Five-Star Experience at Lowe's! I recently went to Lowe's to look for patio furniture, and we found exactly what we were looking for on display. Our first interaction was with Miguel, the department manager, who was extremely pleasant and helpful. He took the time to assist us and made the shopping experience easy. We then worked with Vernon at the Customer Service desk, who was also excellent. He was professional, helpful, and got everything set up for us. We initially misunderstood the delivery schedule, so I called and spoke with Araceli , one of the managers. She quickly understood the situation, took care of the problem, and told us they would have our furniture delivered the very next day. To her credit, they did exactly that. The delivery team was also fantastic. I unfortunately didn't catch their names, but they were fast, professional, clean, and efficient. They handled everything carefully and got the job done quickly. This was my first experience shopping at Lowe's for something like this. I've used other companies in the past, but hands down, Lowe's provided a great experience from start to finish. If you're purchasing something that you can't easily fit in your vehicle, I highly recommend talking with Miguel, Vernon, or Araceli.. I was amazed by this Lowe's home improvement, superstore, so amazed I signed up for a Credit Card right on the spot and being a member received a amazing $24 discount on a door that was already discounted down to $159, what a deal this paid my tax and threw a little extra on the discounted storm door. I'll travel from Napa any day! So right off the bat I will say that I also have been bamboozled by false inventory online. But that seems to be common with any big box store... Otherwise my experiences with customer service and inventory at this location have been very good! In particular I like their gardening section. They have lots of healthy looking plants in the clearance section! They actually water their plants. Most of the time it just seems to be making room for new arrivals. The associate calls it "the happy shelf". The employees I've interacted with have been great too! The gardening section people are nice to talk to. They actually also garden and so can tell you tips or about their own experiences. The nice thing about their plants is they have a one year guarantee. So if they die you can get a replacement or refund. I think all of the plants I've bought from Lowe's have survived so far. I can't say the same for the big orange competitor. Tip: If you're buying mulch you can simply tell the gardening register person and pull your car up to the curb for assistance. No need to load and push around a heavy cart yourself! When I went into the main store two associates helped me find a tape measurer. That's without me flagging someone down for help. The prices also seem to be fair and they often have good sales. I was disappointed however when I got home and realized they each had large bugs (pincher maybe?) inside their pots. Kimberly waited on me at the checkstand. She was kind and efficient. It began to pour down rain like nobody's business and as I stood there checking out the customer behind me "Ben" asked if I wanted him to get my car and drive it to the entrance! I came into Lowe's today to purchase a Microwave for an elderly couple who I help with random house maintenance. While I was driving there I got a text from a tenant that I manage a house for who told me their dishwasher is having troubles and needs replacement. I walked around for a bit in appliances to see which microwave and dishwasher I could purchase. There was 1 person working the appliances helping someone already, the. myself and 1 other person waiting for help. The employee noticed us waiting and quickly called for more associates to come help in appliances. Within 5 or so minutes someone (Kiera) had come over to ask if I needed help. I told her I wanted to purchase a microwave and walked her over to the one I wanted which fortunately in stock so she went to the back to get it. While waiting I was trying to make a decision on which dishwasher I was going to purchase. While I was waiting for Kiera. Another associate came over to see if I needed help. The other person that needed help was already being helped. Shortly after Kiera came out with the microwave I wanted then asked if I needed help with anything else. I told her I needed to purchase a dishwasher for a rental house. She was very knowledgeable about the different dishwashers and explained to me the differences of each one I pointed out as well as check to see if they had them in stock. I finally decided on an LG dishwasher that was in stock so I can get the quickest delivery and install. It costs $209 for the delivery, install and haul away of the old dishwasher and another $50 for the power cord and required hoses/parts. Since the dishwasher was in stock, I should be hearing from the delivery/installation person in the next couple days to schedule the delivery/install. Fortunately, I can install the microwave myself. I'm not sure if Lowe's just happened to have more employees working today (Sunday, 2/2/26) or they have improved their service, but it was a very pleasant experience today. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1921 with your 1700+ locations and now shrinking?!?! You were #1, the largest hardware chain store in America, until 1989 when Home Depot surpassed you. A few days before he told me about item's on clarence so I got a great deal on an expensive shelf as well. I've had nothing but great experiences at the Lowe's in Vacaville. the people in the paint department really need to get it together. I have had two different occasions where I've asked for a certain color and finish and have been given the wrong thing. the first time I asked for a 5 gallon of one white and was given another color. I painted my entire home before realizing and was stuck with that paint. not a big deal but this time I went and asked for several samples. two in a flat finish and 4 in a semi gloss. all of them flat and one of the colors wasn't one that I chose. get it together. both times they did right down what I wanted on the color swatch so not sure how there's so much confusion read more

I decided to order a Pit Boss pellet grill online and have them put it together for me since there was no additional charge for the delivery or putting it together. My first delivery, the grill was damaged. Upon delivery, the driver told me that it had a dent in it and that they should've called me in the morning. I received no call. They rescheduled the delivery for a new one which was supposed to be on Friday. Friday they moved it to Saturday. Saturday They moved it to Sunday. Sunday's delivery was damaged worse than the initial delivery . I was pretty irritated. Told him to take it back drove over to Lowe's. Fortunately, it's only a few minutes from my house. Asked for a manager . At this point, I figured I would just pick up the grill on my own and it put it together myself. I mean, how hard is it not to damage something . Upon speaking to the manager , she was extremely kind and apologetic and gave me 50% off, which really was not necessary. One thing about dealing with the big box stores they do back what they sell, and sometimes their customer service is really stellar. They loaded the grill into my car. We were at Lowe's on 9/1/2025 - Memorial Day to buy two filters for the refridgerator. The website showed that they had 8 in stock and the aisle and bin where we could find them...easy peasy right? They were not where the website said they were and nowhere in the department. We tried to get help from the one woman working but she was slammed with customers waiting to buy appliances. Apparently Lowe's had a big sale for the holiday...sadly they put all that onto one employee to handle. We went home and ordered those from Amazon for less money. Not a fan of this location,but, I go to it from time to time because it's so close to home. I came Saturday afternoon for a planter for my monastera. I mistakenly didn't bring the plant with me and bought a planter too small from a different location. So, this was my final stop before heading home to work on repotting my new plant. The garden center at this location was spacious and had a lot of things. They actually had employees on the floor. No one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. They seemed too busy on other things. I was able to find planters in a fat back aisle. Problem was the lights in the back aisles were off, so, i had to walk in the dark to get what I needed through those back aisles. Maybe this explains why there no other customers. I'm not sure if I want to come to this location again. This is not my first time here and having an "meh" experience. I rather drive to Sacramento or Fairfield next time I have to go to Lowe's. I bought a refrigerator here. Their delivery people are a clown show. They did Not do the install I paid for. They said they would come back if I made another appointment so I did, and they never showed up! Thanks to them after spending 2,000 for a fridge we Do Not have anything except a huge cardboard box with a fridge in it sitting in my yard. They are a totally inept and incompetent operation. I would not recommend buying anything from this place. Most workers are rude to customers and often they don't know what they're doing. If you really have to pickup something in this store come during the day time and avoid the afternoon shift workers. Then there's the delivery issues; the automated delivery response (the robot on the phone) is inaccurate. You need to speak to the delivery team to get the real schedule.... if you can get a hold of them. Which not very good in updates and expect you to wait at home for that 5 hours span once you get the delivery timeline. Customer service in this store are not customer oriented in person or on the phone. They will scan your calls and wont answer if you called twice. read more

Kept talking over me, said she could not honor a price other associates said they would honor. Her ASM was not knowledgeable. So I left frustrated, irritated, and annoyed. We lost our home in the LNU Fire 4 years ago. We are almost done with our rebuild now, including all of the tile for the bathrooms. We purchased some tile at this location on June 8. The contractor wasn't quite ready for it yet, we just wanted to make sure it was there when he was ready. He finished the bathroom and we way overestimated how much we would need, and we had 50 pieces left over. We tried to return it on September 8, and we were told it was past the 90 day mark, by TWO days. We asked to speak to a manager, and she also told us we were too late. If this happens at Home Depot they will always take care of the customer. We know this from experience having been rebuilding our house for the last year and a half. Gosh I don't know if I can even stand by 3 stars but I'll try. This is a COVID update. A lot of stores do curbside pickup. Am I grateful for that? Yes. It's pretty fast, convenient and safer than shopping in store. They get one star for having that option available. Though, I wish they had an option to add a pick up person. A lot of companies like kohl's allow for that. Because let's be honest, a lot of times you will have one person pay for something that maybe someone else can pick up. I know for me, I purchase things but may not necessarily be able to pick up the items as easily as another member of the household. But, this way that they do it is safe. I feel comforted knowing that the items I buy probably won't get stolen. So one star for that as well even though it is competing with a feature I prefer. I do realize the items at Lowe's can be more expensive than say Kohl's. So I do understand why the upper powers that be implemented this. Heck, another star for that I suppose. I wish I could give no stars. Except the sales person was helping when buying my washer and dryer. After this customer HAS BEEN AWFUL. My brand new whirlpool dryer has not worked properly since the first time I used it. The sensor turns off the dryer when the clothes are still wet. I called Lowe's and they said I had to call Whirlpool and there was nothing they could do. I've been trying to have someone look at my dryer since 12/26 and I still haven't been able to have a repair person look at it or return it. I'll never buy appliances though then again. I should have known better since they also screwed up a washing machine delivery last year. Buy your appliances at Costco. read more

After nearly 9 years of going to this location, it is still my go to place. Maybe it is because it is slightly closer to my house than the Orange Big Box Home Improvement place, but maybe not. I have worked at the Orange place for 4+ years (different location) so you would think I might be partial to it, but no. Lowe's is far better for me. They seem to keep things organized much better. Noticeable better. I see many very lower stars. Make sure to realize, this place is a wear house, always has been, always will be. They are not set up to be like your local ACE Store. Going to Lowe's and the other places like this, you are on your own. But thats okay with me. I am not there to learn how to rewire my house, or pour concrete, I am there to get what I need and leave. Lowes promised a rebate of new cookware for an oven we bought costing $1499. After three tries, our on-line rebate application was continually rejected. The Lowes telephone support team and website are unresponsive. There is no way you can get in touch with a human being to resolve the issue. Every time I try and buy plants from here, half don't have the price. I understand a couple missing tags, but also when you bring up the ones that don't have the tag on, the employees at the check out make you go back and find one that does instead of them attempting to help. This is not professional, as it is not on the customer to have to search through and find one with a tag and bring two up just so they can ring them up. It is extremely frustrating and a waste of time, especially when you come back and you're stuck behind other customers again even though you've already waited in line... Should give 1 star but their plants are at least of good quality usually. read more
