I ended up choosing Lifetime because A) Project Manager Yonas is a dang superstar B) they quoted the best price for the job C) they had the best warranty BY FAR and D) they handled the permitting process entirely. Their crews always showed up when they were supposed to and were so friendly and pleasant. Not to mention amazingly efficient. They pulled off our old roof in a matter of a few hours and put plywood over the entire roof on just the first day. When they left, they cleaned up the yard including using a blower on the driveway, front path, and lawns. Each day of work was the same. The crew arrived early, did a fantastic job, and left the site as clean as when they arrived. In total, the job took a week. What was even more impressive is I knew there was some wood rot that needed repair so had budgeted more than quoted just in case the price went over. Nope. The final price was the exact price quoted.
