While there was nothing particularly special or extraordinary about my first experience here, it was acceptable overall, so I'll be back again. read more

This may look like your average nail salon but they are professional as all get out and from what I could see very, clean and hygienic (I'm a nurse and a little OCD when it comes to cleanliness). The staff is extremely polite and conscientious of their clientele. The salon/spa is peaceful, serene and relaxed. I can tell all aspects of service are intentional and well planned; which definitely sets them apart and puts them in the "high end" league. I think their prices are exceptional for the level of service and attention to detail they provide. Also, I did not get that weird vibe I always get when I walk into a chain/mall nail boutique (e.g. where the technicians are working their butts off and may not be treated well by their manager/shop owner, are always talking amongst themselves and not to their clientele, etc). My technician was a doll and very skilled. I felt very well cared for (for those of you who like the hippie-dippie crap, I thought her "energy" was amazing and lovely). I received this mani-pedi and a massage as a gift. I generally only get mani-pedi's when I got to Vegas but given my experience here, I plan on going back every month for a mani-pedi and every two weeks for a manicure/polish change. Not because I'm vain (which is why I think people get their nails done ;) but b/c it was so rejuvenating and uplifting. read more

I have been going to Belle for over 3 years. As someone who is very picky when it comes to manicures, The staff at Belle is always very friendly and consistently provides a great service time after time. They also have a great loyalty program, just an extra perk that keeps me coming back! Thank you Belle! read more

This is a great new gem. The salon couldn't be cleaner and everything is top-of-the-line. It's refreshing to see the care and concern they have for the client as a new shop in a great location. After every step (filing, buffing, etc.) they ask if you like what they did -- this prevents mistakes and a dissatisfied customer! They have awesome color selection: OPI, Essie, and a shellac for no-chip and offer to help you pick a color if you are having trouble. There's even a rewards program that you sign up for free when you pay. Everything is also 20 percent off since it's their grand-opening. Get to it! read more

My friend got me a manicure voucher last year and I finally had the chance to use it. Belle Spa & Nails is a nice, clean and tranquil salon. Granted I was the only customer in the middle of a weekday, it was great having some quiet time. There is a TV in the salon, but it's muted and had subtitles. I loved the neck and shoulder massage that accompanied my manicure. The lady did a wonderful job. It looks like a gel manicure even though it wasn't. Overall, great spot to do your nails if you're in the area. read more

This salon is clean and amazing. My manicure is flawless, and came not only with a arm and hand massage, but a neck and shoulder massage too! The massage was more relaxing than some I've received at full service, high end salons. The only things that threw me off is you must tip in cash, orders under $20 must be paid in cash and they use your phone number as an identifier - all worth the end product! read more

I called in for an appointment for a mani as this would be my first mani in Chicago; I just moved here a couple of days ago. When I got to my appointment, "Boo" was very friendly, asked me to pick a color; I did, and then I asked her, since it wasn't too busy, was there any way I could add a pedicure to my appointment. She said she needed to check and then said she'd be able to accommodate my request. Now, I also informed, "Boo" as well as the guy who was starting my mani "Kel" that I had gel on my toes (remember this part for later). Kel was nice; however, he didn't soak my dip powder off entirely, and when I asked him to ensure everything was off, he seemed a bit annoyed; however, I didn't understand how he would start the process of polishing while noticing that all the dip powder I came in with wasn't wholly off. Hence, he proceeded to remove the excess dip powder and finish up the process. After Kel was almost done, another lady named "Michelle" came over and said, "Stacie, since you didn't book an original appointment for a mani + Pedi, we're going to need you to come back later for your Pedi because you'll need to soak the gel off of your toes" I then said to her well when I came in I asked the other young lady if I could add the pedicure service to my appointment and I also informed her that I had gel on my toes and dip powder on my hands; "Boo" already said "yes" which means "Boo" probably didn't add the service to my appointment in the system. When Kel was starting on my service around 12:10 pm, another lady walked in and made an appointment on the spot to come back for 1:30 pm. If "Boo" would've put my add-on pedicure in the system, maybe this wouldn't have happened, but communication and professionalism seem to be lacking in this particular establishment. I also told Michelle that if the soak-off part was the issue, I could've started soaking at 12:10 pm when "Kel" started my service. Michelle didn't seem to care much, and I will not spend my money here ever again. My first nail salon experience in Chicago was a disaster. Still, I'm hopeful that the next experience at a different salon in Chicago will be much better! read more

This place is wonderful. I've been here twice. I've gotten two eyebrow waxes and the Belle Mani + Pedi. They even touched up a nail that I had done at another salon for FREE. They do a very thorough job with the waxing, and the mani/pedi experience is AMAZING. They give a ten minute leg massage and five minute shoulder/neck massage with the Belle mani/pedi. Everything else is what you would expect with a mani/pedi. Additionally, they have really nice massage chairs, the facility itself is immaculate, the staff is very courteous and they take their time to do it right! They even offer beverages--soft drinks and water, such a nice touch! I just need to say a few more things about how courteous the staff is. After I finished drying, two of the girls came over to me, one put oil on my toes and wrapped them in plastic. Then she proceeded to pull down my leggings for me, put on my tall boot socks, and put my boots on too! The other girl picked my bag up for me, helped me get my coat on and even offered to zip it. Now, if that isn't above and beyond, I don't know what is! Maybe others would not desire this much help, but I am nine months pregnant and not having to zip my own boots felt like a vacation. Also, I haven't had to wait or make an appointment yet. I walk by just about every day, and I've never seen anyone waiting. That is a HUGE plus to me because Chan's on Chicago seems to always have a wait. Even if it's 2:00 on a Monday afternoon, you wait. Even if you make an appointment, you wait! Getting your nails done takes long enough, I don't want to sit there and watch other people get their nails done, am I right? Belle definitely isn't the cheapest in the neighborhood, but when I want a real treat (and I'd say a mani/pedi is always a rare treat for me), then it's my go-to place. Right now, they're running Christmas specials. And when you give them your contact info on the first visit, you immediately start earning credit toward free services! I'm not sure exactly how that works, but it's a motivation for loyalty! read more

My friends and I visited Belle after work for a mani-pedi combo. Our appointment was at 5:30 on Monday, and when we arrived, the place was empty so we had the full attention of the staff. The salon itself was really clean and they had a huge selection of colors. I had one of the ladies do my nails, and she was so thorough and professional! My mani-pedi is perfect, and they look so crisp and clean! My friends and I absolutely loved this spot, so we will definitely consider visiting again! PS: they do only accept cash tip, but I had warned my friends about that before visiting, so we wouldn't run into any issues. read more

What an amazing and relaxing experience. I was recently there with a party of 5. Two moms and three 7 year old girls celebrating a birthday. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone felt comfortable and special. We received flawless manicures and pedicures. The staff's patience and care with our "first timers" was sweet and appreciated. I would definitely come back for a return visit. read more

Persistence and understanding pays off. I'd been trying to get an appointment for a full back wax for about 3 months. I'd been to the Spa several times before, and received amazing service. Finally I got an appointment on Friday November 19th. I'm glad I was persistent. As always I was very pleased with my results. read more

I went there for no-chip mani. They took me in right away without an appointment. The place was spacious and clean. Anna was super detail oriented and did an amazing job with my nails and also was patient with me on choosing and switching colors. While I was there, there was another customer who was pretty unhappy with the overall service and made a bit of a scene. The manager handled it pretty well, she apologized and the people who worked there were also all genuinely trying to help than taking behind that customer's back in a foreign language. Even after the dissatisfied customer left, they all went back to business and didn't chat about it, which was super impressive. I'm giving four stars because of the selection of no chip nail options were limited, but I'll definitely be back. read more

Loyal Spa - Love this combo Anna helped me choose. - Nail Salons Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I was really impressed with this place. Went because it was the closest place with good reviews near where we were staying, and wish I could be a regular. Very clean, great selection of current magazines (fashion and gossip), great massage chairs. I plumped for the $60 spa mani/pedi and tbh not sure what I got that wasn't included in the $45 one, so would probably ask for more details next time. Still, didn't seem insane for the amount of massage I got out of it. Best part is that my nails look great and really lasted. Fingers only got a chip after 6 days, which included international flights and lugging baggage around. Toes look stunning. Would definitely recommend, and would be a regular if we move back to the area. read more

This is a new salon in the neighborhood that opened last week. I stopped in on Friday after work (around 4pm) and there was only one or two other clients in the salon. The service was quite friendly and attentive, their massage/pedicure chairs were new and some of the nicer ones that I have ever been in. The salon was clean and spacious and not cramped and cheap looking like a lot of other places in the area. The prices seem totally reasonable (not the cheapest or the most expensive in the area). They give you a shoulder massage with a manicure which is quite nice! I will definitely be going back! read more

I saw this place randomly perusing the neighborhood one day. My friend and I decided to get a manicure because the place is absolutely beautiful and very clean. We get our pedis and manis all the time and know when a place will be good or not. We don't usually always judge a book by its cover, but we did today. We didn't have an appointment, walked in, was greeted very pleasantly, and we chose a color and was taken to our seats and offered water. The ladies were very nice and did a very meticulous job. Our manis both lasted for over 5 days and still looked amazing! Keep up the good work Belle Nails! read more

Went here this weekend with two friends for manicures. We picked this place because it was BYOB but we're so pleasantly surprised by the service and quality and price! They have almost every OPI and Essie color to pick from, and all the staff was so nice and kind and helpful. They don't do acrylic or gels or tips but for a manicure you can't beat this deal--$15!! They did basic clean up, finger soak and hand massage. They also offer you a hot towel and shoulder/neck massage (I said yes, totally worth it). It's a quiet salon, you can tell there are a ton regulars. I didn't get a pedicure but the chairs looked great and I definitely want to get one in the future. I was very impressed, clearly. My nails usually don't make it a day without chipping but these are nice and strong without feeling heavy. Is highly recommend them if you're looking for a great manicure on the cheap. Tips: They only accept cash for gratuity, and only take cards for services over $20, so if you're getting that $15 mani hit up the ATM first. Also it is BYOB, and they'll pour your drinks for you, but they only have Dixie cups, so if you want wine in bigger glasses maybe bring your own. read more

I get my nails done every 10 days. My usual nail salon was fully booked so I decided to give them a try. I was very happy the couple of times I came here, until last time, the receptionist had a go at me because I left a tip with my card and not in cash, and they demanded next time I come in I leave a tip in cash. Well, I don't carry cash, and I am not doing a trip to The ATM just to pay you a tip. Will not be coming back. Rude. read more

I was thrilled when they were able to squeeze me in an hour before closing on a Sunday night and could do a mani/pedi at the same time. The staff is friendly, salon is clean, massage chairs are great and the grand opening rate is only $35. I took one star off because my nails did chip a bit after just a couple days. Definitely will be going back though! read more

Really loved this place. Service was great and quick. The prices are normal for the area, and my normal polish lasted 2 weeks on my hands and almost 1 month on my toes without chipping. It's BYOB, so it was super fun to come here with my girlfriend and sip wine and catch up. Will definitely return. read more

This place has been a go to for me for 7 years. However I always wonder why I come back. The receptionist who should be the face of friendliness for the establishment is horribly rude. She has never smiled once since she started about 1-2 yrs ago. She really acts like she hates her job. It makes you uncomfortable as she is the person to greet you and take your money. And if you get a pedicure you may have the bad experience of her ignoring you instead of helping you with your shoes. Today she turned me away for a walk in apt and then made me one for later in the day just to tell me she gave my apt away when I was 10 min late. Unreal. Time to find a new place. read more

Totally solid find! I called the morning of and made an appointment for me and a friend. They were ready for us when we arrived, did a good job and ended with a quick shoulder rub. For only $15, I have no complaints! Large color selection and nice ambiance as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely go back. read more

This was ok. We went for a party and had a large reservation however I felt like my treatment was rushed. My cuticles were not pushed back as I would expect. There was also polish on my fingers after I left. Nails have already begun chipping and it's been 2 days. We were also told we needed to be quiet not to disturb other guests. Probably shouldn't take party reservations if you expect people not to talk and laugh. Will not return. read more

I have been going to this salon for over two years at least once a week. The spa is clean, large and so comfortable. They offer tea and granola bars too. Their work is good and have a nice selection of polish-both Essie and OPI. I truly love this place! read more

Had a great experience at Belle Spa & Nails! Went with their Signature Mani/Pedi combo & was pleased with the quality & care that was provided. Shop was very clean and quiet, great for relaxing. read more

I really like the work they do at this place but the fact that they do not allow you to charge tips is a hassle. Also, recently I got a manicure and walked out and literally 5 minutes came back because it had smudged and hey wanted me to wait an hour for them to correct it. It would have taken less than 5 minutes! I will not be back. They also are never fully staffed which leads them to turn you away when there are plenty of chairs available. I guess they don't want business. read more

I am a customer that is very loyal when I find a place I like. I moved to Chicago in 2006 and went to the same nail salon for 7 years. Until they started rushing my mani/pedi and the I felt like I was in a factory line versus a client wanting to relax and enjoy the services I am paying for. I stumbled around the Gold Coast from salon to salon to try to find a new one. So last year I did and the salon was pretty good, price was right and the owner always did my nails. Then he passed me over to a trainee. Wrong move mister. This forced me to go back on the hunt for a salon and brought me to Belle. Such a nice relaxing place. Very clean! My no-chip manicure is flawless. Michelle was my nail tech and she did an impeccable job with every part of my manicure. I gave 4 stars because you should be able to tip on your card, they need to expand the no chip colors. They do not have near as many as other salons. Try getting Essie No Chip and OPI has many more to offer then what you have available. And the no chip fee is a little high ($45). I've seen $40 but most salons are $35. Otherwise very nice place. read more

A friend recommended Belle for the free, surprise shoulder massage. After finally going today, I 100% would go back. Better than any of the other Gold Coast/River North spots that I've tried. The ladies were all super sweet, the salon super clean, and the selection of colors is pretty nicely updated. Both my nails and toes looked great -- my manicurist did a very careful job. And they sent me home with a gift. read more

My favorite nail salon in the city!! I've been to center nails, nail art studio, and new age. My no chips will last over two weeks and my pedicures last forever. The best part is definitely the shoulder massage that comes with the manicure. I've been here numerous times and the staff has always been friendly. There was only one time Ive stopped by after work and they had a long wait, but I live nearby so it's easy for me to come again later. And they're BYOB! read more

Overall: I love this place for their work product but service could be improved. Sometime I say "I'm never going back!"...but I always do! Pros: *I'm always happy with my manicure (no chip or regular) and the pedicures are awesome! I've had a regular manicure from here last a whole week--and the manicures come with a shoulder massage. *Salon is modern and clean. Also, great selection of nail polish colors that well organized for easy viewing. *Nail technicians are friendly and never rush. Cons: *Cash only tip policy. I try to bring cash but sometimes forget. They will let you tip on the card but not without giving you a bit of attitude and letting you know they "prefer" cash. Recently, I forgot cash so left the salon to get cash for tip but got caught up and never made it back. The next time I went I explained to the nail technician that I wanted to tip double because I didn't get to tip on my last visit. Again, I didn't have cash (this time I legitimately could not get any because I was waiting on a new debit card) and she said it would be no problem. The receptionist was rude when I told her I needed to use a card even though I was tipping 50% at this point and explained my situation. *Sometimes it feels like employees are try to push you into selecting a nail color. I hate feeling rushed during this process! They ask if you "need help" but really I think they are just trying to get you moving...! read more

First time going here and I loved it! Lovely service and clean/beautiful spa setting. I will definitely be back!

Didn't have our reservation correct and didn't honor out presence. Weren't even that busy. Unapologetic. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend. Did not seem as nice as we'd hoped either. Boo read more

Was in Chicago for the weekend and popped in for a mani pedi. It's very clean, welcoming and they give a great nail service for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this spot for a quick pampering. read more

Here from out of to town and NOT impressed. Toenail polish change was decidedly sloppy. She filed away a lot of skin (!!!) and didn't even stop the bleeding very well. Plus, charging an extra $10 for gel removal is ridiculous. Far and away the worst service I've had at a nail salon. Clearly I'm only here for an emergency polish change, or I would have found a different place. read more

I think I may have to take it down a notch. While she couldn't have been nicer, the woman doing my pedicure was rather rough with the tools and caused the edge my toe to bleed and the other toe a little sore. I'm not one to Yelp (see what I did there?) in pain, but I cringed as she was applying pressure and nail polish remover to the affected areas. She did my manicure just perfectly but my "Fred Flinstone" feet may just have to take a breather this weekend. While no serious damage done here, this place will still be on my rotation of nail salons. read more

Went here today for the first time with my daughter! Exceptional service! Pedicures and manicures are fabulous and you can bring in your own wine and relax and enjoy! Will definitely be back! read more

My no chip manicure from here was just ok. Maybe it was just the girl I had, but she didn't soak my hands before doing my cuticles and was a bit sloppy in cleaning them up. I go for my nails regularly so it's not like she was working with talons here. The paint job was very neat, but next time I'll stick with my lunch hour go-to in the loop. It's 10 bucks cheaper and when I leave there my cuticles look they did when I came out of the womb. read more

Brought my wedding party here for nails the day before my wedding. The color selection was great, good service, and very clean/bright/comfortable salon. Only reason for docking them a star is because they are a little pricey ($70 for a no-chip mani/regular pedi) and you can only tip with cash. I can pay with card, but not tip. It's 2016, this seems a little outdated. read more

Highly recommended!! I was in town for work and needed a mani pedi desperately. I turned to yelp of course, and landed on Belle's page. They were able to accommodate me a few hours after I had called for an appointment - yay! Definitely one of the most precise mani pedis I've ever had. Excellent work by these ladies! They offer a ton of shades by Essie and OPI. And have a few lines for the gel manis. They also include a short shoulder rub which was amazing. $45 for a mani pedi was well worth it! read more
