although the chicken caesar wrap is my favorite (two meals in one!). Great service and good drink prices. Loss of star for how loud it can get here - small building so I'm not sure what can be done, but hard to hear someone sitting right across from you. read more

Great service, adorable very tasty food with large portions, nice atmosphere, clean, drinks made perfectly without to much alcohol or to little of.. Love this for going out to dinner with friends read more

Sara is the greatest. Great service with a smile. Food is huge and delicious. Would recommend to friends

I give my meal (BLTA, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado) a 3.5 and my husband would probably give his (Shrimp Louie) about a four--maybe slightly less today because the shrimp seemed a little salty (compared to other visits here.) I asked for my bacon to be extra crispy and it was not. And I don't think it was the server's fault because she made a note of it. Sometimes, I think the cooks just don't get what crispy or well-done means. If a patron asks for that, they really do mean it. Today it was under done. As it is in most restaurants even when I say both well done/crispy. We've eaten here 3-4 times now and I'd be hesitant to go back, but my hubby does love the shrimp louies and the service has always been stellar. Especially today. Another note: the seasoning on the tots is too much/too salty. In the future, I'll ask to have it without. read more

So, based on the reviews and photos I wasn't really expecting much from this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. Starting with the service, only one waitress in a jamb packed place, but she still managed to be timely and efficient. The food was really good! I ordered the Cajun tri-tip wrap, and didn't think I'd eat much, but it was too good to put down. My companion ordered the fish and chips and they weren't super greasy or bland. The bar is pretty big, and there's a wall a video lottery games. I would recommend and go back. read more

Great burgers, place is small so it can get pretty loud, the service can be real hit and miss though some day's you great a really good server/bartender and other days not so much. The main reason I wanted to post this was to get the menu up on yelp since it's not here. read more

Simply the best. We've flown to Buenos Aires for a steak dinner, Portland (Maine) for lobster, and Edinburgh for haggis. We'll add Wilhelm's to our "go to" list. His burger is moist, complete with three laminated layers of bacon, and the meat was grilled to perfection. The bun wasn't intrusive, complementing the rest of the flavors. My Alfredo is excellent, full of shrimp. The garlic bread is the best I've tasted. In all, perfection. We would recommend Wilhelm's to anyone, anytime. read more

2 for a $1.00 Taco Sunday has a dark secret. Each taco comes with a side of guacamole, salsa, or sour cream. However they don't tell you they charge you $.50 each. So that two for $1taco turns into two for two taco. read more

This is our favorite food joint in Albany. No matter what we order, it is always good! We have had the club (my fav), the cali wrap (his fav), the wahoo, the bbq burger, & we always get the tots because they are the best & so addictive. Some restraunt foods are "hit & miss" but so far we have not had one bad meal here. We don't come if the parking lot is full though, cuz there is only 1 cook. ;) read more

Wait staff seems pretty rude. They pretty much get in, get orders, leave, and then walk back 20 minutes later to drop off plates without a word. Beer selection is fine, nothing special but there's enough variety for anyone but the greatest snobs. Prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get. Quality of the food is extremely hit and miss. I ordered a bacon burger with bleu cheese and it was quite good, but my girlfriend ordered the open face chili burger and it was an utter disappointment. The patty was bland and unseasoned, the buns weren't toasted so the chili just turned them into a soggy mess, and the chili was most definitely from a can. If you want a decent sports bar experience then this place is as good as any other, but the food and service is far behind the curve. read more

Walked right in parking was fine. Upon entry can tell its a local place for locals to go and hang out. I decided to sit at the bar. Was greeted by the bar tender, ordered a beer and then received the food menu. I had read on Google that this was the place to get a blue cheese burger and I was not disappointed. Loaded up with blue cheese, 3-4 nice strips of smoked bacon, pickles, let, onion, tomato on the side. The burger was huge, cooked to perfection and the taste was to die for. Beer & burger under $14.00 it was a great place for good food at a reasonable price. read more

We've been out of the area for over a year and this place is Awesome for it's Clam Chowder. Retuned today and the Chowder is stll the Best. They serve it only on Friday's. But its well worth the stop. We had the garlic bread with it. OMG. Delish ! read more

Love wilhelms but they were stingy with tots when I ordered a wrap to go and that's my favorite part lol

By far the best Potato Skins ANYWHERE!!(you will be disappointed the next time you eat skins somewhere else) The food is served in HUGE portions and the drinks are always GREAT.:) Everyone on the staff is friendly and my Girlfriends car drives her automatically from work Tuesday thru Friday to visit with Sarah. The only problem with Welhelms is we spend to much time there read more

The service here was friendly and bubbly, just what one would want after a hard day! Food was absolutely sublime, and that's what really stands out I think. The round were tender and the sauce was perfect and plentiful. The cocktails were made correctly and were quite tasty, well done indeed. The only real complaint I would have is it is rather loud, as the acoustics there just seem to bolt everything up a little. But overall, that's a very minor thing in what was an otherwise superb experience! We will most definitely be back, and look forward to sampling more of the menu and cocktail offerings! read more

I like this place. The service is good and food is good, way to big of meals. My complaint is that we have been going there for yrs and the girls bathroom is disgusting. Awesome food, Service sucks. Our office goes there on a regular basis. Love the food. Call in orders (if someone answers) sounds like a good idea, but you are met with a bad attitude when you pick it up. Charged extra for take out if you have 4 or more orders. Some boxes are left open. Used to tape shut if too full. Now they don't care at all. If you dine in and are a regular you get special treatment. If you are not, good luck. Waitresses don't care about tips. Sometimes great or rude and don't have time for you. Our office is done. We will no longer order take out or go in to eat lunch. I will miss the food. read more

I have been a regular customer for years now and thought Ken (Bartender) was as a friend. Tonight was the second time I was treated with disrespect. This happens again, and I will ask to speak with the owner. I've spent alot of money on drinks and gambling, and always tipped large or small, but always tipped damn it! Nobody deserves to be disrespected! read more

Never made it to the food because a super obnoxious bartender/waiter guy was yelling and being sarcastic with the customers as soon as I walked in the door. Hey dufus, is that supposed to be charming or something?? Not!! Don't need that kind of crap when I'm there to unwind after a long day of dealing with that at work read more

This place is great. The owner and all servers are very friendly and they make a mean drink. The food coming out of the kitchen all looked amazing, and I can personally vouch for the burgers, wraps, and the pasta. My burger patty was slightly over for my taste, however I never told him how I wanted it cooked so that was my bad. The thing was huge and had great fresh toppings. The fries are amazing and the soups are ever changing and homemade. If you want a good burger, I put this up there with Game Time, and if you want a decent drink, these are some of the best in Albany. Give this place a shot. I have driven by a million times, and glad I finally came in. read more

I ordered the bleu cheese bacon burger and fries@ $8.50 and an overpriced beer. Food was good but service and atmosphere were an abomination. Waitress was inattentive and crude. Almost an hour to get our food, which is inexuseable when the place was near empty. We did get a side show- two morons commenting on eachother's tattoos. Nothing says "Look at me I'm a moron" than a body full of tats. I will never go back. Should have gone to Pho King instead. read more
