Been using them for a number of years. I have found that their prices are fair and reasonable. Easy to deal with and pleasant.

5-28-2025 Update on this Case. After the trial the Judge Issued Ruling on EF007473-2022.... The Bill from, Loyal Tire for +/- $70,000 for towing and storage is invalid. The Lien is canceled and Loyal Tire must return the vehicle. This is a win for our community against these people. We went there to pick up the truck and Mr. Hagopian first said to give him the truck then said no. The police were called. And now there is a contempt motion Against Him, to charge him with Criminal Contempt. We hope the truth will continue to come out. Search for the ruling from the Judge and what he found about Loyal Tire and Anthony and Michael Hagopian. Dont take my word for it.. Listen to Judge Williams. We now have a case with AAA for what they did to us by sending these people. The good fight continues. read more

Went here on Monday September 16th 2024 to get my car inspected. Called last Tuesday/Wednesday for an appointment at 1:00PM. Guy was pleasant on the phone. Went in at loyal tire, parked in parking lot spot 5. Said i was there for an 1:00PM appointment. Handed over the keys, and went to the lobby and waited. It took about 2 hours, but perhaps they were doing something else, or an appointment ran over, whatever, just read their magazines while i waited. Women's restroom was very clean. Blonde hair girl let me know that i was done. Was handed the keys. Then the next day (today) i realized that i didn't pay $21.00 for the inspection. They still charge a percentage fee for the credit card. Went there today at 3:22, paid with cash, and went on my way. Luckily they were understanding on how it happens! read more

Liars! I had appointment, brought car over. Told by receptionist It would go in in 15 minutes. Called in 2 hours, told it's on the lift. Went back to car in 2 more hours, Car was never moved from where I parked it!!! When I went inside told "it's next!" Are you kidding me? Never go there again! read more

These people are disrespectful and thieves. Under no circumstances would I take a vehicle there for any type of service. Do your homework. Terrible place.....they've had a bad reputation for a long time . I hate labeling anyone with any derogatory accusations but here's my story. Went in for a inspection on my my one year old minivan - they failed it due to a screw in my new tires! Upon inspection of said screw I can tell the screw was brand new and shiny and I can see the hallo the nut driver left behind when it contacted my tire when it was driving in said screw in . They wouldn't pass my inspection unless I buy 4 new tires. I pointed out my observation I also said if I was driving on the screw it wouldn't be new and they screamed at me called me racial slurs and three of the brothers surrounded me and kicked me out. I'm a guy with baby seats and kids in a minivan! I went to the local police and they took a harassment complaint. I didn't see them damage my car I only questioned why the screw was brand new in my tire so i couldn't report that they did it. The police told me they are aware of how rotten they are. I was later contacted by NY DCA and they told me they had many complaints about them doing this very thing to other ppl but they're still in business? Over the years I've come to find out that this is their practice - whether you're a minority or not they are equal opportunity thieves preying on all but will not hold back on using racial slurs curses and derogatory language. Coming home from a long weekend away the sidewall blew out in Harriman State Park and seems as though new cars do not come with a spare. Anthony came and flat bedded car to a tire store we thought was open only to have it be closed early. He then made a phone call to see if the tire size was in stock at Loyal Tire, which was closed for the night. He brought the car to the shop and opened it up for us. Tired was replaced in a short period of time and we were on our way back to Long Island. Without Anthony's great service we would have been stuck in Monroe for the night. Car died in Woodberry. Towed it to their place and relentlessly worked to find the problem. Easily could have replaced my entire fuel injection system but instead resolved a corroded wire issue. I was so impressed with their integrity, service quality and just their overall approach to finding the problem and fixing it. If they were my local garage, I'd use them every time! read more

My car would not start today and they performed analysis, battery was bad, replaced the battery, gave me the balance of the warranty. Everyone was professional and courteous. I use them all a the time for my car repair and am always satisfied. Would recommend them highly. read more

We recently brought in a car for inspection and they performed repairs on the car without asking us! Not only did they perform work without permission, they made repairs that were NOT required to pass a NYS inspection and charged us a ridiculous amount for "labor". When I called to question them about this the young woman at the counter was very nice and helpful, but no manager ever called me back. I had to go in person and the manager still did not even get off his desk and acknowledge me, let alone apologize or explain what happened. Instead they made the young woman middleman the conversation and question ME. I let them win and settled for a joke of a "credit" as they were "not able to refund" me. If they can't even perform an inspection properly, imagine getting any real work done...The management here sucks and we will never bring our vehicles here again. read more

Horrible service. Brought my classic car for a tune up a week ago. They totally botched it. They said they would get all of the parts necessary. Car was running very badly when I brought it in. When I picked it up, the minute I got on the road it was obvious the problem had not been fixed. Not only were no new points installed in the distributor which is part of a tune up on this type, I found that all of the plugs were improperly gapped when I took it to another mechanic who actually fixed the problem. On top of that, they told me they had taken it for a test drive which I cannot believe happened as the problem was instantly obvious when I took the car back. This was my first time at Loyal and it will definitely be my last. read more

My wife had an accident going up RTE 6 just a week ago. Woodbury Police responded and called Loyal for the tow. Fast forward to just yesterday, I find out through my insurance co. that Loyal charged $1900.00 for the tow which my insurer disputed to no avail. They paid $1K and deducted $900.00 out of my settlement. So I'm out that money. Sad part is Loyal seemed corgial and sympathetic to our situation at the time. I am doing what I can to bring this "GOUGING" to light starting with a conversation with the Woodbury Police Dept. and will go up through BBB and NY State Consumer Affairs via the Attoney General's Office if need be. Loyal Tire and Repair Center in Monroe, NY is dishonest, rude and a scam! I've been there several times and it's always the same story. I will just focus on my last visit in June 2017 where I brought my car in for an oil change and NYS Inspection. 90 minutes into it with 1 other customer in the shop, they tell me they are waiting for a power steering part to come in and that one of my tires is bad. The service representative started getting loud with me when I simply asked him shouldn't you let me know how much the part cost and whether I want to perform the repairs before ordering the part? As for my tire, I knew there was nothing wrong with it because I had replaced all 4 tires less than 18 months ago and I drive less than 5000 miles a year on the car so I knew right away he was being dishonest about that. Anyway, he threatened to fail my NYS Inspection if I didn't get these items fixed so I told him to go for it since I knew my power steering was working fine and that there was nothing wrong with my tire. Next day, I went to an honest repair shop in Rockland County called Tallman Auto Center and the owner took my car in right away for the NYS Inspection and noticed it is for a "reinspection". I told him about my ordeal at Loyal and he just shook his head and said there is nothing wrong with your car and it passed! He even said your tires look brand new! What a pleasure it is to deal with someone honest, courteous and full of integrity! read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! They are crooks!!!! I had to go to the state police barracks to make him release my van, ( he wanted to charge my insurance company for storage fees). They called him twice to make him release my van. Anytime I said anything, he made up more charges. After paying more than $3000 to get my van, I went straight to the police barrack to report him. After investigation, they sanctioned him but could not make him refund any of my money. This happened over a year ago and I still get a knot in my stomach when I think about it. Please save yourself the frustration, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. FYI- if the state police calls this company you feel they ripped you off, go to the state police and file a report, so this jerk can be kicked off the tow list. I had them put on winter tires 2 weeks ago. I called about the tires and said I wanted them, but needed to wait until it got colder. They had no problem ordering them and waiting until I was ready. I got a really good deal on the Continental winter tires and got an alignment. Somehow very quickly, something was off with the rear tires. Two weeks after installation, I took the car in and they did a full suspension inspection and readjusted the rear alignment. The car now works perfectly. They did not charge 1 penny for the inspection and re-alignment of the rear tires. They (ask for Pete!!) were very friendly and accommodating. Great experience!!! read more

As a AAA service provider, Loyal provided towing customer service above and beyond after Harriman Auto took advantage of me by overcharging for police directed towing and storage, and worst of all, by damaging my car and refusing to acknowledge that they did it. During a Small Claims Court hearing, Harriman Auto apologized for the hang-up and the improper storage fee they charged. They claimed that the damage to the car was pre-existing. I had a picture from the AAA driver that showed the damage was there when they picked up the car. But I did not think to take a picture of the car before I left it to deal with my medical issue. Therefore, it was my word against the owner of Harriman Auto that my car was undamaged when I left it while waiting for AAA. The end result was that I had to pay to repair the damage Harriman's towing did to my car and would not admit responsibility for. The only reimbursement was the improper storage fee. Although Harriman Auto took advantage of me, I must acknowledge the fantastic service provided by the AAA provider, Loyal Tire & Auto. I encourage all to patronize Loyal Tire and avoid Harriman Auto. read more

Dealing with this place was a nightmare! The front desk associate Sandy was absolutely rude and had the most disgusting and horrible attitude both over the phone and in person. The guy who did the actual towing of my car was a liar and made false promises and the whole company just scammed me out of almost $600. The tow truck driver wouldn't let me call a different tow company (I did not call them in the first place, he said the state troopers did but the state troopers only put out the dispatch to the closest tow company they don' do the actual calling so that was his first lie) and he said that because the troopers called by law I couldn't use a different company. I called a friend in the trooper barracks who works there and he informed me that there is no such law or rule. Then they charged me $150 to junk the car and didn't give me any money back and refused to let me use any of the proceeds towards the tow fee which I was originally told was $125 to start then $6.50/mi by the state farm h.e.l.p. truck guy who came to the scene and the tow guy tried to tell me $200 to start and when I threw a fit he "lowered" it to $125 after that was what it was to begin with (lie number two and scam) he then told me and my father he'd take the care wherever we wanted and didn't care where it was as long as he got paid. He was following us to our house and my father made a wrong turn taking us an extra 30mi out of the way and he charged us for that! Every tow scenario I've had the operator is understanding and doesn't cost us for mistakes in directions or a short distance or even offer discounts for understanding. This operator (Walter) when we got to our house the total was $317 when it would have only been about $166.60+tax based on my math and directions from our original starting point before we took the wrong exit. So the operator suggests we take it to the shop because the boss will work us out a deal (he guaranteed it) so my father agreed but left because he was late to work so I followed the tow truck alone. The tow truck guy Walter never said the meter was still running and that he was charging us to take it back to the shop, when we get there he says "$362.22" and I was just disgusted. No one worked out a deal and they only gave me till 1pm the next day to pay the fee and tell them what I wanted to do with the car. I asked about junking it and they said they charge $150 to junk it and they keep the title.. Long story short instead of a $166+tax fee I winded up leaving paying close to $600. The woman Sandy at the front desk tried to tell me I could only pay cash too, and I saw card machines and when I got upset she swore she was right and double checked and found out I could pay with card. The whole experience was a nightmare and I will never go here again or recommend it to anyone. I'm also reporting them to the B.B.B. (Better Business Bureau) because based off of other reviews, they've done the same to many other innocent patrons! I hope their exploited for their scams and lies and are shut down soon!
